If
you
want
to
have
a
"resort"
not
tell
you
they
are
having
plumbing
issues,
and
apparently
have
been,
where
you
can
smell
it
in
the
lobby,
the
hallway
of
the
second
floor,
the
bar,
the
spa
in
the
basement,
then
this
is
the
place
for
you.
They
are
honestly
masking
the
smell
of
the
plumbing
with
the
attempted
aromatic
scent
in
there.
I
doubt
they
would
have
that
otherwise.
I
honestly
don’t
know
if
the
conditions
are
up
to
health
code.
It
is
immediate
when
the
door
is
opened
to
the
lobby,
getting
on
and
off
the
elevators,
definitely
in
the
spa
downstairs.
I
asked
one
of
the
employees
who
was
assigned
to
opening
and
closing
the
door
one
day
about
it,
and
he
claimed
he
couldn’t
smell
it.
They
are
not
informing
guests
before
you
book
nor
acknowledging
it
at
check
in,
basically
at
all
during
my
stay.
The
bar
tender
did
acknowledge
it
after
I
brought
it
up
and
said,
“I
have
to
deal
with
it
everyday.”
Like
it’s
something
I
should
just
be
okay
with
and
accept
it?
I
guess
that’s
what
they
tell
their
employees?
There
was
no
apology.
They
are
not
offering
any
kind
cancellation
waivers
for
the
issue(s)
at
check-in
nor
during
booking.
They
are
charging
full
prices
and
operating
as
everything
is
normal.
The
hotel
will
acknowledge
it
after
you
leave
a
bad
review
after
your
stay.
They
claim
they
have
engineers
looking
at
it.
After
scrolling
through
other
reviews,
it's
apparent
this
issue
has
existed
for
three
years
at
least.
Wish
I
would’ve
seen
that
before
my
stay.
Regarding
golf
and
other
aspects,
if
you
want
to
pay
unique
rates
for
not
too
unique
of
an
experience,
go
ahead.
The
greens
are
nice
but
by
10:30am
they
were
pretty
roughed
up
without
a
lot
of
attempts
to
repair
marks.
Otherwise,
it
didn’t
feel
special.
It
felt
like
a
pretty
nice
municipal
course
in
a
suburb.
They
offer
apples,
bananas,
tees,
wet
hand
towels,
as
a
comp.
The
marshall
will
tell
you
where
to
hit
the
ball
on
a
couple
of
holes
if
you
haven't
played
there
before.
For
$250?
Room
service
was
outrageous.
$70
for
a
salty
turkey
sandwich,
salty
sweet
potato
fries
and
a
glass
of
chardonnay.
The
valet
is
apparently
outsourced
and
isn't
familiar
with
or
doesn't
understand
the
hotel
business.
I
was
basically
told
the
check
in
bay
is
for
valet
only.
I
was
self-parking,
so
I
was
then
made
to
pull
over
to
the
side,
almost
out
of
the
bay
behind
a
golf
cart
where
I
had
to
back
up
to
get
out,
and
hand
over
my
keys
while
I
checked
in
in
case
my
vehicle
needed
to
be
moved
for
valet
service.
This
was
at
7:45pm
on
a
Friday
with
no
one
in
the
lobby
checking
in
and
no
one
else
pulling
in
the
bay
beside
me.
The
pool
staff
ran
loud
maintenance
pumps
as
early
as
7:00
am
on
Saturday
and
Sunday,
during
winter
with
the
pool
unoccupied.
They
continued
to
run
them
even
after
I
called
guest
services
to
ask
if
they
could
run
them
later
in
the
day.
They
continued
until
about
8:00
am
both
days.
The
“resort”
fees
were
over
$200,
and
I
believe
more
than
my
initial
confirmation
email
indicated.
They
don’t
offer
bell
hop/bag
service,
and
if
you're
self-parking
be
prepared
to
enjoy
carrying
your
luggage
maybe
a
football
field
or
more
(if
on
the
top
floor
of
the
garage)
back
to
the
hotel.
Maybe
you
could
gamble
and
leave
it
at
the
front
with
the
valet
who
doesn’t
want
you
there
unless
you
valet.
This
didn't
feel
like
resort
treatment
nor
a
resort
really.
I
guess
a
pool
is
a
resort?
I
was
given
free
champagne,
once.
That
is
the
only
thing
that
was
resort
like,
the
whole
time.
It
felt
a
little
tacky,
tasteless,
irritating,
lazy.
The
appearance
of
this
hotel
is
outdated,
including
the
inside
of
the
rooms.
I
was
offered
a
partial
refund
after
my
Marriott
review
and
discussion
of
it
over
the
phone
with
someone
with
guest
services..
