We absolutely LOVE The London Baker! Whether you’re ordering a custom bespoke cake, stopping by for a coffee and a pastry, or celebrating with a high tea, this place is AMAZING. We love how cute and cozy the shop is. Elizabeth is a true British award winning baker. She is so personable in her interactions with her customers and we have loved every conversation with her. The scones are the best we have ever had. They are not the hard rocks most places sell. They are soft, thick, delicious and served with jam and butter. Just amazing. The cupcakes and other pastries are absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to get a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday and they customized it to the max! He asked for very very specific colors and toppings and for the inside to have sprinkles. They did not disappoint! It was so yummy and presented so well. Everyone who saw it said “that was a serious cake” lol Thank you, London Baker! We are so happy you moved to this new location. We love coming her for yummy treats and a wonderful time!

We ordered a customized cake for my son’s birthday, a design he wanted and The London Baker made it happen. It was the most amazing experience and the cake was amazing both in design and flavor. The staff was incredible.

We got tickets to the Harry Potter tea time and it was so great! Very well ran with assigned tables for your group, so many things to eat, fun drinks and up to 6+ different types of tea. Be prepared for a lot of sweets, but also savory foods. Overall wonderful atmosphere and an added bonus of a scavenger hunt to win a free cake (no spoilers)!

Anything you get here is made with high quality ingredients! Now the decor is out of this world!! I feel transported to another world when I step inside! You can tell all the hard work and effort into making the place magical! The Harry Potter decor is amazing! Very tasteful and fun to see! Tried this place out after seeing the owner on “Is it Cake?” And it did not disappoint! The scone and croissant was delicious and packed full of flavor! We also enjoyed the ham and cheese rosette. The latte was just a bit too sweet for my preference, but my husband loved it! The staff was very kind and attentive. We will def be back!

Our experience with The London baker was one of the best cake experiences i’ve ever had. I knew they would meet of all my needs for my wedding day. Emma took care of everything. Had time to listen and we were even able to have a big beautiful cake without a huge guest list. Being an indecisive person it really took some effort on her part to figure out exactly what i needed. When I saw my cakes I almost cried they were SO gorgeous! It exceeded my expectations. Thank you Emma for being apart of my special day!

My experience was a slightly let down. I accidentally stumbled upon The London Baker and was on cloud 9 with the anticipation of the culinary experience. The decor was simply amazing and wonderful. As far as the coffee beverage I chose, it was delicious. Unfortunately everything else surrounding my experience was a let down. I ordered two different breakfast entree's and they were horrible. I took one bite of each item and couldn't take another bite. The presentation was horrible. My first entree was a tad burnt. On a final note, the friendliness of the staff was hit-and-miss. The staff member who helped me was great, however the manager avoided me even though there were only two of us in the Cafe at the time. He started a conversation with that person, however never bothered to say hello to me. To his defense, he did say goodbye as I left the establishment. Unfortunately I will never go back. Hopefully your experience will be better.

I’m a little late posting this review but my friend and I visited here last Sunday and absolutely loved it. I saw the owner on the show “Is It Cake?” and had to check out her bakery while in town from Austin. We were greeted by her lovely father-in-law who happened to be helping out that day and sister-in-law at the register. Everyone at the shop was so nice and we got to meet Liz the owner. The waffles, scone, and butter beer latte were amazing. The decor was fabulous. I can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in the Dallas area.

Randomly came across this place and have been here twice already the past week. First, the staff here is amazing. They’re all so sweet and even prepared one extra cookie when they found out the one I wanted to try had been sold out. The bourbon pecan cookie and the brownies are my current favs. They have the right gooey texture with that slight crisp on the outside. Great place for me to come sit, relax, work, and enjoy some sweets.

A beautiful dining room with amazing staff. The food and drink are amazing and they are very on brand for the Harry Potter theme! The owner, Elizabeth Rowe, is extremely nice and came around to each table and talked to us. The staff is amazing too. Elizabeth set up the entire tea room with Hogwarts letters, Dementors, Owls, Pixies, and so much more! An extremely fun event and will definitely be coming back for more theme teas and just to visit! ps. any one debating on coming in the future- DO IT (especially in costume ;) )

We are lucky to have this place so close! We got into the Harry Potter tea and it did not disappoint! The attention to detail, the tea service, the food…. All amazing! The employees were so nice! The normal coffee and pastries are outstanding! The sausage rolls are probably some of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back!

The crumpet was amazing. I had never had one, but it was delicious and full of flavor. The decor was adorable. It feels as if you have been transported to the UK. Overall, great service and fantastic food!

Elizabeth and her team are perfection. Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning and tasted better than any cake we’ve ever had! The entire team at The London Baker communicated effectively every step of the way - we feel like every detail was carefully thought through from the design all the way to the execution. We are so grateful that they were a part of our big day! We HIGHLY recommend to anybody who needs a cake for any special occasion.

Fantastic soft croissants that taste just like the ones in Europe. If you ever went to a Lidl in the UK or EU and got a simple butter croissant from a fresh batch they just pulled out of the oven they tasted exactly like these ones.

The best cake we have ever had! The bride’s cake was a mixture of vanilla and strawberry layers. We don’t even like strawberry cake, but the sample was so good that we went with it. Everyone said it was extraordinary. The vanilla was spectacular. But the absolute best was the groom’s cake: amoretto with salted caramel chocolate icing. Words cannot express how good this cake was. And the design was so special. We are cyclists, and they made a cake with a road and added Lego cyclists to the top. Fun, creative, and delicious. We cannot recommend them enough!

When I say this place is spectacular, I would say that is an understatement. Our tea here was THE BEST tea experience we have ever had. The owner did a spectacular job making the environment intimate and festive and the food the best I have ever had. The details that they put into it made this experience. I hope they do a murder mystery tea sometime soon!

First time here, i was really interested because i thought it was Harry potter themed 😕 but it’s only themed during events they have. Bummer… we still ate pastries, had hot chocolate and coffee. I had the Irish gold latte for st patty , i was even given another due to the coffee design not being pic perfect which was sweet. The coffee wasn’t really to my liking it was strong which i like but i really didn’t like the flavor. Customer service was superb! We did take some pics, but if you have active kiddos don’t take them lol. Very nice and relaxing to go with some friends. Definitely recommend!

The decor is VERY cool. Makes you feel like you’re in London. Plenty of comfortable seating. The shop definitely focuses on pastries and cakes. In terms of coffee, it’s good for sweet drinks but not great if you’re looking for artisan high quality espresso and coffee. Our drinks were very sweet and we don’t plan on returning for coffee.

What a wonderful stop on our road trip. The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL. We ordered crumpets and the “baconham” palace. Nice serving size for such a low price. Ask for the tea menu as it’s not displayed on the wall (maybe because it’s a large tea menu) The atmosphere takes you to a perfect little London. Will be back if we decide to drive 15 hours from home again.

We love this place!! We got tickets to the Harry Potter High Tea and it was an AMAZING experience!! One of the best high teas I’ve ever had. Elizabeth is not only an expert cake decorator, but she’s also an amazing host! Everything we ate was incredible, highly recommend having tea at a bakery!!! The high tea events sell out within an hour of posting, but every time we’ve ever come here, the pastries, pies, cakes and drinks are top notch. Will be back!!

We are currently at one of the London Baker’s Harry Potter themed teas and it’s absolutely magical. The atmosphere is so cozy and right on theme; we feel like we’re at a little tea house in Hogsmeade. The food is truly delicious and what I imagine Hogwarts students ate in the great hall. (Plus, they make everything here on site!) And the service is top-notch. We feel so taken care of. 9 ¾ out of 10 recommend coming to one of their themed teas. (And 9 ¾ definitely means 10. 😉) We’ll be back!

My lovely wife and I have been wanting to come here since our move to DFW in 2019. Today, we finally experienced the London Baker. Chef Elizabeth Rowe more than delivers on the most exquisite pastries and coffee. Along with our kids, we shared about 7 items; from chocolate cupcakes decorated with fingers (its Halloween this week), fluffy bacon and cheese Strada, Almond Croissant, and on and on. Each item was truly delicious. The Almond Croissant was the best i have ever had anywhere, including any pastry in Paris. It was truly a euphoric culinary trip! The coffees were right on par with the baked goods. Besides the chef being there on a Sunday, the team was energetic, polite, and right on point. Bottom line: We can't wait to go back for more. Thanks !!

I recently visited" The London Baker" in Dallas, TX, owned by none other than Elizabeth from the "Is It Cake?" Netflix show. Let me tell you, it was an exquisite experience. The coffee served at The London Baker was beyond amazing. Whether you prefer a rich espresso or a creamy latte, they had it all, and the quality was outstanding. Now, let's talk about their pastries. The sweet and savory choices were not only diverse but also delicious. From delicate croissants to mouthwatering cakes, there was something to satisfy every craving. The decor, inspired by English themes, was absolutely gorgeous. It transported me to a charming tea room in London. The attention to detail in the design truly added to the overall ambiance. If you're in Dallas and looking for a delightful coffee and pastry shop experience, "The London Baker" is a must-visit. Elizabeth has created a gem that combines exceptional coffee, diverse treats, and stunning ambiance. It's an experience you won't want to miss.

Had an amazing time at London Baker Coffee Shop! Great vibes, top-notch coffee, and delicious treats. The manager's personal touch, coming to our table and offering recommendations, made it even more special. Fantastic service! Can't wait to return for more. ☕🍰😊

Oh my Gosh....you MUST spend a Saturday morning checking out this place and meet the charming Owner, Elizabeth Rowe. What a Joy it was to be served tea on bended knee by a Knight in shining armor with a wicked sense of humor! The food alone will have you coming back for more and the decor will keep you comfortable in rich, luxurious style while you indulge. The staff here is so gracious, the Honey Rosemary Latte a necessity, and the unique cakes an experience to behold. Get to The London Baker where you can "feed me cupcakes and tell me I'm pretty," as well as have your picture taken with The Queen!

Awesome place! First off the staff is really friendly & helpful. Cookies are straight bomb diggity good, soft, rich & delicious. Their Strawberry Cupcake is one of the better strawberry cakes I've had. Great latte selections as well! 100% recommend them.

I'm sitting here right now with my friend and her daughter. I came to get some real scones again and to introduce my friends to the authentic British food and teas/cuppas. I found London Baker through a friend's ex-pat friend who told me this was one of the only places in DFW to find great authentic scones after returning from Britain last summer. I am stunned by those triangular sugar-glazed things in American coffee shops called "scones." I found out that not only are these scones giant sultana scones, which you can get with Devon cream, but they are the owner's mom's recipe. No wonder they are so fabulous. I have been coming back for the past 9 months. Everyone is friendly and they will make fresh scones for me if they are out. The London Fog tea was phenomenal. I hear the cakes are too and saw many people ordering/leaving with them! This place is a class act! PS my British acquaintance swears by the sausage rolls. I'm not a sausage eater but if you are, try them!

The London Baker was my husbands “must have” at wedding and they were fabulous! From the personalized cake tasting, Gluten free options, planning phone calls and cake outlines, to final beautiful cakes!!! They are wonderful and delicious.

From the moment you arrive at the front door of The London Baker, you can sense that you are in for an extraordinary bakery experience. What a charming place that The London Baker is reminiscent of an old English Tea Room updated with some modern touches. From the English videos playing, to the beautiful formal tea china with friendly, impeccable service, the scones are wonderful, a variety of teas, bakery, and sausage rolls - this truly does not disappoint. Don't forget to get a picture with the London phone booth while you are there! Elizabeth, the owner, who's vision it was to bring a bit of England to the north Dallas area is so creative with her cakes - your vision is in great hands with her. The cakes are phenomenally tasty and moist. Visually - second to none. We celebrated with a Jubilee cake in Almond - we loved it. Looking forward to ordering our next event cake with The London Baker.

What a memorable experience! Greats pastry selection, friendly staff, beautiful decor and ample spaces to park. We got a chance to meet the owner and the Art & Wine walk in Castle Hills. She is super talented! Will for sure order one of her incredible cakes in the near future. We are happy to be moving near The London Baker, just wish they would sell breads.

If you want to be transported directly to London, this is your spot! You haven’t had scones until you have tried real British scones. Crumbly with the perfect light sweetness and baked to golden brown. It is delicious on its own but to top it off and make it even better it comes with real Devon Cream and preserves. Scrumptious! If scones are not your cup or tea, there are plenty or other delicious pastries to choose from. And of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to London without tea. Choose your favorite from a full tea menu. Served with a tea timer so you can have it perfectly steeped. The ambiance itself is worth the visit. The velvet green couches, elegant chandeliers, iconic red telephone booth and faux fireplace are delightful. The London Baker is the prefect way to experience a taste of London without the long flight across the pond!
