Admission was $18 before fees and taxes in September 2023. I thought that was a fair price. It took me about an hour to go through. There was no time limit on how long you could look around. To stand at those windows and look down at the parade route was beyond words. It was a very quiet and somber museum. I enjoyed the films and footage that they were playing in the different sections of the museum. There is a bookstore on the main floor, I thought it was tasteful.

Historic museum! It tells a great story about the assassination of JFK! It really provides thorough explanations and narratives and sets up the actual location of the gunman. The surrounds are also nice to explore. I’d recommend arriving thirty mins before your appointed museum ticket time to check out the X spots and take photos. I recommend the earliest time for museum as it is nice and quiet! There are lots of tourists! Parking is $12 for all day basically. Tickets are only purchased online so be sure to buy it online beforehand!

This museum is well planned. The displays are professional looking. They focus mainly on the assassination. However, there are all of two panels on the conspiracy theories, which I think deserve more attention. There are literally thousands of documents citing evidence on this topic. That was an unfortunate choice. Staff were very friendly, and the gift shop has a nice assortment of products. Great experience! It's my third time to visit.

A "must visit" in Dallas outlining the JFK assassination and investigation, indictment and controversy surrounding it. Book your tickets online in advance. While the JFK assasination in Dallas was a specific event and a critical moment in history, the museum adequately covers events leading up to it and after it, which all have defined history in many ways.

Lots to see at the 6th floor museum! We visited and walked around for about an hour. There were lots of pictures and text about the JFK assassination that were well organized. Wish there were more interactive parts to the museum though. There’s also an exhibit in progress on the 7th floor. Gift shop is available but kind of pricey. Parking is available for a fee behind the museum or at a garage nearby. Tickets are $18/person.

Really cool setup! Exceptionally educational. The AC was a little cold, but it wasn't too bad. It would be cool if someone could stop people from standing in the busy city street to take a picture, but otherwise it was an awesome afternoon activity.

Great museum, lots of historical information on the tragic day of JFK's death. It was very busy on the weekend. The building has great views of Downtown Dallas and surrounding areas. I would recommend you visit if you like history.

It was too crowded on. Weekday at 1pm. Hardly had space to stand and read the exhibits. I guess it was because of the SC2022 crowed. The good - informative, good insights, exhibits and information, also it was an actual side gave another perspective. The bad - writings were too long to stand and read, some people can't stand for hours just to read the material. It was a good idea to show some of the videos, those were good but the text was bit too much. Could be replaced with audio guides. Parking - paid (I guess it was $10) Ticket price - $18 for adults and we had a 5 years kid with us, they charged $14 (youth). I reminded them that he is 5 years and she re adjusted the price.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday the other day. We’ve talked about going for years now. We’re both from Dallas yet have never been. I’m so glad we finally went! It’s a self guided/paced tour which is absolutely perfect. It can take quite some time to read through everything and watch all the videos, but definitely worth it if you want the full effect. There was just so much to see and learn. Even if you think you know everything about Kennedys death, once you go here, you realize you really don’t. It’s amazing. It’s a part of history, and it’s amazing to be in an area where history, insanely sad history, took place. It definitely makes you feel lots of emotions. So glad they’ve made the building into a museum and I hope all who get the chance can tour it! It’s well worth it.

Amazing museum. Wish they had the actual rifle, car, or bullets. But it was very informative. It's unfortunate that you can't take video. Make sure to park at the metered parking to save money. $4 for 2 hours.

It’s a sad place I have to say, you’ll find a lot of information of the sad event by either watching some short movies/documentaries or by walking the museum and reading the information and seeing the picture. There are two floors, the upper floor mainly has the view of the Elm street and the surrounding and different places where you can watch movies about the incident. It’s mostly like a big hall compared to the main floor where you can observe some exponats. At the time of my visit, there were many people, we had to wait in line a little , however, it went by pretty quick. The ticket to enter was $18 for adult.

Comprehensive view of the events leading up and following the JFK assignation. The museum was very engaging and really did a good job of portraying the feelings of a city and country that had lost its President. Would strongly recommend a visit.

Being at this historic site evoked many feelings. The museum exhibits were interesting and covered a bit of history beforehand. There were video displays as well. Although it wasn't clear what direction the layout was going at times, the displays were well designed. They covered some of the conspiracy theories. It was a bit unsettling but this location commemorates one of the most important moments in American history. This is not a place I would bring a young child but people did bring their children.

A visit to the "Sixth Floor Museum" makes you think even more and more or less confirms the doubts that L. Harvey Oswald was not the murder or not the lone murder. The view from the window of the scene of the crime and also the pictures exhibited there raise questions upon questions to which no answers will be given. The museum is structured chronologically as a timeline and you can see what must have happened in this historic place directly on the window, on a digital presentation. Standing behind the fence at the memorial and looking at the three white crosses in the street makes you think very, very much and confirms your doubts. The museum staff were very nice and the visit, in smaller groups, went very smoothly. If you are in Dallas or nearby, then a visit to the "Sixth Floor Museum" is highly recommended.

Museum was good, very informative and covered the subject matter well. Would recommend for adults and older children. There is a lot of reading throughout the displays, so give yourself time to get through everything. Would have appreciated more audio / video / interactive media, but overall a worthwhile visit.

Great museum. Highly recommend if you want to learn about the assassination of JFK. Information is well presented and very educational. I really enjoyed watching all the video presentations too. It took me just over 2.5 hours to go through everything and I love that with timed entry they don’t overcrowd the museum.

Story telling Museum of JFK assassination. Lots of reading is required to have fun, though. It was an inspiring place for me since I love histories

Took my daughter so she could get a better idea of how Kennedy influenced the nation and the effects his assassination had on the world. She really enjoyed the museum and learned a lot.

Awesome museum of the assassination of John F Kennedy. I've always wondered about how hard the shot would have been from the specific window. After seeing g it in real time, it would not have been that hard of a shot, but with a bolt action? Not too sure. We want ANSWERS! Why have the JFK Assasination files not been declassed yet? Pretty interesting stuff. Left the museum with more questions than answers. Ok Bye

I really enjoyed this museum. I recommend purchasing tickets online in advance. The museum features videos along the way and seating if you get tired. The site of JFK's assassination is visible from the window.

This was an interesting place of history. It was really cool to be there and be in Dealy plaza just to this place I’ve only ever seen on tv and movies. The museum itself was on two floor of the School book depository. It’s well done and has some nice displays with a lot of photos and timeline laid out. Besides seeing the actual building and the corner in which the window and shooters spot was the museum didn’t really have much to see. None of the original artifacts are there, everything’s in the Smithsonian or library of congress. So the few artifacts they have were all replicas. Parking was 12 dollars and the admission was 25 a person. It was in no way worth that much money, that was disappointing.

Really great museum for those interested in the assassination of JFK. Need to make reservations online and masks are required! We went mid day on a Tuesday and it was still fairly crowded

Let me start by saying I'm not big on museums surrounding sad events. They definitely deserve their space, but I don't like feeling sad. With that, I just thought it was okay. If you're into historical events or have a memory connection to this, you'll probably enjoy it. The museum is primarily all located on the sixth floor. Displays are mainly poster displays with paragraph notes, stories, and comments. There are a couple videos, artifacts, and a 3D diagram. My biggest gripe about the museum was the crowd. Even with the timed entry it was overcrowded. People crowded around the displays within a couple feet making it difficult to read the signs or even move around at time. The museum has a 7th floor that is barely being used, which could be used to space everything out more. I probably won't ever go back unless a visiting family or friend wants to go.

Definitely a cool display of a historical event. I wondered how much information they could fit in just a museum covering JFK's assassination but it turned out to be amazing, full with a biography of JFK and his history along with the assassination, where it happened, and the aftermath. A cool visit!

We were able to take a few hours away from conference to visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza to learn about the historical tragic day of JFK's assassination. Excellent Museum. Highly recommend to purchase your tickets on line to guarantee your admission.

This is a must see in Dallas. Right across from the Grassy Knoll. The exhibits were interesting and lots of historical context was provided for the JFK assassination. It is a lot of reading but they do a good job mixing it up with videos, models and displays. I think it could get crowded on weekends and holidays so I’d be sure to buy tickets in advance.

This is a Dallas must, no matter your age! When you get to the 6th floor, it's a self guided tour, but the way they have it set up walks you through not only the shooting, but JFK's life leading up to it and the days, weeks, and months after. It was very informative, my wife and I loved it. This was such an important time in our nations history and I'm really glad we got to see the museum and grassy knoll.

Upon confirming my trip to Dallas I was most excited about visiting this museum and it definitely did not disappoint. Obviously the historical significance alone would be worth the visit but the educational aspect of the museum is spot on and really helps paint the full picture of the events that led up to the assassination, what transpired after, and who may have had a motive to kill JFK. I would plan on spending at least 90 minutes here to truly experience everything this awesome museum has to offer.

Very well done!! Amazing piece of American history which is well preserved in this museum. The sixth floor museum is located on the exact floor of the Dallas Book Depository that Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK from. The museum spans the events of that tragic day but also includes events which led up to that day and the conspiracy theories which followed. If you are in Dallas, I would highly recommend checking out this museum and the grassy knoll.

The Sixth Floor Museum located in Downtown Dallas is a very interesting museum that provides a lot of information of John F. Kennedy ranging from when he was born to the conspiracy theories after he died. There are a few places around that will show video of the assassination and the aftermath. I think it's very informative and a fun time for anyone who is interested in Dallas history or the Kennedy family. I do wish that the line for tickets and to be let in after buying tickets could be faster but I understand that they probably don't want it to be too crowded as certain areas were crowded.

A must-see place if you are visiting Dallas. So much history here. Much of it has been kept intact and as it was left after it happened. You can feel the energy of what happened here. Very somber and impactful as well as educational. So glad I visited it. Well worth the wait and cost. Even my early teen sons thoroughly enjoyed it and were into it.

What an experience I just got here.. It is a lifetime experience, trust me you should visit the same and experience the history. Please reserve your ticket inside for smooth walkin. You will go through the entire journey of Mr.Kennedy from his childhood for being Mr. PRESIDENT. They have movie room too where you can watch all his video and conspiracy theories about the assassination.

We opted not to do the tour due to time constraints, but we still wanted to check out the gift shop. Unfortunately, they make you pay to take the tour to get to the goft shop, so we passed on that as well. Very interesting business model. Instead, we explored Dealey plaza and took some photos before leaving.

A must do if you are in the Dallas area. Spent about 2 hours self guided walking thru the 6th floor and watching some of the various videos. Like other truly historical sites you get a glimpse into another time. They did a great job retaining the true history while acknowledging the still unanswered questions. Also there is an air of respect for what you are seeing. It is quiet, and allows for you to fully embrace the museum. Oh and the lady at the front where you buy your tickets is the nicest lady ever!

So affecting and emotional, any history buff would love this amazing museum to commemorate the tragic day and short life of JFK. You can immerse yourself in reading every detail of the day and time leading up to the horrific assassination in Dallas. BRING BACK THE HEADPHONES for guests to wear and walk around with. This is a lot of reading for some teenagers and kids who want to enjoy this exhibit in the summer. The displays are detailed and have such great photography and videos to go along with the extremely factual and descript words. What an afternoon.

Insightful and somber experience. Detailed history of JFK and the events. The view from the window added a poignant touch. Recommended for those interested in history and reflection.

My family enjoyed visiting this museum. My kids aged 10 and 14 liked reading the information and looking at all the pictures. It was a somber experience to see the X in the middle of the street where JFK was shot.

I firstly thought I was expected to visit from the six floor all the way to the first floor. Then, when I realize only the six floor is the museum, I thought there might be a lack of content. It turns out that the museum is content rich. Everything on the wall, from words, photo, records, to videos, altogether give me a comprehensive sense of JFK’s achievements, struggles, and stories in general. The museum is prone to present history through articulation and interpretation; artifacts presentation is not a major. Before visiting here, all I know about this president are related to assassination. But the museum did an amazing job of showing all aspects of the president, not only those achievements, but embarrassing moments. It also shows the exact position where the snippet fired at that moment and you can see a X on the road indicating where the tragedy occurred.

A great self paced walk through the JFK assignation timeline. There are plenty of friendly and helpful staff on had to answer questions. Everything is very neat, clean, and well organized. So many different displays and diagrams.
