👍 This place is a great set up. Booking online was easy but a little issue finding the waiver forms. So if an easy access waiver form would be great addition. Friendly staff at check in and at the wetsuit counter. Surf instructors were super bubbly and so great with the kids. The actual waves were awe... This place is a great set up. Booking online was easy but a little issue finding the waiver forms. So if an easy access waiver form would be great addition. Friendly staff at check in and at the wetsuit counter. Surf instructors were super bubbly and so great with the kids. The actual waves were awesome. Children had such a great time. Some improvements could be a bit of shade provided for spectators. And the big one and reason for the lost star is the food. The restaurant was great but given you clientele you should have those quick eat options. Hot chips, donuts or an ice cream to go would be great sellers. Kids didn’t want to have a sit down lunch just some hot chips. Then you could get a quick bite afterwards as well. Would still highly recommend this place for all ages. #surfing #fun #loveit

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent surfing session I had booked with your company. While I acknowledge our tardiness was a mistake, I believe that the way the situation was handled highlights a lack of consideration for customer satisfaction and flexibility within your company's policies. Our experience can be summarized as follows: My companions and I arrived late for our prepaid session, and we fully understand the non-refundable and non-transferable nature of our booking. However, what perplexed us was the fact that there was ample availability for a later session at 5 PM, which we were willing to participate in. Regrettably, we were met with a response that simply cited "terms and conditions," offering little to no flexibility or customer-oriented service. Subsequently, we reluctantly decided to pay an additional $30 each to partake in a surfing session at the bay. To our dismay, we were then required to pay an extra $15 each for wetsuits, despite having expected these essentials to be included in the initial session fee. After changing into our gear, receiving a safety briefing, and finally hitting the waves, we found ourselves enjoying the experience for a mere 10 minutes before the session came to an end. Ultimately, it was decided to refund our initial 30$ session fee, but by that point, the damage was done. We had spent well over $500 collectively for a brief 10-minute surfing experience and an expensive shower. In conclusion, we acknowledge our responsibility for being late; however, this should not preclude the company from considering the overall customer experience and allowing for reasonable rescheduling when there is availability. Our impression is that the company's policies are primarily profit-driven and lack the flexibility required for exceptional customer satisfaction. I kindly request that you review your policies and procedures to ensure a more customer-centric approach, especially when such situations can be resolved with a reasonable level of accommodation. I hope this feedback will contribute to a more positive and customer-friendly experience for future patrons.

If I could give it 6 stars I would. Amazing place to learn to surf or improve. Amazing setup, friendly staff or are always willing to help in or out of the water. For beginners there are small easy waves to learn on, for people who used to surf, great way to get back into it and there are barrels to be had for experienced surfers. Plus 3 Blue Ducks restaurant is on site for a post surf beer or feed. Go!

Went for a work event. Totally loved it. I’m only 150cm tall so it was struggle wadding through the water for me. The beginners wave section was above my chest so I had to work harder to get through the water to the spot where you are guided by staff to get onto the board. It’s very informative, there are lots of change-rooms and your entry fee includes hiring of the equipment and gear. Very cute everyone all squeezed into wet suit. I just wore bathers under my suit. So hopefully that helps for those that have never surfed, or squeezed into a wet suit. Some of the guys wore shorts. They seemed fine. You have 20/30 minutes training. It’s really to get you to identify which of the three ways you can climb onto the surfboard. You do this on the floor. So it’s safe. This also highlights how flexible you are. Hah, I was a mermaid. Trust me it’s easier on the ground than in the water. But so much fun. And the staff members are right there with you. They help guide you to the right location and tell you when to start paddling when the wave approaches you from behind. It’s so addictive to try again and again to get up on the board. The little bracelets you are given can be reused by topping up the admission fee. Worth it and such a great experience to give someone who may not have surfed before as a gift. Lots of parking and the location is not too bad if you have a car. Worth the trip and I totally recommend.

Friendly staff, easy access, can book online or in person for sessions, reasonable prices, fantastic perfect waves to get barrelled in! Wrist band access which is really easy. Can watch for free behind the gates at the outdoor sitting area! Lifeguards are really caring and helpful! I recommend wearing a helmet -just stops any head bumps (I hit my head so much but didn't feel it) 🙂🌊🤘

I came here as a beginner with some experience in the water. I took the cruiser course, which was very very good. I learned to take the wave and literally cruise along it. The instructor that was with us was outstanding. It was last year... I don't remember his name, but I can only assume the quality of teaching is the same for all instructors. He would watch me take the wave. If I wiped out, he could tell straight away why and would give me tricks to avoid repeating the same mistake. He was always constructive and positive. I managed to get a lot of surfing and gain A LOT in confidence. I haven't stopped surfing since and I can tell this experience has helped me tremendously in the water. I wish I lived closer (I'm from Sydney), I would be there every other week for sure !

Hayley (10) had her very first surf with Roland and it was hands down the best experience she’s had. He was such a fantastic teacher and made the whole thing a blast even in miserable weather. Definitely recommend to any parent wanting to get the kids out of the house on school holidays!

Epic experience! A little more tricky on the takeoff than I was expecting on my first fang in a wave pool. Some epic fun and really enjoyed the whole experience. Good vibes in the water although for myself I reckon there were a few more bruises than barrels 🤣

I have done surfing once before but this was so much better. I did the boogie board part with a friend and it was amazing. The waves were very big and so much fun. Would recommend.

This place is amazing. If you you want to surf waves then this place will never let you down.

Low quality wave that allows one good turn after the take off and significantly weakens after that. Dangerous take off area with the wall and shallow floor. The take off is quiet challenging especially on a short board and if you are unsuccessful, next surfer drops in on your head in 2 seconds after you fall. Can still be fun when there is no swell for a long time. I wish we had one of Kelly’s surf pools instead.

Went to Urbnsurf for the first time Saturday and done a beginner lesson with Adrian, absolutely loved it and he was such a good teacher, everything was clear and he got me super pumped and gave wicked advice. I then had a play in the bay session for a little bit of practice on what I just learnt and it got me hooked even more. Would recommend coming here, well worth every cent and even better because the Coffee was great!

We joined a family member who had a surf session here, and it was fantastic! Even if you're not getting in the water, it's a really lovely spot to let the kids run around, have a cocktail or beer, and enjoy the sunshine or a stunning sunset. A great little playground and lots of other stuff to explore. We'll definitely be back!

An absolute gem of a place to get your surf on. Book a session and wave 🌊 of hour choice, and get your hour's worth of waves. Sets are regular and consistent. Good for getting your repetitions in without having to wait at an ocean break. All equipment can be rented here. You could technically show up with just a towel so long as you have the money 💰 to pay for it. Board, wetsuit, booties all available for rent. Great fun, worth coming back again.

This place looks amazing, for all those surfing enthusiasts. Even on a cold day there was many surfers out there giving it a good go. We just observed today as we went to the restaurant there.

Booked a lesson for my birthday and it was an amazing experience. We booked for beginner but we didn’t know (not until the end) we had the intermediate waves. That makes sense as it was very hard to stand on these waves. The only disadvantage is that they dont limit the people who will be in the water. We were 24 in that class and additional 20 other people who were surfing on their own. The space is not enough for that crowd. I hope ill see that improvement. Another thing is that the floor is concrete, had bruises after the 2 hours lesson so be extra careful.

An awesome concept and we'll put together. Place is organised and the team were helpful in getting hire gear and briefing everyone. For intermediate Surfers and above a booking is highly recommended to make sure you get a wave. If you have a good take off and pop you will probably find the cruiser level a bit easy but you won't complain about the consistency of the wave and the repetitions you can put in! Looking forward to trying this in Perth and Sydney once they open!

Sunset surfs are amazing. Rio was a great instructor, very informative and personable. Staff were super helpful with booking me in despite the new booking system change. Very grateful to the lovely lady who helped me out tonight!

Excellent facility! We were there for filming and the team were super accommodating and efficient. It’s a great space. Lot of keen surfers in the water and having Three Blue Ducks onsite is great, really good food. Easy parking as well.

It was a wonderful experience for someone who was surfing for the first time. We paid $89 for a half hour coaching session (a yoga mat with markings is used in this session) and an hour of surfing. This also included the wetsuit and surfboard. Totally worth the money. There is a photographer that clicks candid photos which is then uploaded to their website. These photos cost extra. I am guessing a videographer can be pre-booked too. We went just after the Australian Grand Prix. Hamilton and Russell both surfed here during the grand prix week.
