    Probably the worst McDonald's in the northside, hands down. Who thought it would be a good idea to put a 24/7 Maccas OFF a main road INSIDE a tight homemaker centre?! With three possible carpark entrances to the drive thru, it is extremely hard to get in and out, especially on weekends. On the first occasion, I ordered a big breakfast order via my phone and picked up in store. The app crashed at checkout, so my 20% off the entire order didn't work. The staff didn't really care because it wasn't their fault. I thought fine, it's busy, let it slide, it was breakfast time anyway. Got home, gave out all the McMuffin's and pancakes to my hungry mates, and was left with the bacon and egg McMuffin with NO bacon or egg, just the muffin. Love this for me. On the second occasion, I went to the drive through early in the morning (2:45am) to be told that the "ordering systems were down for the next 25-30 minutes". I have never experienced this at any McDonald's in my life. Broken ice-cream machines? Sure. Out of McHappy Meal toys? Better for the environment. But when the whole system is down with six employees standing about?! 👎 I think the universe is telling me not to eat Maccas but I will never go to Dalton Rd Maccas again.

    I don't really have McDonald's often but whenever I do the food is always disappointing. Portion sizes keep getting smaller, prices keep going up , and the quality of the food is so hit and miss. Cold fries , burgers burnt, drink has no ice or too much ice. MacDonald's is meant to be fast, convenient, quality, value for money food , it missed all of those except for fast .

    We spent money on our food but ended up with getting those burnt muffin which I don’t think is good for health. Plus we ordered shaker fries but got wrong things. definitely not come back again. Can’t be more DISAPPOINTED

    I saw one of the delivery drivers (old age man) come in store to pick up food and he just wanted to make sure if that’s the whole bag that was left by the staff and he asked the same girl because first time she didn’t even look and said yes and second time she just yes but it was SO SO RUDE. I feel bad for the man and yes please you need to treat everyone with respect. Bringing down Maccas reputation I would say.

    Attended this restaurant at 30 Dalton Rd, Thomastown VIC 3074, it took 20 minutes to get my meal, the chips where cold and under cooked. The state of the restaurant was disgraceful, their restrooms were cleaner.

    A good Maccas outlet. Visited there a couple of times, this morning we went there for a brekkie as family, ordered stuuff, but noted that the drivewy is getting priority and the people within the shop is waiting for some serious times there. I think they have to review their processes and priorities on the delivery plans on driveway and in house customers. All good otherwise

    Absolutely putrid food and horrendous staff/management. From raw oily chips or cardboard (often mixed), to literally squashed burgers that have been dipped in an entire lake of oil, it’s disgusting. The staff are clueless and have no courtesy for any of their customers.

    There were two of us, ordered fish burgers. Food comment: 1/5. First fish burger was very dry, there was some black powder on top of the cold burger bun. Same for the second fish burger, some black powder on top of the cold bun but the worts is that the fish fillet wasn’t fully cooked, heaps of extremely hot liquid came out of it and it burnt me several times. Please see the liquid in the first photo, there was more on the tissue but I decided to squeeze them out so that I could eat. Half of the fries were not eatable, very hard and crunchy inside out. They must have been fried too many times. Service comment: 4/5. Great customer service, I think the front line staffs are nice but they just don’t have enough staffs. Maybe. So, because of that, I don’t want to complain to them over the counter, they have other things to do like, probably should clean up the place. Atmosphere comment: 0/5. This is simply the worst McDonald’s we have been to out of nearly twenty countries. See the photos, it was not busy, not many customers, but heaps of rubbish and wasted food everywhere. The environment is just so unhygienic, can you imagine the kitchen?

    Every time we ask for a toy Happy Meal we get a book meal. If they’ve run out they should tell us to avoid disappointment for the kids. But I don’t think they’ve run out, I think they just don’t care or compute and give you what they want to give you. Also drive through staff are super unmotivated.

    Ordered an Iced Chocolate with 2 extra spoons drinking chocolate. It didn’t even come with the usual spoon of drinking chocolate. There was no whipped cream or chocolate syrup either. It was just disgusting. Milk with ice. Update: went again and got iced chocolate but without whipped cream. Disappointing.

    We wanted to get coffee and be in our way. But that cost us more than 15 mins. Idk why the drive way jammed and the coffee order was punched wrong. When we asked to correct the order. We were handed a cold coffee. They just poured the coffee on another cup and handed it to us. For receipt you would need to wait at the waiting bay. Why? Overall expect the unexpected at this Joint.

    Don't go during the weekend, staff are hopeless. We have gone during the week before and we usually get really nice and fresh food but today was an utter disappointment. Was told to park in the waiting bay and waited 10 minutes to have on of their staff come out and ask what I had ordered. After repeating my order again several times we waited another 10 minutes to finally get our good. The chips were cold and old. Our burgers were fine but my fiance's caesar salad was just depressing. Cold chicken, no tomatoes and a very small serving of Mayonnaise. We got coffee which just tasted like got water with a shot of coffee and we had ordered lattes.

    This morning they legit took 12 minutes for a cup of coffee that I ordered through drive through , I was directed to waiting bay and I could see cars behind me were already served coffee while I waited , after long waiting I get my coffee all cold not even warm where I ordered extra hot , when I asked the staff reason she tells me “RELAX “ What the heck , this is how you treat customers , it was a white girl with check shirt , she was horrendous!!!! Never going to this MacDonalds again !

    What an absolute shambles this place is. Went for lunch and had to wait 25 minutes for a burger meal and other food. It finally turned up cold. Then had to wait another 20 minutes for a replacement, by this time everything else was cold. The management don’t seem to give a f••k about being able to run a restaurant. I had to clean the table myself, the bins were overflowing, there was old food and rubbish all over the tables and floor. Staff were as helpful as a chocolate teapot. People should save the wasted time at this place and go to hungry jacks across the road.

    If l could l would rate this place Zero stars. Ordered Large frozen coke was given cup that was half filled and it was coke that was in a small cup and thrown into a large cupping. They are recycling their coke at this place. Disgusting and unhygienic behaviour! Watch for potential food poisoning at this place.

    Rest rooms and store were filthy. Staff rude and just pushed order across so she could hurry to someone picking up delivery orders. They did get our order correct but that is the only good thing I could say.

    Took 20 minutes to make a coffee was not busy they were too busy talking amongst themselves, made the wrong coffee, forgot my toastie, made it but made the wrong one. Can’t be that hard surely !! The younger staff need better training even the manager this morning had no idea what was going on.

    The young lady on the drive through (taking the orders) at 2.27pm on Feb 18, could not understand my order when I was very clear and spoke with a loud voice. It took several attempts to get it correct, including a wrong code being put in, identifying me as "Patrick!" When we approached the window she glared at us, "is this your order?", as if we inconveniencing her and it was clear that she absolutely hates her job and did not want to be there. I am a polite person, I was not unpleasant and there was no reason for her to be like this. I've never been served by someone more blunt and absent in my life. Very disappointing.

    I went to McDonald’s Thomastown with my partner on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 through the drive thru and met Sweety and she made sure our meal was fresh. I also walked in to thank both her and Aanchal for their honesty, time, effort and they were so grateful because most customers never come back in to thank them for their time. We had a lovely chat. I told them, people don’t know how to respect others these days. Just know how to blame so keep your head up. I see your hard work because I used to work at McDonald’s and train staff too. Remember to save your money when working. Respect to McDonald’s Thomastown. Thank you so much. I went to Mcdonalds Thomastown on Friday 14th April 2023. My partner and I were served by Steven the Assistant Store Manager. We bought a large and Angus beef burger meal and a small Mcchicken meal and he made sure our meals were fresh and handed it out to us as well. The food quality was excellent and customer service was great. We would highly recommend this McDonald’s. Good job!

    Honestly the worst customer service from a mcdonalds! They are all standing around chatting and don’t really want to be working! Not the first time this has happened either. Passing the jobs to each other! Over 20mins in drive through! So food was disappointedly cold. None of them had masks on properly!

    Delivers your standard Macca's offerings. Staff mostly friendly except for those in the McCafe end who seemed to not like to be interrupted during their chores with questions. Manager had mask down below his chin and was scratching his beard while filling the food orders - yuck! Food quality was acceptable but the McAngus burger was over sauced causing it to leak all over you when you bite into the burger. This 'over saucing' is becoming quite a habit throughout the chain. Is it a practical joke by the workers or necessary to give the burger some taste? Serviette dispensers are at the serving counter and were overfilled to the point where you could not readily grab one. Low score also because the car park is chaotic and busy serving both Macca's and the businesses next door. I'm sure this perpetual traffic would also effect the drive through flow.

    Disgusting service. I just ordered an iced coffee and I was given garbage with too much sugar and no ice. Absolutely horrible. Will not spend my money here ever again. Management seriously needs to get involved and sort things out. I’ve never seen a McDonald’s as bad as this one.

    Always missing items on Uber eats. Putting sugar syrup in when asked for none and very rude staff on drive-thru. Not letting me place my order without being cut off no greeting or saying have a nice day when customers leave. This store really needs a big change.

    The last 3months those store has got worse and worse they never clean the tables or floors after people leave there seats the bins always over flowing I actually took pictures of this dirty store. There chips are always just warm with no salt there hamburgers are just thrown together roughly meat most of the times hanging out of burger at edge and is very small I got to work out how to post the pictures of this filthy store its disgusting

    Took my son for a chocolate frappe, went in and ordered. After waiting 15 minutes I went and asked how much more time is required to push the button to make a frappe. I was informed that the machine has been playing up all day and wasn't actually working. When I questioned the duty manager why he took my order and money knowing it wasn't working, his response was it should have been fixed. I then asked for a refund and left with a disappointed 7yo.

    Slow and apathetic. The manager was on the floor, meanwhile employees are just hanging around doing not much, talking amongst themselves. All staff had their backs to the counter while I waited and I had to verbally call out to get served. Order took an insane amount of time, meanwhile all the stuff are still having conversations and mucking around. Finally got my order and it was like it was all thrown into a box, not actually prepared.

    Despite the heavy amount of control applied to each franchise Maccas can be very hit and miss as we all know. Credit where credit is due that I have by far the highest success rate with this store. Chips hot and crispy burger fresh and moist. The team obviously works well.

    Walking past on a hot morning. My dog was hot and thirsty. She was panting. I went in and asked for some water for my dog. Without any hesitation, they gave me a cup full for her, which she drank happily. Thank you so much for your kindness.

    It was my first time there actually. The food was so good most especially the Burgers and so on. I highly recommend this place no worries when you can't able to operate through screen for choosing orders some staff never hesitate to ask you if you need a hand. And it's amazing😊

    Ordered Uber Delivery. Food came ice cold. Specifically asked for no onion as I’m allergic and burger came with onion. Given Coke Zero instead of coke and no straws or sauces. Also recently when I’ve gone to this McDonald’s and gone though the drive thru the staff don’t speak to you. Just tell you the total and take your money and drive up to the food collection window and they just give you your order. What happened to have a good afternoon or enjoy your order or even a simple hello. Not sure if management has changed but the past month these guys have seriously gone down hill. Not happy.

    Extremely slow! The service was quite good a month ago but recently its just the worse! Have been waiting for my doordash order for a 20minutes minimum and the guy who is preparing the doordash orders is seen to be just taking it too casually, taking to his coworkers, gossiping and what not! He even got his team member’s order ready within minutes before even serving the long waited customers! Let alone a doordash order! Macdonals should really improve their standards!

    It's a McDonald's, same as every other McDonald's, this one, like many of the other McDonald's stores that I have frequented is grotty, dirty and unkept. Walking to the store entrance was a challenging experience, the carpark and roadway had litter scattered around all over the place. Walking into the McDonald's restaurant was not much better. On walking through the front entrance, I was confronted with the sight of french fries squashed into and all over the floor in the entranceway. Looking around at the floor throughout the restaurant there were similar sights all over the place, bits of food scraps and McRubbish abounded everywhere around. The tables were mostly clean although there were specks of food scraps on some of them. The coffee machine and associated area was putrid, especially dirty were the stainless steel milk frothing jugs. They looked like they hadn't been cleaned in an eternity. The milk was sitting on the bench next to the coffee machine, unrefrigerated and without the lids on the milk containers, for god knows how long. The staff were polite and friendly. The service was quick. On the whole not the dirtiest McDonald's I've been to but it still could be a lot cleaner than it is. Definitely needs work and attention to detail.

    We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 2 hamburgers and some fries. Most of it was okay, but 1 of the cheeseburgers honestly looked like it had been dipped in with the fries. It was dripping and shiny from all the grease all over the outside of the bun. When taking it back to the counter to ask for a new one, we were told that's what all cheeseburgers look like. After repeating that we would like another it was replaced. But why argue?

    I'm not usually one to complain about smoke mistakes, things happen, however I have a terrible dairy allergy and cannot have even a small amount of cheese. As you can see from the photo, the instructions had not been followed. I'd normally double check before leaving but someone else had gotten it for me. Regardless, this shouldn't have happened. Waste of a burger

    I recently visited Mcdonald and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Despite waiting for 15 minutes, no one took my order, which was quite frustrating. The lack of attention to customers was evident, and it didn’t reflect the level of service I expected. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure better customer experiences in the future.

    I am so upset with the way I was treated this afternoon you need to have staff on with better attitudes! This one worker kept staring me down like evil staring me I don't even know her I just wanted to get my food she calls out my 1st order me being me says thankyou with a smile on my face I kid you not she just death stares me down like I'm a dog I'm there for another 20 minutes waiting for a drink so I get annoyed and ask because I was on a work break and needed to hurry back I'm waiting for service this same girl is there just staring doesn't even serve me she's just mucking around someone finally comes to Give me my drink after 20 minutes but I swear that girl and her attitude really annoyed me today rude and impolite. Otherwise I usually like this maccas but I hope I'm never being served by her again!!

    First time been in Thomastown MacDonald this is what happen waited for so long for my food took 45mins next thing I know the self service machine didn’t go through. Then finally got my order after another long wait. When I finally got to home bloody the bacon and egg that u order didn’t have egg inside 😡 u seriously.. can’t you guys do ur job properly I understand all the workers are kids but managers should be watching them and making sure they are doing their job. We are spending so much money and traveling just to get to you guys then our order is not even done properly 🤦🏻‍♀️ so disappointing i will be calling to make sure I get my money back for this.you guys wasted my whole day 🤦🏻‍♀️

    Second visit in three weeks and for the second time, only one lane being served in drive through. Today the car in front of me waited five minutes, then as I waited with another car behind me, the other lane was repeatedly empty but every car that rolled up was served before us. Five cars were served in the other lane while we waited. This is despite me after the second car, trying to politely get their attention by talking to the speaker, and it wasn't until I yelled 'serve the other lane' when the sixth car pull up that a different employee finally served our lane. 10 minutes just to get my order taken.
