Great place for a walk/run I ended up walking at least 6 miles by just looking around and enjoying the area. All long the area there are restaurants, hotels, a place to stop and use kayaks, peddle boat ext definitely a place to try out.

Gorgeous and peaceful place to walk!! Wish they would make it into another San Antonio River walk by adding more restaurants and stores around it. It sucks that all buildings seem to be empty and it's dark in pretty areas. We still enjoyed the walk. It was peaceful and Gorgeous!!!

Mandalay canal reminds me of Paris. This place is truly amazing!. We went there for a stroll during Mother's day and I was captivated. It's clean, with good breeze and fascinating views that is perfect for taking pictures for different occasions. When we visited the place last Spring, there were a couple of people taking photoshoots. We love the place so much!

This is such a fantastic place for captioning special moments. The layout is epic for picture taking. The photographer for my daughter's senior pics was able to utilize various backgrounds to help pull together the perfect pictures. I absolutely love the atmosphere. This place is very inviting and it seems to be the go to place for photographers and those wanting to make memories through the lens.

The Mandalay Canal Walk at Las Colinas is a charming and picturesque location that offers a delightful experience for visitors. Located in Irving, Texas, this waterfront promenade is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its beauty and tranquility. One of the most appealing aspects of the Mandalay Canal Walk is its stunning setting. The walkway is lined with vibrant flowers, well-manicured lawns, and elegant palm trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The canal itself is a sight to behold, with crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding architecture and providing a sense of calm. Walking along the Mandalay Canal, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking views and take in the well-designed buildings that flank the water. The area showcases an impressive blend of modern and traditional architecture, with a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops offering a range of dining and shopping options. The canal walk is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and there are plenty of benches along the way where visitors can sit and relax while watching the ducks and swans glide through the water. The pedestrian-friendly path is well-maintained, making it ideal for families with strollers or individuals in wheelchairs. The Mandalay Canal Walk truly comes alive in the evening when the sunset paints the sky with vibrant hues. The ambiance is enhanced by the soft lighting that illuminates the pathway, creating a romantic and enchanting atmosphere. It's a great place for couples to take a romantic walk or for photographers to capture some stunning shots. One downside to note is that the area can get crowded during peak times, particularly on weekends. However, even with the increased foot traffic, the charm of the Mandalay Canal Walk remains intact. Visitors may have to navigate around larger crowds but can still find pockets of tranquility to enjoy. Overall, the Mandalay Canal Walk at Las Colinas is a delightful destination that offers a peaceful and scenic experience. Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll, a romantic setting, or a place to unwind, this picturesque waterfront promenade is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for the potential crowds, especially on busy days.

Such a beautiful place! It is so peaceful out there to go for a walk, sit down, and share stories. The place is surrounded by some beautiful buildings, and trees with the canal in between. They have pedal boats to have a look around along the canal. The only complaint is that the canal water is not clean, and you may smell a bad odor coming from it at times. Must try a visit.

I always enjoy the Mandalay Canal it is my work out spot and my peace. I love to take pictures and videos. It was very nice out when I went last Sunday There weren't very many people there. I was surprised. I saw a few people on the Gondolas. I can't believe I still haven't been on any of the boats. I plan on checking out the 🦒 boat real soon.

This was one of my favorite spots during the day and night simply because the view is so amazing. The canals make you feel like your walking around Venice, Italy. There's free street parking if you can find a spot.

We went in the evening and saw many people taking photos for special events. It's a very nice pleasant place. You can ride a gondola up and down the river. There a few restaurants near the canal. Overall, a nice place.

This was a very pleasant relaxing walking experience despite the heat today. Definitely will be back during the evening and in the fall when it's cooled off. Nice restaurants and friendly folks all around. Water is beautiful and buildings have an old world feel to them.

Very nice canal and a beautiful place to take pics. Wasn't crowded at all. Very few people was there when I went (but I went on a weekday). Didn't pay a fee to walk through. Highly recommend visitors to go to when in Dallas...
