This my new local favorite Italian eatery. Friends of mine meet there monthly to have lunch together. They enjoy eating there really the pizzas. The Philly sandwich was also highly recommended. I am an adventurous eater so I ordered the Creamy Shrimp Tuscan dish. It was well presented and loaded with sun dried tomatoes, one of my favorite additives. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The cream sauce had great flavoring, not your bland cheese sauce. Price was reasonable and the service very kind and attentive. I plan on taking my family there soon. Ate there again and loved the food. Talked with the chef and was excited about the dish he was about to make for me.

A hole-in-the-wall Italian place needs to get a few things right to make it a memorable dine out: fresh food, rich flavor, warm service. Amore's ticks all the boxes. The menu options are plenty yet just concise enough to get you to pick something you'd like. The handmade pasta was delicious! Our server was courteous and answered our questions enthusiastically. They cared about you enjoying your meal! Just a caveat: beverage options are limited to standard Coke products. But honestly, a glass of Diet Coke is always good enough!

The price and quality of the food was good, I had the Chicken Alfredo with a side salad, it was delicious. I really loved the Alfredo,it was creamy and very well cooked. I was not a fan of their cheesecake(not pictured ),but that was on the dessert side. I had a great attentive waiter who checked on me often. I plan to return to try out other menu items.

Well I’ve been going to amores since 2015 and the pizza is awesome as well as the type of ranch you love! With all of that said, I had a specific experience today. I had a expired coupon which if current it would have allowed me to get a large pizza two roping special. Well the lovely worker by the name of Rosey went ahead and honored the expired pricing. Just a solid good business that goes to the extra length for their customers. I would always recommend their establishment.

First time here, was not a big fan of it. However, the dishes did look delicious. I had the baked lasagna, more like baked long noodle strips, wife had fettuccine Alfredo and we shared an all meats stromboli

Casual atmosphere, 1pm lunch with about 10 ladies, good selection of specials/lunch menu options; reasonable price. Server was courteous; server split bill as we requested without any complications Food - good tasting; 1 other & self had eggplant parmigiana which was good and with A LOT of sauce. We both thought it needed spaghetti to go with all the sauce, it seemed like too little eggplant for the amount of sauce. Others in our group seemed pleased with their meal. Bread was delivered late with our meal.

Not good food at all, the chicken Florentino was a watery mess with rubber chicken, the red sauce on the tortellini tasted like chef boyardee and the bread is dense and tastless...how this place garnered over 4 stars is beyond me, or y'all have no idea what Italian food is supposed to taste like. 1st and last time customer.

Food was good. A wee bit disappointing to know it wasn’t all made in house. The garlic bread was good and very dense. Both tried the sampler with lasagna, tortellini Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. Neither of us could finish our meal, yet not enough to take home for a reheat. The restaurant could use a painting refresh as there was Sheetrock showing and looking as it it had been rammed by the table one too many times. Service was good. The wait person was kind, answered questions, offered suggestions and made themselves helpful without being overbearing. We will come back again. We really want to try the pizza next.

The food is absolutely delicious. You can see the pizzaiolo (pizza maker) preparing your freshly made pizza The place is nice with paintings on the walls and Italian music playing in the background. It has a good atmosphere. At lunchtime or when it is not busy, the staff serve you really well. I would suggest to avoid going there when it is too busy, unless you want to deal with a stressed out staff. Delivery is available through "Slice" and it is a great option if you want to eat at home (look at their website for more details).

The most interesting thing for me was the house salad dressing. It is a tomato based Italian dressing, like nothing I've ever had before. If you come here, I would absolutely try the dressing, but get it on the side in case you don't like it. I personally liked it.

I came here tonight at 8:05pm and they close at 9pm. Upon walking in all the lights were off but the sign “open” was on. So we walked in super happy that they were open even though it looked closed. The waitress immediately said we start cleaning at 8:30 pm will that be enough time? I responded, “ Enough time for what?” She repeated it again, “ enough time….” I was like oh Well we want to sit and eat. So she finally relented and sat us and gave us menus begrudgingly. We felt uncomfortable so we sat and looked at the menu for like 30 seconds and she came back to our table and asked if we were ready to order. After being rushed and obviously not feeling welcome we just left. I will never go back there. Such a disappointment and I was looking forward to the food since my friend said it was really good.

Was way too heavy of a meal for my lunch break, but it was still very delicious. Might have to stop by when I have more time, and able to afford a food coma!

Ordered takeout thru uber eats. Ordered the Amore Sampler. Very small portion of lasagna. Served myself and as I was eating, I bit into something hard. Thought maybe it was a bone somehow from the chicken parmigiana. It was a small wire like piece of metal that was in my food!

A great local and quiet place in Duncanville. Good prices. Great food. And friendly Service.

I had the sausage spaghetti. The sausage was obviously food service sausage cubes. Same stuff the chains put on pizzas. Please, Amore’s, if you want to be distinguished among Italian food restaurants, make your own homemade sausage! It’s so easy and so much better. I was really disappointed. Also, the seating was very old and outdated.

This was the 1st time we have ever been here. We chose this restaurant b/c we were looking for Italian food that wasn't Olive Garden lol. We were pleasantly surprised by the way their salad with house vinegrett tasted along with the fluffy garlic bread. We got the Chicken Parmigiano with fettuccine noodles and the Veal Parmigiano with spaghetti noodles. Both were fabulous. If we ever to to visit the DeSoto area again, we will definitely visit this restaurant again... next time for the New York Style pizza.

Overall, not great, just ok. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, only people in the place. Server was friendly but doesn't seem like they get a lot of business. 🍕 pizza, garlic bread and salads were just ok, like cafeteria food. Not much flavor, doughy, lots of cheese. Meat raviolis were tasty.

First time here at Amore's, I had the sampler plate, three different dishes. Bread, salad, soft drinks. It was a good meal. Give it a shot.

We ordered 18" extra cheese, well done, a tossed salad and a kid's spaghetti and meatball. The pizza was not well done, so the cheese was weird, it was okay, we ate it, the spaghetti and meatball was bland, the meatball itself was tough, the kid didn't eat it. But the the salad (see photo), I have never had a delivery salad so 😞. I don't think we'll order from them again.

Our waiter was nice and friendly. The atmosphere was boring and dark, not a lively place. The food was bad, We ordered appetizers. The Calamari smelled so fishy. The bread with cheese was slices of cheese topped on some old bread with no taste. Cheese sticks were overcooked that tasted like burnt batter as the cheese had melted away from being overcooked in old oil. Two of our friends ordered meals of spaghetti & and meatballs, which looked like tomato sauce poured over noodles. The sampler plate looked like they took a frozen bag of food and dumped on a plate and microwaved and served.

I have eaten here twice. They have very good food and wonderful service. I would recommend them highly! Both the chicken cacciatore and the eggplant parmigiana are delicious.

Super delicious! Reminded me of the pizza in Ninja Turtles lol I enjoyed it very much, great flavor! The customer service was very nice also! New favorite pizza spot in Dallas!

I just picked up 3 chicken parmigiana dinners and in all 3 the chicken was burned. I am very dissatisfied. I spent $71.00.
