Where do I begin…we were on the 21st floor and the elevators didn’t work when we came back from our evening out. We had to walk up 21 flights of stairs with our 9 and 6 year old. Valet staff mocked us as we started the trek. After we made the 21 flights, and I could hear something besides my heart pounding in my my ears, I started hearing really loud dance music. As it turns out there is an adjacent hotel that has a rooftop bar which kept us up until 3am. When we tried to get a different room the front desk staff was rude and refused to offer any solutions. Upon waking the next day on about 3 hours of sleep I found only 1 packet of regular coffee. The rest of the packets were decaf. When I went to the elevators to find more regular coffee, I find that the elevators are still not working. So after a sleepless night we now have to walk down 21 flights of stairs with 4 suitcases and 2 children. But at least no one mocked us on the way down. Marriott normally delivers a great experience but this one hurt my feelings. Oh and the bathroom door didn’t close.

Let's say that the staff needs training! I stayed here for three nights. First of all, every time you call, you're greeted with "Please hold.". It's best to walk downstairs, which isn't always convenient. Additionally, the lock on my room door was broken, and maintenance took forever to inform me of the situation or to update the front desk staff. It was necessary for me to propose to them that I get a new room, which they agreed to do. Packing and moving to another floor wasn't ideal since I'm pregnant. After that, I requested a late check-out. As my request could be bumped, I was told to request later. Let's fast forward to the day of my check out. There is no water in the shower when I go to take a shower. There is no running water! After reporting it to Constance, she was unconcerned. After explaining that this has been my worst stay: the ringing phones and hold times, moving rooms, and no water, I was irritated. Then I bring up the late accommodation. She harshly told me she couldn't help me since I didn't book through Marriott. Accusing me of passive aggression! Yes, she spoke to me that way. After I asked the GM and Marriott about this incident, I was told they could only give me until 12/12:30pm, not 1pm, due to bookings. Nearly two hours have passed. There is still no water to shower with. Don't stay here, it is expensive and you won't be satisfied with the service.

One of the most professional Residence Inn’s that I have ever been to. Awesome breakfast, ease of access to downtown Dallas. They were doing road construction in the area, and it didn’t detract one bit from our stay. Whether you’re in for business, with family, or on vacation, I recommend it.

If you are staying away from a day or multiple this places has all your needs and wants! Very clean and maintained, they offer dinning and a free breakfast with a large variety. The barmaid was extremely friendly and welcoming as well as the front desk! You could tell the employee enjoyed their job. We didn’t get to use the pool but you should know it’s heated!! The $24 price for parking is worth the views and hospitality! It’s a great price to pay to know your vehicle is housed safely in a parking garage vs on the street. They also offer Amazon packaging delivery to the downstairs area where they have the Amazon lockers. The kitchenette was ideally stocked and it made for a great home away from home! We traveled with two little ones and they enjoyed the spacious rooms! We will return!

When we got the hotel on the 21st at around 3, the lady at the front on the 1st floor told us that the valet was $42 for the whole stay. We asked her multiple times just to clarify before choosing valet. We paid $47 that night before retrieving the car, but the next morning when we tried to retrieve the car again, it said that we had to pay again. We went down to the front desk to check, and the same lady told us that it was $42 per night. We all felt very frustrated because what she told us when we got there was completely different from that second morning. Later, she told us that she would ask the valet people to not charge us for the valet, but she never did. We found that she was very familiar with the valet guys. We didn’t feel respected while we were downstairs figuring out the whole situation. She was talking with the valet guys and looking over at us, giggling, obviously not asking them about the situation. That ruined our whole day. We later had to pay in cash for the whole three days. My family honestly loved the hotel. It was very clean and elegant. But the whole parking fiasco kind of ruined our whole stay. This was our only vacation for the whole year and it was ruined because of this. I rarely write reviews, but this one needed one. I hope the hotel will pay attention to these details.

For whatever reason out from never got cleaned during our stay. They did give us fresh towels after two requests. Jenny and the other front desk staff were outstanding. Good dinner recommendation including pecan lodge BBQ.

We came here for a weekend to celebrate a birthday in the family and had a great experience. Can't think of a single negative thing. This was the best hotel room we've ever had, which had everything you need. We were impressed that the kitchen was fully stocked with things so you didn't need to get anything but food and water. We had a great time.

I had a great time during my stay here. The room was clean and well-stocked. The location was centrally located to many restaurants and coffee shops. The service was fast, and they were friendly.

Awesome Hotel! Service is top notch! Firstly, the staff is great especially Arthur! They are very welcoming and helpful in every process from check in and check out! They answered my numerous questions and give great recommendations on restaurants around the hotel. The bar downstairs is also great! I really enjoyed spending time there and it has a great atmosphere. The pool is also wonderful especially since it is quite large and indoor. Lastly, the rooms are also very spacious and very modern/high quality. They also have great amenities in the room such as an electric stove, dishwasher, and a fridge. I loved my stay here and definitely recommend!

Great spacious rooms, elevators were high tech and interesting. Great views and The breakfast had the best variety I have seen at a hotel breakfast. We will definitely be back!

Took awhile to get our rooms. And one of the bar tenders was just ok. You'd think with it being slow he'd of been a little more into making money. Breakfast had great choices. Rooms were clean and big. Had afloat a full kitchen.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family (two kids). Amazing service by John at the front desk, very kind and helpful person. I had the suite with 2 beds and a sofa and it was super spacious, modern, and located in central Dallas. A good area, close to everything, there is some homeless people near by but let’s be honest which downtown area in the US is homeless-free? None. The area is fine. And the free breakfast is delicious and convenient! I give them 4 stars bc the cleaning crew didn’t clean my room once. Wish they did :/

Room was great and clean, and the breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. However....check in is at 3, and when arrived at 4, our rooms were still not ready. So we had to wait another while longer to get into our rooms. Then, we unfortunately had one of our family members get hurt during the trip and was unable to walk during checkout. We called to see if they had a wheelchair available, they did not. We had to resort to using one of the rolling chairs in the room to get my mother down to check out and out to the valet parking. We were then warned by the receptionist, very non-compassionately I might add, that we would have to make sure to get that chair back to the room or we would be charged for it. Instead of trying to help us, or showing the slightest bit of concern, we were admonished. Very unfortunate experience.

The parking is outrageous. You are forced to use valet, and pay daily even if you are staying a week. Cannot charge it to your room unless you buy some stupid parking package through the hotel....that isn't advertised. Breakfast is horrible. If you are working, don't stay here, wifi is out constantly, no hard line connection....nothing. I've stayed here a few times before, each was fine until the last 2. It's gone way down hill and not worth the over 300 a night for a hard bed, bad couch and horrible parking.

The first place I stayed after arriving to the US! While that's a good enough reason to develop a sentimental attachment to it, but even neutrally, the hotel is nothing less than great! Clean and well-kept rooms, polite and helpful room service and it's location in Downtown let's you have quick access to all places of significance within Dallas! Stay here and have fun! (Keep your Bonvoy id handy!)

Rooms were perfect very updated, only problems I had with the hotel were the elevator wasn't your normal call for the elevator get in select a floor. When you called the elevator you selected a floor which was great but during peak hours you couldn't get a elevator to go where you wanted. Wish they would have turned down our room every night, you have to request the maid service to come. Which when staying for 4 nights you think they would automatically come every day. Breakfast food was great, coffee was a little watery but luckily a Starbucks was right next door.

Rooms were clean big and spacious. Night time desk clerk very friendly. Kind of confusing having 2 hotels in one. Was noisy from the night life and didn't quiet down until about 2 am. Was told by valet that public parking was across the street in the back but that our car would not be safe. Would only be safe if we used valet parking and would be parked under hotel and locked in the valet parking area. So went with valet parking handed my keys to a Dustin. Valet decided to help themselves to my wallet in my center console and take pictures of my credit/debit cards and have themselves a shopping/online gambling spree. Even though the valet is not ran by the hotel they are a service used by the hotel so took off 2 stars. Would NOT recommend using their valet service if staying here.

The rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was great with options thst appeal to various diets. Host were very nice. Will consider this location next time since visit. One con was valet. The driver obviously ran over a curve while bringing our truck down. There were white streaks on the outer walls of our tires that reveal what happened.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very large with a kitchenette and a sitting area. It has pretty much everything for your long term stay. WiFi signal was very strong throughout the entire hotel. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options. The business center has 2 PCs that you can use to print boarding passes or anything else. Valet service costs $42 + tax, but looks like it's provided by a different company so you pay for it separately (the charge will not appear on your bill and you will not accumulate Bonvoy points for it). The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is centrally located downtown with lots of restaurants around. They serve breakfast in the morning & that's a plus. The rooms have a full kitchen so you can prepare your meals so you won't have to spend so much buying food. Lastly, the shower is GREAT. The water pressure is EXCELLENT.

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here. Our room was very nice. The huge walk-in shower was my favorite. I called about the heat twice and no one ever came. Thank God we had a kitchen and we took food because there was nothing on the site to let us know that the hotel kitchen and bar were going to be closed for the holidays.

We arrived in Dallas for the first time from Florida, where everything was beautiful. We checked into the Ac Hotel by Marriott in downtown Dallas on 11/23/2022 after being recommended by a friend was not what I expected while traveling with my daughter. Let me say it was not a bad hotel either. However, after the dual hotel general manager, Maurice Kimble learned of my stay after the Thanksgiving holiday that was on Friday and that I had my daughter with me. He kindly showed us two rooms that would accommodate the remaining of my stay in Dallas as I was looking for a new home. First, I would like to say the room was nice the Skyline was beautiful. The hospitality in this hotel was phenomenal. Everyone smiled, and being soft-spoken was a plus. They were willing and ready to serve us at the front desk, bartender and the managers. i am a complicated person but it came easy to this staff to accommodate my family. If I am ever and soon will be back in Dallas, Texas. Residence Inn Downtown Dallas will be a home away from home. I am humble and grateful for there service.

We were in town for conference and picked this hotel. The hotel seems brand new and everything from the lobby, restaurant and room was spotless. We had a one bedroom suite with a separate sleep area as well as a living/dining/kitchen space. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Breakfast was included too.

As soon as I checked in to the Residence Inn, I felt welcomed. Veronica at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile, gave me recommendations for my stay, was extremely helpful and overall gave exceptional service. She made my check in experience feel like I was staying at the Ritz Carlton. Thank you Veronica for making my stay here at the Residence Inn special, I know where I'm staying next time I come back to Dallas!

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to most of the attractions downtown. Unfortunately, that is the best thing about the hotel. This property has some serious quirks. 1. The elevators situation is horrendous. They have a system that is supposed to operate the elevators more efficiently, however it just leads to people getting frustrated and taking the stairs. During busy times, expect a pretty long wait for an elevator. 2. The bathroom is another issue. Our shower curtain was hung so high that it did not serve its purpose of keeping the water in the shower. We ended up having to use several towels each day to dry up the water. The toilet was installed so close to the sink that you literally have to sit on it sideways or your shoulder would hit the countertop. Very uncomfortable and awkward set up. 3. Breakfast...look, i get it...when breakfast is included, then I try not to expect too much. However the setup of breakfast was impossible to deal with. They have the food stations crammed into a small room that people end up bumping into one another. They need to spread this out more. So much wasted space in the dining area that could be used to reorganize the breakfast layout. 4. Also, be warned, there is a hotel next door that has a roof-top bar/club. If you are one of the unfortunate souls that get an east facing room, you are going to hear loud thumping club music all night. Another thing you will battle with an east facing room is the Sun. The room has blackout curtains, but they are no match for the glare of the Dallas sun on a hot summer day. The AC was struggling to keep the room cool. All in all, I would not stay at this place again. I have been a loyal Marriott rewards member for over 15 years and this is easily the most frustrating hotel I have ever stayed at.

Booked this hotel for a trade show in Dallas and the location is great as are the rooms and the property. When I needed to change the room block and check out some team members early, Elita was so helpful and assisted with making those changes without any additional charge. She even called me back to follow up. Definitely recommend this property.

King Studio Suite was perfect for my family's needs. Room was clean, neat, and modern updated. All amenities operational. Staff service was Excellent. Valet service was above and beyond. This location should be proud of their staff for the level of service they provide.

Not only is the hotel beautiful, the staff handled everything with care and friendliness. The valet parking was amazing and convenient. They took care of our car and our personal items. The lobby was clean and the decorations were new and modern. The free breakfast was delicious and hot, they had a wide variety of options to choose from. The room we stayed in was the studio one king and couch. The room was spacious and very clean. The pillows and bed were goose feathered and soooo comfortable. The bathroom was tidy and neat, the shower was amazing we had hot water the entire time.. 10/10 Me and my husband are definitely going to stay here again when we come back to Dallas.

Beautiful hotel; clean, comfortable bed, nice shower, good TV, nice downtown view, large fridge & microwave... Could easily spend 2+ weeks living in this room by myself maybe up to 5 days with spouse. They even had very good oatmeal on their complementary breakfast buffet. Good breakfast buffet overall. My one complaint is the coffee maker in the room was cheap to the point of being almost useless.
