It's interesting, but sadly on private property and they won't let anyone in. It's gated, but you can still get some ok pictures. Make sure you plan on seeing other things in the area and don't plan just around this one eyeball. It would be better if they charged a small fee and allowed entrance for closer pictures.

This is a cool place to take some Instagrammable photos. However, it is on a private property and you cannot get close to it . There is a fence around and you can take pictures from outside of it. There were some other people doing that at the time I got there, so you might have to wait a little. Be mindful that there are many homeless people in the area. Since there is hard to find a parking right next to it, there is a parking garage ( tower garage ) right behind the giant eye .

We loved the eyeball. It definitely is a conversation piece in downtown Dallas. We came downtown to do a ghost hunt and had a perfect foggy night then saw a big giant eyeball....it just made it all the more perfect!

👁 I love this giant eye ball!! 👀 It’s tucked between a couple sky scrapers. The park is privately owned, but the view of the eye ball is visible from the street, and best observed from above, at either Woolworth’s or Sky Blossom.

Such a strange and unique sculpture and def worth seeing if you’re in the area. As others have mentioned, you can’t get up close, but it’s easily viewable from behind a fence. Parking can be difficult, so I’d just recommend taking the (free) M-Line trolley downtown and then walking a couple of blocks to see this sculpture.

Awesome art work. The eyeball is not accessible at the moment, the court yard is closed off to the public at the moment. The backdrop is a great high rise the reflects the ski and its surroundings. You’ve definitely got to swing by and marvel at it.

It was closed by a fence🤦‍♀️. But it’s a huge eye ball sculpture located in downtown. It’s strange. It’s unique. It’s eye catching. It’s super cool. We couldn’t go near it but we were able to see it from outside the fenced area. It’s massive enough. We parked in the parking garage. And the walk was around 6 to 8 minutes. Nice detailed attraction located in downtown area. Do check them Out.

Nice but some people that have no LIFE tagged it with black spray paint!

This is an interesting and "eye-catching" sculpture. Hidden behind a fence, so be aware that you won't be able to go near it and touch. But still worth visiting. It is a possession of the owner of Joule hotel across the street, where you can find more art.

Awesome artistic sculpture looks like a giant eyeball, i loved the detailing of the sculpture. It’s between 2 sky scraper’s. Located in downtown Dallas, there is plenty of other things to do. The lawn wasn’t open to public, but you get a good view of the eyeball from front. Enjoyed the art work 👍👍👍👍

Real cool piece of art work located right across the street from The Guild hotel. If you get a chance to check it out at night I encourage you to do so because of how cool it looks with the lights.

This was a fun little spot that my wife recommended we should visit while in Dallas, TX. It wasn't too difficult to find, and you have to use the parking garage just a block or two up the street as there is minimal street parking. The statue is very cool, and it's on a beautiful piece of property. Although it is private, it is still something special. I could imagine it would not be as nice if there were people on the grass and touching it. You can walk the entire gate structure and see it from many different angles, and at night time, they have different color lights that shine in. Lots to do around the eye, including shopping, eating, and tourist attractions.

This place into downtown Dallas is really amazing. I never ever seen something like this and I couldn’t ever imagine somebody could put a human eye in big dimensions into a important city how is Dallas, Texas. One of the most wonderful things I saw in Dallas. Definitely this make the city more interesting 🧐. Thanks for inspire us, the turists, with this big eye 🙂

One of the main attractions of Dallas is the 30 feet tall Giant Eyeball. This fiberglass sculpture is built by the artist Tony Tasset. The sculpture portrays an enormous hyper-realistic eyeball with streaky red veins. It has been added to the private lush garden in front of the Swanky Joule Hotel in the middle of Dallas Downtown in 2013. You can not enter the beautiful garden though. You can take photos from outside of the fence. A great op. Don't miss this captivating sight! Highly recommended.

Please visit this place ONLY if you are in Dallas downtown area. This is a 30 feet eyeball sculpture which looks real. You cannot go near it as it is fenced so you can take photos from a distance only. We went thinking it will be in some huge area and ended up paying 23$ for nearby parking which was waste. Good to see ONLY if you are nearby.

It's a giant eye really, not a lot more to it than that. There's lots of cafes, restaurants etc nearby so you can get lots of types of food. There are viewing platforms from three sides of the eye though you can't get really close up to it. Lots of walls to sit on if you get tired or wany to sit down to eat some food outside.

We parked a block or two down from the eyeball. Dallas seems to be pretty clean downtown although there are homeless around they honestly don’t bother you. Walked a few blocks only to find you cannot even go on the lawn as there’s a large iron fence. You can still see it clearly and take photos. Not sure when it’s open to get a closer look.

My wife and I stopped off here before heading to the airport. The eyeball itself is actually pretty neat! The smell of urine all around the place was pretty gnarly, which I assume came from the homeless people that were scattered around. There's also a massive amount of trash on the lawn so it is not maintained very well. The parking might also be tough, but we lucked out which was kind of nice. It's still worth a stop if you're killing time.

Access to this is for paying but you can stand on the street and take pictures with the Giant Eyeball! It's an interesting feature to look at and it's a walking distance from the train station in the downtown area. It is surrounded by many bars, restaurants and hotels!

We couldn’t get in as the gate was closed. It requires tickets to be purchased for the entry. Just a peek clicks from outside fence, the garden looks beautiful and cute decorations all over. Its a great display of art and unique design. The garden looked small from outside and is on a private property.

Always a fun thing to see when I’m around in Dallas. It’s also fun to see people taking photos with it in the background. It is on private property so no trespassing - only photos from the street. Definitely check it out.

A beautiful and unexpected piece of art that I just happened to stumble upon! The area is very well maintained but is fenced off so you can’t get near it (totally understandable)! You’re clearly still able to photograph it easily through the fence and I wish my pictures did justice on just how large of an art piece this is!

Wonderful experience! This was, by far, my favorite part of visiting Dallas. You can’t get close enough to touch it but it’s a great addition to the area, very interesting to see. Definitely catches your attention.

The eyeball itself was really cool. As far as getting to it, forget it. All the gates are locked and by no means do not try and enter through the black gate which is the back to forty five ten. We didn’t realize this. It was an open gate to a park lot that connects to the grassy area the eyeball is at. We no longer walked through the gate that some guy popped out and rudely told us to leave we were on private property. Absolutely rude and a let down

It was cool to see but as many others mentioned, you cannot get close to it. There is a fence surrounding the whole park so you can only take pictures from afar. So yeah, cool to see but also a little bit of a bummer.

It definitely catches you off guard at first since it’s ginormous and right in the middle of the city but it is a pretty cool thing to walk by and see his worth go. Look for your extra blocks if you’re in downtown to check out. It wasn’t too crowded when I went, but there were a good amount of people taking pictures from a different angles

This is a big 👁 eyeball. There’s a fence so you can’t get too close, although I did see some intrepid kids cross the barrier fairly easily for a quick selfie. Area nearby felt safe and had food foot traffic on a Monday night.

Pretty cool!! There was no event or display setup so we didn’t get on the grounds! It was a super gorgeous day out so we loved the pics! Recommend for sightseeing for sure. There wasn’t a crowd by the fence either. We took pictures, video and it wasn’t a rush.

It's honestly an amazing sight to see from a distance or up close it's honestly still to my core one of the bright and shiny pieces of downtown Dallas the best time to go would be right in the middle of the night comfortable around homeless people because there are quite a few in Downtown Dallas you see them walking around at all hours and they sleep in every doorstep. As a person who's been homeless in Dallas myself it's extremely painful to see people in poverty sleeping in front of the Neiman Marcus the wealth Gap in Dallas is brutal and it's unforgiving this city does not take care of their homeless the giant eyeball in the dead of the night has always been something super comforting to me just because I've always liked the obscurity of it and I've always thought that the architecture in the building surrounding it make it more than just a close-up attraction taking into consideration all the buildings around it really does become something Larger than Life in regards to my autism in motion. It's worth seeing. If your exploring downtown you'll walk by it at some point.

    Beautiful park for The Joule

  • 5/5 Gerald H. 1 year ago on Google
Unique site that will take only a couple of minutes to see (pun intended). There is no direct access to the grassy area so the eyeball is viewed from the street. I randomly discovered it walking in the area so I asked the valet at the Joule Hotel across the street what was the story with it. As the story goes the owner of the Joule was rejected to build a parking garage for the hotel because it would be an "eyesore." The owner had money and a sense of humor so installed a huge eyeball!

Cool art exhibit, but you can't get very close, it's fenced off. This started in Chicago, where I missed out on seeing it. Then, it briefly appeared in Saint Loius before it made the journey to Dallas.

Very cool. Kinda odd, to have a huge eyeball just sitting there staring at you. It is gated off, so you can't go near it. But you can get some nice pics

  • 5/5 Mark Wilber (. 1 year ago on Google
You won't believe it. It is absolutely huge and it's giant. Definitely bigger than a car. Indefinitely with seeing if you're not scared-however I wonder about the really expensive condominiums and apartments that face the eyeball now and what they think about it. It certainly has changed the view

Unique piece of public art in the middle of downtown. The sculpture itself is located in a garden on private property with a fence and No Trespassing sign. You can take pictures from the outside of the fence. Sometimes there are events on the lawn that you can buy tickets to and see the art up close. Be mindful that there are many homeless people in the area. Parking is a challenge, but there is a garage nearby and public transit on the DART train. A major attraction in Dallas and cool place to come and take fun photos and selfies in the city.

  • 4/5 R4F4 8 months ago on Google
What to say about the Giant Eyeball? It is a very cool attraction in downtown-uptown Dallas. It is very realistic and eye-catching, pun intended. A drawback is that it was closed, no indication on where to enter or where to buy tickets, as it seems to be a paid attraction, but you can take pictures over the fence. All in all, I recommend it.

  • 3/5 Dre M. 7 months ago on Google
Pretty cool structure to see, but it's gated off and closed to the public so you're not able to get very close to it. There are days that events are hosted and you can purchase tickets to enter the lawn. It's in downtown Dallas so there are quite a few homeless people that hang around in the area.

Very interesting piece of art! It's ginormous and very intimidating 😳 It reminds me of that song 🎵 I always feel like somebody's watching me🎵 lol. I attended a recent event for Earth Day, and it was a very whimsical and interactive experience. I don't know what a typical visit to the eye would cost you, but it's definitely a must-see.

Stopped here over the weekend. Neat little oddity stop. Since it's close to the holidays, downtown was lit up. Music was going on nearby. There was a festival of some kind going on in the park. Glad we stopped!

This is a really interesting sight! Pun intended! Lol a Giant eyeball! It is a private property so it was gated but you are able to get some cool pictures above the gate and a closer view from the side. I would have preferred it to be open but it was still really cool to see. Im pretty sure it looks really cool at night too. You can't go in or get too close to the eye but then again you get better pics from further away. This is such a different sculpture and a must see when you're visiting. Def stop by and check it out and remember you're being watched! 👀🤭🤣
