Desserts By Night (Springvale)

Restaurant Cafe Coffee shop Dessert restaurant

👍 Great choice of desserts. The red velvet waffles were the best 👌. The portions of everything else is very small for the price you pay around $20 each. It gets very busy and there is not much seating so not ideal for large groups. Have to wait a while for the seating and food. People often mention desserts, dessert, good, great, chocolate, taste, nice, matcha,

I've been here many times and found all of their desserts to be very delicious (really!! none of them taste bad!!!). Their waffles are light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. Their sticky date pudding is one of the best I've had. Their drinks are really great too. I particularly recommend the hot taro latte - so fragrant and rich. Definitely worth a visit!

One of my favourite dessert places in the area. I have never been disappointed. Pick a dessert and be ready to be surprised. The quality, the presentation, the taste, everything’s perfect!

Cute little dessert place with limited menu and hefty prices. My chocolate and raspberry Clive was presented very beautifully and tasted great. But there was nothing blowing me away for dessert or drink. Worth a visit for sure, not worth waiting in line for though.

Nice desserts and I really liked their hot taro latte. Each time I've come here there's been a wait/line to get in that sometimes extends outside. Very popular and noisy location but has a good vibe.

Delicious. The melting chocolate dome and the smashing pinata are highlights. Such cool, interactive desserts. They really have found their niche. So cool. Will be back again. So good!!

The desserts here are always so yummy, the portions are perfect for the price you're paying. Always presented so beautifully and so good to eat after a dinner. They never disappoint with their desserts and they are so ahead of the game when it comes to it.

The dessert place was decent, but not blowing us away. The staff's vibe felt a bit on the reserved side, and we thought they could use a sprinkle of friendliness. It's like they could do with some extra training in the art of customer charm. The desserts themselves were good, no complaints there. Yet, I must say, the Marybyrnong spot has a dessert that knocks it out of the park. We decided to go for the Cookies and Cream Crêpe, which was a sweet journey of Chantilly cream, dreamy white chocolate ganache, and a scoop of chocolate ice cream that was just heavenly. And oh, we couldn't resist the call of the Chocolate & Hazelnut Pancake. Imagine chocolate ganache, brownie goodness, a touch of maple syrup, all topped with vanilla ice cream. Seriously, it was a taste party in every bite.

Well done on probably being one of the best dessert bars in Melbourne. The range is so extensive and so well presented.

I've been here a few times and tried different items on the menu. Each of the dessert items is engulfed with a rainbow of flavours. The crumble of the cashews and ice freeze attacks from the sorbet. You will enjoy each and every one of them. They do have a variety of options, from Chocolate-gooey-filled crepes to green-matcha-goodness Tiramisu cakes. They are open till late and tend to get busy. I'd recommend giving yourself a heads up by reserving a table for you and your mates to enjoy the treats.

A go-to for my friends and I - we frequent this place quite a bit. Delicious desserts and open late, what more could you want? Always friendly service & quick to get seated. Our fav is the Red Velvet Waffles! Also recommend the chai latte!

Okay guys… The dessert is terrible!!! Let’s talk about the major issues here - Really bad portions for the price - the price is outrageous for what we get - the taste of the dessert is all artificial and doesn’t feel or sit right in the stomach. - taste awful Not coming back… Come on guys… Step up your game!!!

A great addition to Springvale. I feel that business of this kind will contribute to shape a brand new identity to this suburb & help to transform the vibe of this area. Loved how clean both of the entrances were and the atmosphere of the shop when it gets dark. Service was good, presentation of desserts & drinks excellent & QR code ordering super convenient.

Absolutely delicious, this is definitely a place to go to when you have that sugar craving. Bring cash & save some money. The hot Salted caramel sauce was excellent. Everything was great. If I could of licked my plate clean I would of. Definitely will be returning. The only down side is their website and contact details needs to be update so you know when it's open and what the menu is etc. Thank you. If this review helps please give it a thumbs up.

One of the very few places around here that’s open at this time for desert at night. Deserts are quite good - we got the strawberry Nutella crepes. The vibe is decent, service is relatively quick.

Desserts are really nice and unusual , well decorated, decadent and tasty but nothing exceptional. However, the catch is they are well priced as well $18.0, $19.00 , $20.00 and so (on per piece). When you come and order a drink as well ( which we always do ) we expect to sit there but over half an hour ( I think it is found appropriate to sit everywhere up to one hour when you have part of meal and drink ( be it milkshake, frape, or latte matcha). Because you catch up and want yo talk be it with family, friends, etc. unfortunately , there was really bad atmosphere the other night - like everyone was polite and nice and suddenly we had three guys coming to sit table just close to us and that guy ( which I never ever met in my life) started using f… words constantly so loudly that anyone siting close by could hear him especially me because he was sit just beside me . He was polite with waitresses but when they moved he kept swearing constantly and I just kept moving away while my friend went yo toilet ) lien half an hour). I just got up and was ready to leave in meantime waitress came and took my friends drink thinking we left ( but we didn’t pay yet)! Atmosphere was very unpleasant especially because if that men that was sweating constantly with his friends. One thing I didn’t come to hear . And drank Australian Caucasian shouldn’t be attending places like patisseries - they should go to pub and have. A drink there where they are familiar and we’re their IQ belongs. I expected better place but after three visits it wasn’t worth it. And Australian guys like Asian women serving them anyway in every way ( in bed too). I am not sure why he dint mention word f… when they attended him . 😂👎he should they would be happy about it and accept the offer .

Nice atmosphere, service and range of desserts. The sticky date pudding I ordered was delicious and not too sweet. Desserts are all around $20 though so quite expensive.

My first dessert place in Melbourne and it was great. Tried the Berry and Cream Hot Cake with Persian Fairy Floss. Was delicious.

The desserts are extremely good, with the chocolate and caramel being a standout. Mango pudding was refreshing and vietnamese coffee was good too, although too expensive for $8. Desserts are all pricey for the location though.

As usual a great dining experience. Desserts are put together so well at this place. We enjoy the desserts here and love to indulge when we get a chance

Nice place, desserts are highly decorated, but slightly industrial, and the place has a dining room vibe. Service also gave a feeling that you need to finish in a hurry... but over all a pleasant place to spend Saturday night.

Popped in at about 8pm on a Friday evening, it was fully packed but thankfully there was one table available. Orders were taken via the QR code, pretty pictures helps alot! We ordered the Belgian chocolate waffles and a mug of matcha to share. Food was delightful, especially the matcha at half sugar and well portioned for the 2 of us without going too hard. Highly recommend heading over before 8pm if you want a seat as there was a queue after 9pm.

Went here a couple of nights ago with my mates. We ordered the crème caramel milkshake which was perfectly creamy and not overly sweet either. I chose to have the Fudge Chocolate Brownie which was honestly mouthwatering!! Super chocolatey and melts in your mouth. The Oreo crepe we ordered, was good but a bit dry. Maybe adding a bit of chocolate sauce or cream inside, would improve the texture. It still tasted great, though. Overall I absolutely enjoyed my experience there, especially the ambience. So lively and bright.

Pleasantly surprised. When we went, the queue was quite long (quite unexpected, given that it was quite late on a Sunday evening). The service time was quite long as well given how many people were there, so I wasn't expecting too much. However, the matcha waffles were AMAZING. They were fluffy, warm and the matcha ice cream on top was to die for 🤩. The pinata was really cool as well, but I personally didn't enjoy the combination of flavours as much (my partner did though!). All in all, would come back to try the other desserts and am so glad we found this place!

Went there 2 days in a row, amazing desserts and drinks. Thanks for the services, great food for my friend's birthday. Definitely go back until we try everything on the menu.

I've been here many times, sometimes with friends but mostly with my girlfriend, I can definitely vouch for the food and the taste. It is tasty, portion sizes are decent and their service is very subtle and welcoming, they also close late which is nice if you need time to digest after dinner or feel like a naughty late-night dessert. However, my overall experience there is unpleasant the past 2-3 trips as the other customers there are too loud, have no filter, and scream and shout amongst themselves as they were in their own homes. The music playing in the background was almost completely drowned out and it constantly feels like there are people screaming in my ear. None of this is the restaurants fault of course. But it must be taken into account nonetheless. If you bring your significant other here, expect the possibility of having your experience ruined by others. It is also often full, sometimes with a line of people in queue to enter. My partner and I love this place but we're constantly second guessing whether or not we should go again. The food makes it worthwhile but the scales are tipping ever so slowly in favour of not going anymore for the sake of peace and quiet.
