It's been over 20 years since I've eaten here. It is just as beautiful now as it was then. The croissants with strawberry butter was excellent. I ordered half sandwich of chicken salad, cup of tortilla soup and spring mix salad. My daughter had fish, potatoes and green beans which she really enjoyed.

This restaurant is inside Neiman Marcus downtown and is open Mon-Sat for lunch. If you work in the area or are just shopping or hanging in Dallas, I recommend popping in for a yummy lunch or a cocktail. Everything we had was good. We ordered the tuna tostada, blackened red snapper, and pot roast.

The Holiday Buffet is a must! 👏🏻It’s a small buffet full of flavor and the setting of the restaurant is so special and intimate to spend with loved ones. ❤️ The servers are extremely attentive and kind. My family and I enjoyed everything so much. Thank you! 🎄

Had the holiday buffet. Was expecting greatness. There was a huge variety of food. But disappointed in most of the things on the salad bar side. The prime rib carving station was nice to have but a bit tough. The sides could use some more flavor. The dessert was very disappointing. It get 3 stars instead of 2 because of ambiance and waitress.

We had another fantastic lunch here. I could make a meal out of the popovers with strawberry jam and chicken soup broth alone. My salad was tasty and fresh. Lunch went on from there to be dependable, good fare. The service was excellent at a time when it’s hard to get good service anywhere.

Our family has been going to the Zodiac for several years to celebrate Christmas. It's a special time to dress up a little and enjoy a wonderful meal together! The food was wonderful, the service excellent and the ambiance so fun. Thank you Chef Sara and all your staff!!

Visiting the Zodiac Room is a holiday tradition I have started with my team leaders, and it is a perfect way to show them how much I value the work they do. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was very enjoyable. Kita took wonderful care of us. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

What an amazing place for a fancy lunch! I went for their holiday lunch buffet and loved it. The buffet options are really good - lots of variety. And the service is top-notch! Plus there’s free valet parking!

Very yummy food and amazing service. We were also entertained by models who walked around promoting the dresses they sold in lower levels of the same building. We’ll definitely go back during my stay in Dallas

This restaurant is on the 6th floor of the Neiman Marcus in downtown Dallas. When we first walked up there was no one at the hostess stand. We waited and waited about 10-15 minutes and no one came. It was mid afternoon so most likely right after the lunch rush. Eventually a waiter went to get someone. (Not that anyone communicated with us) The hostess came out and finally seated us. The service was super slow. The waitress finally came out and greeted us. She was very friendly and professional. She took our order and then we waited and waited some more. We waited about 30 minutes when the waitress came out and apologized for the wait saying there was only one cook on staff because the others were on lunch break. I ordered the strawberry salad with salmon. It was delicious. I enjoyed every flavorful bite. I don't think I will be returning but truthfully if you have time for a super long leisure lunch I would suggest visiting the Zodiac. The food was amazing and will not disappoint. If you are wanting a quicker lunch or more personal service definitely choose somewhere else.

Came here for lunch and this place is fantastic! On the 6th floor. Lot of decor and a good ambience. Can get shopping in before or after. Very healthy menu as well as a tasty menu. Staff was great as were the busers. Highly recommend. Heart of downtown Dallas.

The Holiday lunch is our absolute favorite celebration every year! We continue to make countless memories. This year, Victor made it extra special. Hands down the best lunch/brunch spot in Dallas. Classy, delicious, outstanding service and friendly staff. No wonder why this staple has been opened for decades. Absolutely loved it.

Attended the Zodiac this Tuesday with my Mom and my future fiancé and had a wonderful time! Every visit to this place is first class. I ordered the chicken pail-lard Milanese and it was delicious! The service was top notch as well. I always walk out of that restaurant feeling like a million bucks!

Raul was our server...excellent customer service and attentiveness. Broth and Popovers light fresh and yummy. Warm incredible chicken salad.. Today on my birthday...the buffet was amazing. All types of delicious fresh salads. Cold and hot salmon...scrumptious. creamy potatoes, yummy sweet potatoes. Fork tender prime rib with creamy sauce. Truffle Ravioli...light and fresh. Turkey and flavorable dressing, lamb chops, creamy velvety baked macoroni and lots more including pita with pimento. Such a treat....we drank cosmos...which were a great pairing to our meal. Cake all moist and so tasty...we had all three...chocolate chip, white vanilla and chocolate. This day spent at Neiman Marcus downtown Dallas was incredible and a treasured event. We had high hopes for the Holiday Buffet, especially after seeing all the positive reviews. I will say that the dining room is pretty and makes you feel as if you're in a more upscale restaurant, but unfortunately that's where the positivity ends. Our waitress was rather rude and irritated, however it was a busy day, and I'm sure she had a lot to deal with. After being seated, we were served a roll and flavored butter. Although it was decent, we were never told what it was. The buffet itself was disappointing. For $50 per person, I expected much better. The caesar salad was soggy, the pita was burnt, and the mashed potatoes tasted as if they were made from instant potatoes flakes. The macaroni and cheese and ravioli dishes would have been decent if they hadn't been drenched in truffle oil. The pot roast and lamb was good, but nothing special. For dessert, we had the option of chocolate cake, red velvet, or confetti. They were out of chocolate, so we got a piece of red velvet and confetti. The red velvet cake had the texture of cornbread and didn't taste much different either. I'm not sure what the icing was supposed to be, but it definitely wasn't cream cheese. The confetti cake had a slightly better texture and taste, but that's not saying much. We barely touched either. For a $135 bill plus 20% tip, it was extremely disappointing. I was excited at the possibility of making the Holiday Buffet a Christmas tradition, but will not be returning.
