Do you miss your childhood? Crave neon lights, low ceilings, and mission brown? Look no further. Largely untouched since the 1980s, At Gladstone Park Shopping Centre, you can experience an authentic vintage shopping mall. Step back in time and visit one of the only remaining Dimmeys stores in Victoria. Grab yourself a bargain at the very popular $2 Superstore, and finish it all off with a flat white at the OG Michel's Patisserie. Just watch out for the leaky roof on rainy days!

An older suburban shopping centre. Plenty of free parking and lots of stores, including a Woolworths, BWS, IGA, newsagents, chemists, plenty of cafes, specially stores and gift shops. There are many entrances coming in from different sides of the shopping centre into a circuit which encircles the entire shopping centre. Public toilets are available & Wheelchair access is quite easy. You can even find a place to get your keys cut.

Nestled in the heart of the city, our shopping center is a true gem for those seeking a delightful retail experience. With its elegant architectural design, a symphony of modern aesthetics, and a touch of timeless charm, this shopping center is a destination that beckons shoppers from far and wide. As you approach, you're greeted by a grand entrance, adorned with lush landscaping and inviting seating areas. The exterior facade combines sleek, contemporary lines with tasteful accents, setting the tone for the elegance that awaits inside.

Love this shopping centre. I am not from this area, but was passing through. I haven't been here for ages. It has lots of variety shops, that are much more then $2 shops. Will drive back to this area so I can shop again.

Major refurbishment of this centre is exceptionally overdue. Incredibly dated and does not meet the needs of the growing area. Pretty embarrassing.

Look, I know there really isn't anyone at fault here, but there are three main demographic that frequent this place... 1. The elderly, who walk so slow everywhere they go and take up whatever walkway they're on, preventing anyone from getting around them, they usually don't even know what they need or want when they're there so they end up being in people's way and they can't possibly wrap their heads around the self checkout at Woolies for the life of them, yet they consistently persist at trying to use it, which subsequently wastes so much of other people's time, but at the same time if they go to a normal checkout, essentially it's like they're there to be an inconvenience to others. 2. The disrespectful derelict teens, most likely coming to and from the highschool across the road, constantly loud, obnoxious and cringey. 3. The "junkie" looking kind of person, who is really just an older version of the teenagers. As well as all of that, it is a bit of a dilapidated mess of a shopping centre and could really use a nice overhaul on the overall look and feel on the inside, as well as a more simplistic car park layout.

Reasonable services available but not much else in offer on the whole. They have Aldi and Woolworths and many little shops and eating stalls. Nothing spectacular or new, and it may need a lift. Some medical and optometrist services available are newer than the rest. I saw the centre management office too so that you can find all the shops in one go.

This place has a few services you would expect from a mall, supermarket, '$2 shop' etc. The problem is the place looks very dingy, dirty and uncared for.. lots of vacant store fronts when I was there suggesting this mall has seen better days. That being said the services that are there perform about as well as expected in relation to the surrounding area.

Always nostalgic to stop by. Reminds me of when I use to come shopping here with my parents. It would be good if the owner spent money to upgrading some of the interiors to liven up the spaces. Good offering of specialty shops and big brand names. Woolsworth, BWS, Aldi, Commonwealth Bank, medical and health centres.

Pretty trippy. Just like being in a late 80's early 90's time warp. This is a place where modern decor has not yet been implemented in any way shape or form. Check it out to see what shops looked like 30 years ago!

It has a great clinic on the roof top and one of the doctor is from Glenroy clinic and also has some shops inside the centre down the bottom also a hotel next to the shopping centre and plenty of parking too

What struck me was the amount of tacky shops here. Weird mob in this neck of the woods and the mall is like a maze of chromosomes gone wrong. There's an Aldi, woolies and a fruit shop deli, too many hair and nail places a few tat shops, smoke shops and tatts oh and banks realestate. Nothing flash

This shopping center has come along way since I first lived in Tullamarine, its much cleaner, the shops themselves are decent you can get gourmet food, ciggys, alcohol, the Safeway is huge with nice staff, the aldi likewise very large, clean and friendly staff. Toilets are clean, child play area is neat, and finally it has a more than ample car park, plus of course the pub with pokies venue.. A really nice shopping center, and I set out to do it no favors so was impressive to see a really positive change for the old place :)

I went at 7am to beat the crowds. Aldi and many other stores were still closed. Safeway way fully operational. Plenty if close parking available. Lots of rubbish in the car park making the area unpleasant.

I liken this place to a shopping mall you would find in a third world country. The carpark is always dirty and full of pot holes. The shops are very random however there is a Woolies, Aldi & Big Fields which are worth the visit.

It's great ,it hasa Woolies, bootleshops, you can go and get coffee and cake. There is also a discount pharmacy and a medical Centre. Aslo has a couple.of other little shops. It's great for when you don't need to go to a major shopping centre to do everything.

Has a good variety of food and grocery options. (Woolworths and Aldis). Has several small vendors. Heath and beauty, Hairdresser's, barbers, $2 dollar store, cigarette shops etc. Lots of cars park spaces. Including disabled and pram allocated parking spots. Only downfall it needs a major facelift/ renevations both internally and externally to suit the ever changing surround area

I found the carpark and shopping centre were very grotty but that could be fixed easily enough if they removed all the rubbish more often and improved general maintenance around the place but the range of shops and quality of the food in the takeaway shops was very good.

Would have to be the most run down shopping centre in Melbourne! Although the quaint little shops inside are quite good with a Woolworths and Aldi.

Truly needs updating. Very old, run-down and smelly. Doesnt have any franchised shops within either. All small $2 shops and non authentic branded cloth shops.

Super outdated shopping mall however you do get a sense of nostalgia when you visit this place. Also some of the bargains you will find here you won't find anywhere else. For me the food and local eateries in the shopping here are dirt cheap and value for money.

I'm not a huge fan, it feels like it's stuck in the 80s. There isn't much other than grocery items. It's always rather clean and the staff are nice, just very dilapidated.

  • 3/5 low-key a. 2 years ago on Google
Decent shopping centre but is need of an immediate renovation like the building's 40 years old but it does its job as being the main shopping centre for a small suburb

  • 5/5 Nate 3. 2 years ago on Google
A lot of people are complaining about the outdated design, but in my opinion, the 80's aesthetic gives the place it's character. Most malls built around this time would've gone through several redesigns and modernisations over the years, and it's incredibly rare to see somewhere that's been preserved in all of it's original glory. I can't understand how an 'outdated' look can get in the way of your shopping experience. If the place was poorly maintained or dirty, that would be a different story, but despite it's old look, all the facilities you'd expect in a modern day shopping mall are there. If this place was losing traffic and was full of vacant stores, I could see the need for some modernisation, but I've been here a few times and it's been buzzing with activity with plenty of open storefronts. I would come here for the 80's aesthetic alone.

Bot one of the largest centres I've been to. Parking is pretty good, just stay away from this place between 8.30 -9.30 am and 2.30-4.30 weekdays because there's two schools very close by and because of side street size, traffic really sucks at these times. Not all shops are open but there's woolies and Aldi's and others. The chicken shop is cheap and the food rocks!

Yes it's an older shopping centre without much variety, but for a local shopping centre I love how easy it is to find parking and to run in and out for all the basic necessities. Access from any entrance is okay due to the size of the centre.

This shopping center needs an entire refurnish. Anytime it rains, we are faced with large leaks from the roof and you spend ages dodging buckets around the floor. Gladstone park has become a nice family neighborhood in the last few years, we need a nice family shopping center to pair with it. Please upgrade it.

  • 4/5 Ebony B. 1 year ago on Google
Don't know it very well but it has an Aldi, woolworths, numerous food outlets that seem to be good quality, medicalservices, CPR training, Florists, variety & nice clothing shops, Millers, a large fruiterer, a furniture store or two & a lot more ? (No Kmart, Target or Bigw ) The carpark & building need a bit of upgrading , but probably have what you need. Next to Gladstone Park hotel which is nicely decorated & across the road from McDonald's and Hungry Jacks.

Not a bad place to hangover before or after your Airport trips. The design and layout is stuck in the 80s which needs a serious facelift. It's got some decent parking spots and some good coffee and zaater shops. Good place to grab a quick coffee and bite before you hit the highway.
