O.S. Gray Natural Area

Park Hiking area Playground Picnic ground

👍👍 Small playground, paved walking paths. Used to be part of a pecan orchard and there are a variety of pecan & hickory trees still growing there. Definitely more a nature park than a playground park, which is so nice. Be aware that there is a lot of Poison Ivy growing on the sides of the path. Especia... People often mention park,

Small playground, paved walking paths. Used to be part of a pecan orchard and there are a variety of pecan & hickory trees still growing there. Definitely more a nature park than a playground park, which is so nice. Be aware that there is a lot of Poison Ivy growing on the sides of the path. Especially coming from the playground and taking the path to the right. It's a native plant and grows wherever it can, so learn what it looks like and keep kids & dogs out of it. Great place to look for plants & bugs! **My first 3 photos show the Poison Ivy just to he sides of the paths!

Beautifully shaded park with on and off trails for walk and run. I ran around 2 laps for one mile to give you an idea. They have swings and slides for the little ones as well. The shade helps to provide some coolness if it’s sunny. Definitely worth checking out. Only con I can think of is it’s not a big park if you want to get a long trail run.

Beautiful small park! It's perfect walking distance from our home. It has a paved trail and a dirt trail if you want to explore in the woods!

Great small park. About 1 1/2 miles paved and nearly the same unpaved.

I love this trail. My favorite part is the walk through the woods. In the spring the flowers look so beautiful. It's quiet and full of God's wonders.

Wonderful little park with short concrete and dirt trails that loop. Lots of protected wildflower areas. Many educational posters talking about the wildlife and history in/of the park.

We went to the their annual Star Party, The people who were there to receive us were very kind, this event was free, we were able to see some planets and some constellations... there were also hot dogs, hot chocolate... thanks to the people who make these events possible, to the volunteers, everyone.

Love this neighborhood park! The loop is a solid 30-40 minute walk if you take the woodsy detour

This is a great park for a walk but this time of year there are swarms of mosquitoes. They added a porta potty but not sure for how long.
