Fantastic walk, particularly for those with limited mobility on the south side loops. The bridges might be a challenge but they are optional. The upgrades and maintenance has been great but I wish there were more trash cans. They've recently replaced the dam and the pools are low and the paths are dry (save for a few icy spots). The north loop is still flooded and I'm not sure they can dam that area but the south loop is plenty big. Amenities: Fishing(ice fishing also) Benches Trash cans Cement paths Informational plaques Free parking

Very nice park with lots of well maintained pathways. Lots of veterans plaques and 2 large WW1 cannons. The north end floods some times. Parking around the park on both sides. Down side is no bathrooms here.

Lovely place to have a peaceful lunch and watch the geese. Wanted to add that the men and women who worked on the "makeover" of the park have done an outstanding job. A huge thank you to all of you!! Thank you to all who have served, you are appreciated for your sacrifice🇺🇸

A nice place to walk. Easy paths around the water as well as handicap assessable bridges to get the the center island. Benches around the park to rest on. Would have left 5 stars however due to the lack of rest areas and many of the memorial plaques around the park needing some tlc i couldn't.

It is a beautiful place. We spent time today cleaning overgrowth around placards honoring those who served. Some placards were completely covered in dirt and needed to be exposed. It would be great if some volunteer groups could do the same every three months or so. It would also be nice if the sidewalks could be cleaned periodically. These plaques mean a lot to the families of those who gave their life, limb, and sometimes their sanity so that we could all be free. I am so grateful to all who have served.
