Absolutely delicious. Char grilled meats done the old Macedonian way. It doesn't matter where you live in Melbourne it's worth a drive to taste DDs cuisine. Your taste buds will be forever grateful for it.

We have called to make reservations and have been told that this is Balkan Grill and that They are associated with the original Balkan Grill St Albans and Reservoir just to let everyone know This is a fake Balkan Grill; they have stolen the name. When I asked the owner, he said that Google made a mistake, and clearly, the entry said DD’s Balkan Grilled. Wow. Very disappointing. We tried the dry and salty salad, which had no taste whatsoever. They gave us Sopska Salad without cheese, and when asked to add, they told us that we had to pay extra for cheese. The waitress and owner, Mario, were so rude. , arrogant to customers. Prices are so expensive compared to other restaurants. We knew we were in the wrong restaurant. Please just avoid it if you can. NOT WORTH DRIVE AND MONEY. AVOID 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Food well below average. Kevapi dry and minimal amount of cabbage and onion. Bread was stale and service was rude. Went with my elderly mother and they spoke very poorly to her handing her the menu and implying thats she wont be able to read it because she is old. When mum was slowly walking in with her walker the manager laughed and said 'look shes keen running in the restarant' . Owners of the store need to up there customer service and quality of food big time. Saw him also bare handling the meat and chopping it holding it up in the air instead of a chopping board and gloves. Never going on there again. Dont know how they stay open

It's been a long time since I've had Macedonian food, and this was a great reminder of how good it is. They were very busy and still made room for us. Will go back again

Wow what a change under new management the food is terrible I phoned up and order and had to wait an additional 45mins to get my food after the agreed time and the prices have gone up bring back the old owners!!

Food is so good here. And the service is also good. Staffs are friendly and they serve beer will chilled glass cups which is so delicate. I’m so enamored with this restaurant that I’ve decided to purchase a house nearby just to have the pleasure of visiting every week. The thought of being able to indulge in their delectable offerings regularly brings me immense joy.

Excellent authentic balkan food. Generous and fresh with great quality and flavour. The restaurant is very small and lacks character - the dull grey walls need to go.

Best Food and Service I had in a long time. Just like home cooking. As Mum used to cook. Also very well priced, If someone not like it, they should continue eating McDonalds or Pizza from Dominos.

Not happy at all , Always been a customer here , last time we were served by the owner of the shop she kindly made us a cevapi Roll which was always on our menu . Today we called at 6:30pm to be advised that the worker didn’t understand what I was talking about in a rude manner and she had to ask her colleague if they make cevapi roll and she came back to be stating we don’t have bread Roll ? I just wanna justify how can you run a Balkan restaurant without bread .
