Worst tyre shop I’ve ever come across. Finished work early to go to an appointment to get a puncture repaired. Call me 30 mins later saying we don’t have a bolt to take my wheel off 😂😂 that’s literally their job! Basically told to come and get your car we can’t help you! Absolute joke of a shop, avoid at all costs!

I gave a call on Friday morning and said that I had a puncture..the receptionist said to bring the tyre in at 3.30.got there..and the tyre technician took the tyre and said come back tomorrow and I will have it fixed.. When i told the technician that I need the tyre today..he just blatenly dropped the tyre and just missed my foot. Then a second technician came and said or..it's too close to the shoulder of the tyre therefore need to replace the tyre which will cost $160.. I politly decline the offer and went to another shop down the road.. Ask him if the tyre can be repaired..he said yes,no problem..the nail is no where need the shoulder..charged me $30 and I was out. Please don't rip people of saying a tyre needs to be replaced when it can easily be repairs..I understand that you cant repair it when when the puncture is on the shoulder..but it my case it was not the case.

I called Michael this morning looking for advice due to an engine light error that came on during a lengthy drive. We cleared the code with an OBD tool, however were concerned it may return due to another lengthy drive we are doing over the weekend. I was greeted with nothing but rudeness and a condescending tone. He repeatedly interrupted me and kept asking “why are you calling me?” - I was calling because he was my local mechanic… My whole family have been customers of Malvern and Tyre service for many years, in fact I have been bringing my cars here since I got my first at 18. However after todays experience I can confidently say I do not want to do business with a man that has no regard for his repeat customers who are just looking for some advice. Understandably it is a busy time of the year for all, however 5 minutes of kindness can go a long way. I then called Diesel Mechanics Australia and they were able to provide advice and good customer service, I will be booking in with them instead in the new year.

Do your research! Seatbelt tensioner repair on black 2017 Mazda CX9 rushed before Christmas. Genuine part quoted at $1100, re-conditioned $350, labour $135. Car kept overnight awaiting part, then part was beige (not black) and additional labour required as rear seat had to be removed. Total $551! Once collected, front auto window winder motor blown.

Very comfortable recommending Michael and the team. Four new premium tyres handled effortlessly and a routine service that cost half of what we've been paying a dealership. We'll be back.

This place is an absolute joke! Called in morning to confirm an inspection that was made on a car! They didn’t know anything about it. Got there, nobody in reception for 10 minutes, had to go to the back to approach one of the mechanic. Got a call the car is ready to get picked up, arrived and 45 minutes later car still not ready! This is by far the worst mechanic place. Came across! Will never do business with them and will not recommend them to anyone l

Really disappointing experience. Took car in for service and had spark plugs replaced, got the car back and it started having issues. Took it to another mechanic who discovered a cracked spark plug. All responsibility denied by Malvern Tyre & Service. Not even an offer to refund the cracked spark plug I took in.

Friendly and incredibly helpful. Did a great job on an old car and got me back on the road. Love that they explained everything and didn’t make me feel pressured. Car is driving better than ever. Highly recommend and will return.

Came in for a second opinion on a diagnostic. Michael was fantastic and honest with his advice on what to do without taking any money. Very helpful and thorough. Will definitely be back!

The team at Malvern Tyre & Service are great! Customer service is top notch! Came in with my car doing all sorts of malfunctions, they were able to book in me quickly, sort out what it was and ran through what had happened with me. This has become my new mechanics! Had a very poor experience with this business on a couple of occasions now. I had an issues with timing chain and during my shopping around Michael was very accommodating and provided me with a deal I thought was good at that time. He reassured that the part he is ordering will be very great quality and durable, which will last more than 200.000 miles as warranted. 2 year later and 30,000 km only, the part broke and caused major issue to the engine. On my request to provide a copy of the part order with manufacturer warranty details, Michael just disappeared. No returning calls, emails which were sent on numerous occasions. His staff always tells me Michael’s is a busy man. Aren’t we all? Conclusion now: the parts which you order to us as consumers must of been defaulted or second hand. Unfortunately amicable resolution dose take place in this business and have to involve authorities.

The staff at Malvern Tyre & Service offer an all encompassing service. This allows them to work on your cars mechanical systems but also offer tyres and alignments. They are fair in their pricing and genuine in their recommendations. I drive away knowing my vehicles are in safe hands with Michael and his technicians handiwork. BTW Tyres and wheel alignments are their profession too. They sorted me out a Korean tyre with current technology. They provide great service too.

2nd puncture for my wife's car in 6 months; construction site across the road leaving roofing screws all over the road. Last time she took it to one of the chains and got absolutely ripped off, told her the tyre was a write-off and charged her $500 for a replacement. Exact same puncture today, rang Michael and he took the car in within the hour. Less than four hours later puncture is fixed and the car back on the road for $55. Cannot praise this business enough for professionalism, honesty and brilliant service.

First service I went in for, I requested x4 new tyres, oil change, fog light and brake light fixed. Took a call from the manager, quoted me 4 tyres that came with a cash back of $150, didn't mentioned that you had to facilitate the cash back yourself. Then received another call from the shop from a different mechanic; told me the oil would be changed and the lights fixed, didn't mention a pick up time. I called back at 420pm to see if the car was ready, he said yes it will be 30min. Hurried was stuck in traffic and then get a call from the manager telling me the car would be ready to collect in morning. Had to argue with him to get the car left for pick up that night and it was all like he was doing me a favor. The bill then had additional work that was not requested and the work that I had requested was not done. Didn't receive any information on the cash back offer. The next day the brake light blew and had to back, get it fixed and then get the fog light done that I originally requested. Received a flyer on the cash back offer, when completing it, I found it to be invalid and after calling Michelin to confirm they let me know it was invalid and the mechanic should not have offered that promotion for those tyres. A week later the car is making a noise that was not present before it was worked on by this garage. I will not be taking back there for inspection. Do not see go to this mechanic, he is arrogant, rude, knows nothing about customer service or communication and adds on additional work that is not requested. Worst experience with a mechanic, ever.

Michael & the team not only work hard, provide excellent value plus friendly, knowledgeable service - they’re also very down to earth, transparent & take the time to explain what/how/why if there’s any problems or repairs/replacements required. Just disappointed - booked online for Tuesday for a wheel alignment - got a call to say they needed to move to Wednesday so I rescheduled my plans. I just arrived to drop off my car to be informed the machine isn’t working, no clue on when it can be but maybe I’ll get a call, and no idea whether a refund can be processed for me… maybe the boss can look at it tomorrow apparently 😂

Needed new tyres, bushes and headlights polished for a RWC. Dropped off Thursday avo, was told it'd be ready by Saturday but got a call Friday morning saying all done. Price very reasonable and awesome service. Will definitely come back for any future needs. Cheers Michael and gang!

I cannot rave about Michael and his team enough. It is SO hard to find reliable and genuine mechanics and Michael is the real deal! From ringing around the wreckers to find a part to save his clients some $$ to never ever passing judgement on a grossly overdue service. All the team is focussed on is providing the best customer service and giving you the best options for your car. There's no where else I'd ever go!

Michael is a champion. I came in at 3pm with a needing a tyre that was not in stock and he personally went to pick up one from his supplier to have it ready by 5pm as he knew l desperately needed it.
