I recently moved to the area and wanted to try this place for a while. The service was good, but the food and price point are horrible. We ordered Brisket Bites, Parm Fries, the Meatloaf, and the Salmon (to go) and everything was beyond mediocre and overpriced. Let’s start with brisket bites, very greasy and oily, they were not anything to get excited about. The meatloaf was wrapped in bacon and was topped over a tiny portion of mashed potatoes circled with barbecue sauce. I wouldn’t get or recommend this dish. The salmon portion is tiny. Not to mention these Brussels Sprouts and mushrooms are completely void of any spice or flavor. Total let down. The fries might be the only saving grace here. Even at $6 they seem overpriced. They had good flavor and crunch, but they were smaller fries and were heavily battered and fried. Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 4/5 Food - 1/5 Drinks - 3/5 Price - 2/5 (if you want to charge steakhouse prices, your menu better be steakhouse quality, this was not)

Wow - great atmosphere, awesome food, nice bar selection. Truck stop burger was insanely good. Some of the best pastrami I have ever had. Beautiful patio dining

Republic is a gorgeous hidden gem that provides a genuine southern hospitality for any occasion. Whether you're out for date night or relaxing after work, Republic offers comfy lounge chairs to cozy booths. The staff are friendly, inviting and attentive. The chef is superb with the freshness and flavor of the menu (and I feel better knowing the food is locally sourced.) The best part is the bourbon selection. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. You'll taste their passion in every craft cocktail sip. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful and tasty food, we got the chili bacon Chicken lolipop and Pan seared Chicken. we arrived a a little late (10mins before kitchen closing) otherwise would have tried more items on their menu. Definitely will be visiting again!!

First time going to this restaurant with a colleague. Overall great experience, food was delicious, service was a little spotty, and great atmosphere.

Tried a new place today and WOW!! We shared two of the deviled eggs and an order of empanadas. The eggs were incredible! I could really taste the grain mustard and the bacon had a bit of spice without being overwhelming. For my entree I got the pastrami sandwich with pimento cheese and the fries with cotija cheese. Next time I will get the pick two and do half of this sandwich with the arugala salad. My wife had the salad and it has fresh grapefruit and goat cheese with pecans. It was exceptionally good and wasn't overdressed. We finished up the state fair peach pie and vanilla icecream. The dough was hot and flaky. The filling was warm and sweet and the pie was dusted with cinnamon sugar. We got the icecream on the side. It's high quality vanilla and a nice treat on a hot day. We look forward to trying the dinner menu next time!

Beautiful dining room with friendly and attentive service. Not everything on menu is perfect, but Texas river fish was very good and so was bread pudding desert. Pricing is fair for the experience. 1 appetizer, 2 mains, 1 glass 🍷 and one desert $100 plus tip. Excellent place to dine with friends in an overall wonderful atmosphere.

Very cozy atmosphere, seems like a great hangout place. The food is amazing, we also got the poblano cheese dip and it was fantastic. The chicken fried steak is tender and savory, the gravy that comes on it contains jalapeños and bacon!!!! So delicious. My friend had the Dr Pepper rib and they are fall off the bone, finger licking, good!!! Cannot wait to come back here on a more casual day vs a work lunch.

We had a great time eating here on a late Saturday night. The beer menu and late night drinks are diverse and modestly priced. The food was amazing and well seasoned. We could have picked one of each if we had the time. We will be back.

The bacon wrapped meatloaf was tender, moist and paired well with the onion crisps. Dim and relaxed ambiance with a decorative wine cork overhead lighting. Spacious yet romantic seating. Service was excellent. The waiter was efficient and had great time management.

These are the best ribs I've had! The staff was equally amazing and kind. I'd definitely come back!

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff greeted us as we came in the door. We were sat quickly and our server made knowledgeable recommendations for food and drink. The bartender even came over when I asked about what bourbon he used in my drink. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. We aren't really bread pudding fans but theirs is amazing. We will definitely be back.

My shrimp salad/grapefruit Martini was delicious. This place isn't diverse at all! Will probably order my food to go next time if I decide to return.

Really enjoyed my night out at Republic Tavern. I have to say hands down one of the best service I have reciprocated in awhile. Kayla helped recommend my meal for the evening. The sea bass that she recommended was cooked to perfection. Fish was flaky, hot, and delicious. It was a great pairing for our drinks for the evening as well. Overall the atmosphere was good but Kayla’s friendly smile and attentiveness really made the visit worth while. Will definitely be stopping in more in the future.

Wonderful food with a little twist. We didn't even make it to the entrees, the appetizers were so filling! Staff was phenomenal. Our waiter Noah was super attentive. Can't wait to go back again. Great atmosphere. A bit loud but such a great restaurant. The managers were so friendly as well as the support staff. A definite must try! I don't remember the name of the drink but it's a twist on an old fashion and they smoke the glass on a wood plank, wow, best drink I've ever tried, I highly recommend it! Kids meals were a nice size. Honestly, I wish I could have tried everything!!!
