A quiet and peaceful picnic area with plenty of tables and a clean toilet! It was also really close to the beach and lookouts, a nice resting place for couples and families.

Wooded picnic area with lots of tables and chairs. Ignore first car park, the better spots are further in. Has a few trail walks from here too, though they are a bit long (Fingal Beach walk is 3km return and hilly)

Good place for a picnic with family and friends, plenty of park and 30 mins walk to the beach

Fingal is the quintessential mix of woods, foreshore scrub, and ocean views. You drive up the long access road to the well-equipped picnic area to park. Then it's a short walk back to the steps to the track to take you to the cliff top, where magnificent views are presented at myriad vantage spots along the walk. Well worth the rrip, and you come back to the picnic area for a repast. Suitable for all ages.

Electric barbeques, tables, trees, and lots of grass. Pretty perfect place for a picnic

Nice secluded rocky beach. Bit of a steep walk from car park to beach. Not ideal for young kids because not much sand there, however, perfect for scuba diving and fishing.

Wow, what a beautiful place. The walk down to the fingal beach is very nice but a little challenging for little ones with a lot of steps. Low tide is a must.

Very nice and secluded place. From there we walked towards the Fingal beach. Beautiful walk, however, the decent to the beach is steps all the way down.

So so picnic area. But quiet, shady parking and access to walking tracks without the usual busyness. Bit of a walk to the rock pools down many steps, but stunning views and even a great beach. Worth it

Lovely picnic area with sheltered BBQs. They don't get super hot so maybe bring your own portable one or don't cook chicken haha πŸ˜… can't bring dogs unfortunately because its a national park. But lovely park with really tall pine trees. Just be careful of the pot holes in the carpark. Would recommend the park overall.

Hidden away, great walk from picnic area to the beach. Great lookouts along the way. Make sure you have your weet Bix - it's not a casual stroll. Lots of wildlife.

Very nice picnic area. Shady areas among tall trees. BBQ and restroom facilities. Many tables and ample car parking. Some excellent walks start from there. You can go to fingal beach and then can further go on to Gunamatta beach and back via the inland track totalling 9km in length. Another option is to walk to Cape Schnack and back. A very good place to have a picnic and explore local areas.
