A fantastic Korean BBQ. Outstanding customer service with attention to cooking our meat, topping up sides and making sure we had what we need. Great quality food. Sides were delicious too. I've never had mash potato as an appetiser before but it worked. The other appetisers were pretty good too.

Exceptional service and quality ingredients. The team is friendly and helpful. They help you cook it on the hot plates. 2 of the 3 team members showed that extra care as the meat was cooked - they'd move the cook food into the edges and rotate it towards us. We got the premium code to share between 3 people. The meat was good quality and tasted fresh. The 2 selected dishes were also delicious.

The best Korean Bbq restaurant that I have ever had before! The fresh of meat is fantastic, the dishes are all yummy too! The staffs are friendly and help customers to cook, but you also can do by yourself. You can taste the original flavor from their food! Book online only and need to be on time. Highly recommended and definitely 5stars!

The foods of this place really taste like Korean food. In particular, the seafood pancake is crispy and contains a variety of seafood. This is the best seafood pancake I have ever eaten. Other than that, it's delicious as a side dish or soup. The meat is grilled by the staff, so you can eat comfortably and the service is very good. I will go again and have recommended here to my friends

Good food and atmosphere. Hearty soup and tasty beef although the skirt loin was marbled MB9+ it was chewier than expected. Otherwise great experience and authentic bowls to drink the magkeolli from! Note: you get a free beef belly for leaving a Google review but are free to write whatever you want.

I've had several meals here that have consistently been great. It's always best to make a reservation and Google with Quandoo makes this pretty easy now. We always go for the beef or pork set for two, which is more than enough food for two people. You can ask for a free refill for all but the two optional sides, rice, and cheese corn. We always have our fill of the basic sides: fish cake, mashed potatoes, salad greens, pickled radish and kimchi. The best optional side dish we've had is the seafood pancakes; you really can't go wrong with that one! The servers cook the food for you if you aren't keen on doing it yourself, and the venue is small enough to allow a good level of service without having to deliberately catch their attention every time. It's a very casual venue, though the tables can get quite cramped with all the food on them. Chairs also double as containers for your coats or bags. We always feel right at home when we visit. It's definitely our favourite Korean BBQ place close to the Glen and will visit again soon!

Honestly 10/10 not only good food but service too! Food came out in a timely manner, the chicken was crisp and crunchy and had a delicious soy garlic glaze. The cold noodles when paired with a hot bbq-ed meat, is matchmade in heaven. Always a good idea. Meat was delicious and the sets on offer are soooo worth your money! Beef tartare on the pear slice is the perfect bite and I would recommend to anyone who orders it! Due to popularity, the team at BBQ code needed the table back and the way they asked was so kind, so hospitable, so polite, of course it was within their right but they were so nice about it! Worth giving 5 stars for the service alone

The best K-BBQ I’ve been to! We had The Rainbow Platter which was amazing! The wagyu was definitely our favourite meat but we loved the sweet soy flavour on the other meats and I can’t tell you how amazing the corn cheese was 🫶🏼

A really great place for BBQ Korean food. Please make reservation to avoid disappointment. One of the best thing is the meat is grilled by the staff, so you know the meat is cook to perfection. We ordered the beef code and all the meat was just so tendered and nice. Definitely a place worth visiting.

We ordered "Plain cide" walked out very satisfied! Few things have to mention: the great and quick service~ and you can tell the meat are fresh and good quality from the color(Been to another one for few years but…) The place, the round table, the fork and spoon....and even the water container is very clean!!! Extremely enjoyable Korean BBQ! Eye fillet and wagyu steak melted in your mouth! Soft, juicy and the homemade salt was elite. Fried chicken (boneless) were tender, well crumbed and tasted really nice. Decently price for the quality too.

Probably one of if not the best KBBQ restaurant I've been to in Victoria. This was a complete surprise and shock when dining here. Essentially everything on their Premium Code package was well prepared and cooked to perfection. The taste of each meat was truly mouth watery with the choice of selective side dishes too as part of the package. Added dumplings which were perfectly fried and their kimchi pancakes hands down the best I've had. This all definitely fed our group of 3 but most likely can cater for a group of 4 if extra sides were ordered too. The service is absolutely fantastic with staff constantly helping out on the cooking, changing grilles and seeing when we're ready for the next dish to be cooked. The restaurant and atmosphere is very intimate and well laid out, love the round table where we sat and able to eat and engage in conversation as a group looking at each other. Will definitely be coming back here with more family and friends. Bookings in advance is a must.

It was a really good Korean experience and food was awesome. We really enjoyed cooking and dishes we got for the package. Meat was well marinated and I really enjoyed with the Korean beer.

Have been a regular customer at this place for quite a while, recommended many people to here and so far it hasn’t disappointed! Food is great service is on point atmosphere is perfect! All staff is very attentive and lovely but the owner is on another level, he pays attention to details and always refills our side dishes before we can even ask! Very busy place especially closer to weekend hence booking is recommended. One of my all time favourite restaurants for Korean BBQ and I’m a very fussy and picky eater so everyone should try at least once!

We Went there at 19/04 8pm . the Food was tasty kimchi soup was nice just only the teokppoki is too much pepper . In the hospitality industry obviously service is also the important point . So the ONE STAR Rating is just for the man ( Server which is have tattoo at left forearms and grey Apple Watch ) He is unwelcoming and also with a rude attitude . We come in a good mood but completely destroyed by this dining experience . 100% won’t come back again and we was so confusing with this 4.7 rating 😅 last but not least , thank you for the Lady server and man server with spec for the good service we do appreciate it .

Felt Rushed They allocated only 1 hour and 15 mins for each session and it shows. The staff try to serve you as fast as they can and I understand that the restaurant is small and they need to turn around the table in higher amount but it doesn’t make it okay. I don’t think 1 hour and 15 mins is enough time to savour your food and have a wonderful “dining” experience With that being said, the food is actually good. The wagyu has a good marbling, all the steaks cut and thinner cut have good taste. The side dish was decent, and the portion was okay Will think twice before coming back to this place as I don’t enjoy the feeling of being rushed. Perhaps another day when it is not so crowded

Reasonable priced, food quality is also good. The waiter helps you to bbq the meat so that’s really great. Love the atmosphere too. Recommend Korean bbq place!

Would give 4.5. The food was delicious. We had the pork platter with the standout being the marinated neck meat. Amazing. Have to get myself some fermented soy paste so I can make some! The wings were awesome and cooked well. The diced pickled daikon was awsosme too and somehow better than the sliced pickled daikon. Service was.. Ok. Their English wasn't very good so there was a clear language barrier which made it hard. I wish K-BBQ places would have ice for drinks. I love soju on ice or even just for soft drinks. The japchae was the weakest dish for me with not a lot of textural difference and missing something. The place didn't have much atmosphere and seats were quite uncomfortable but fit for purpose. Would be nice if they asked if you would like to cook your own food on the grill. We would of. Only one more thing could of made this better apart from things already stated and that's charcoal grills not gas just from a flavour perspective. That said the gas grill got nice and hot quickly and produced good flavour. Certainly better than the electric units some places have. Will definitely go again, want to try some of their wagyu and other pork like the jowl. Oh and pricing was fair.

Great looking establishment, friendly and good service from the wait staff. A little pricey, the Wagyu Rib eye a little underwhelmingand, their Firery Cheesy Chicken needed more heat and seasoning but I enjoyed their Kimchi Pancake, marinated Pork belly (spicy option) and their little sides.

We ordered the 'Plain Code', by no means was it plain. It was so tasty! If you're looking for some great Korean food at a premium price, this is the place to go.

Unfortunately, we were unable to taste the food. The manager, without even pretending to be friendly, refused to try to find a table for us, even though they had 80% unoccupied tables on Friday after 6:30 pm. It would be helpful to inform customers that pre-booking is mandatory. Perhaps that is why another Korean BBQ restaurant just 5 minutes away has a higher rating. Even with 99% busy tables, they did their best to care for their clients.
