What can I say!? This zoo was pretty great, loved all the new renovations happening! Sad I wont be in town to come back when they open up! It was so much fun walking and seeing all the animals, super friendly and helpful staff as well!

Really enjoyed it here. Spent about 2-3 hours walking through each exhibit fairly quickly. Could have spent all day if we took time to read all the signs and info cards and if we spent more time watching certain animals. Some interactive exhibits (feeding the giraffes) and a lot of animals still on show despite the 40 degree weather.

World class Zoo! We have been season pass holders for several years and never regret it. Our kiddos love to go (foster and adopted).

We saw a lot of animals. Kids were fully excited. The map was a little bit confusing because doesnt have the streets shown in the map so we got lost. The day we went was full...

Really enjoyed this. Walked for 5 hours to take in everything. It's under construction and the new area is going to be African predators. I especially enjoyed the reptiles.

It was fun, a lot of really cool animals and some nice places to stop and sit for a bit. An ostrich tried to eat the rope fence but fail however he kept trying so points for dedication. There was also a... gazelle I think whi had one horn so you could say that there is a unicorn at the Fort Worth zoo. 10/10

Absolutely loved the Fort Worth zoo, and we always have a sweet spot for the Africa exhibits. 100% will return.

New preditor exhibit is great and new baby elephant is delightful. Always something new. It's no surprise that this is one of the top 5 zoos in the nation.

We love the Zoo, my brothers were so excited. They want to go to the zoo every day. I told them if it didn't cost money, I would bring them every weekend. All 3 are mentally challenged.

So glad to finally get to see the big cats again, doesn’t matter how hot it is. It was a lot of fun for the kids.

Best zoo. They take excellent care of their animals. Habitats are as natural as they can be. The penguin experience was very smelly. The big cats, elep, and giraffe exhibits are a must see. There used to be more big cats but maybe the exhibit is not finished or they were trying to stay cool. Go early as the animals slow down and stay out of sight and sun during our hot Texas days. Even the trash cans are nicely decorated. Definitely comparable to the San Diego zoo. Need to add some pandas and koalas to their collection. I have enjoyed this zoo since my college days at TCU.

I enjoyed seeing the animals but I do feel this zoo was not as open and there were not many animals to see.

Went here on a chilly day. Most animals were not outside, which is understandable, but it was still an enjoyable experience.

I took my family here on a Tuesday, we arrived at 12 noon and left at 5pm. I recommend taking your own food. The zoo is going through a remodeling phase. The lions, tigers, and hyenas are not at the zoo because of that. Overall, my kids loved it and so did my wife, as it was her first time going.

So beautiful but construction was going on so couldn't see everything!

  • 5/5 Leigh W. 1 year ago on Google
The animal exhibits seemed to have plenty of room for their comfort and each was very informative! I learned a lot and I can't wait for the expansion of the big cats. As of writing they are not educating on the Big Cats as the exhibit is under massive construction.
