Before I moved back here, I stayed at the hotel every time I came to the bay. Danesh runs the place and he makes it feel like a home away from home. I felt like I was calling up a member of my family every time I came here and he’d be like, “hey, how’ve you been, which room would you like?” There has been a lot of quaint touches added, lemon trees, espresso machine, breakfast items. I have stayed in several of the rooms and they were all super clean. Rosea, I believe is her name, she cleans the place thoroughly and will accommodate you if you need extra make-up wipes, etc. Also, there was a new lady working the front desk at the night shift. She was so nice. All the people that work here are genuinely caring and run it like a boutique hotel. Make sure you leave them each a nice tip as it’s a great value and they bend over backward for you.

This place exceeded expectations! We booked it because of its close proximity to public transport and SFO airport and it was that, and so much more. We took the Caltrain from San Jose after the Sharks game and felt perfectly safe on the 10min walk, even though it was close to midnight. The lady at reception was friendly and kind, despite the late hour. She even offered for us to stop by in the morning before our early flight to grab a free coffee. We appreciated her asking about our flight details, to ensure we had a plan to get to the airport on time. The room itself was much bigger and luxurious than we expected. Much better than your average motel/inn! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and wifi worked great. The coffee machine, microwave and fridge were very nice touches. The best part of all - it's walking distance to the FREE 24h blue line AirTrain to SFO. Google maps directions are reliable, though the staff were also able to direct us there. Save yourself an uber trip and stay here before/after your flight!

I recently stayed at the Regency Inn in San Francisco, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. As I was searching for a hotel within my budget, I encountered a common dilemma - most affordable options in the downtown city were either outdated or inconveniently located, often with shared bathrooms. However, my luck turned around when I discovered the Regency Inn near the SFO airport. One of the first things that caught my attention was its proximity to public transportation. Being just a short 2-minute walk from the San Bruno Caltrain station, it made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Upon entering my room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness. The rooms were well-maintained and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. It was evident that the hotel took pride in keeping their accommodations in top-notch condition. The complimentary morning breakfast was a welcome addition. While it wasn't an extravagant spread, it provided a satisfying start to the day. The offerings included coffee, juice, muffins, yogurts, and even some cheese sandwiches. However, what truly set the Regency Inn apart was the exceptional staff. Dinesh, who handled my check-in, was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that the process went smoothly. I also had the pleasure of chatting with Rema at the front desk, who guided me about the transportation San Francisco. In conclusion, if you're searching for a safe and budget-friendly hotel in San Francisco, I wholeheartedly recommend considering the Regency Inn. Its convenient location near public transportation, spacious and clean rooms, and attentive staff make it an excellent choice for travelers seeking both comfort and affordability. Instead of dealing with the drawbacks of staying in downtown SF, this hotel offers a fantastic alternative that won't disappoint.

Great price, great owners, great location. Very close to San Bruno station. The one downside is that it's literally under one of the flight path's out of SFO. Couldn't really sleep.

Hidden gem. Close to airport long term parking. The owners are super nice and the rooms were spotless. Everything is right up the street or easily accessible. Coose this location for your next airport stay, you won't be disappointed!

Very comfortable and super helpful stuff. But signing into wifi every day with the same password on each device for two weeks really sucked and there is not reason for it, please fix it. Discusssed with the stuff.

Denish and his teams provide wonderful services. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and AC is greatly cool. Highly recommended this place. Plus, they are military friendly.

Loud place the airplanes fly right above this place, busy street all night long. The manager Dinesh has a great work ethic. Beds were good, there is yogurt, juices, coffee, danish serve in the morning.

I needed a close place to the car rental after arriving late to SFO. Staff was great, rooms were clean and smelled fresh and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend!

During COVID-19 this may be especially considerable, but the rooms hidden in the hallways might not have the best ventilation. But this is a problem with other hotels as well. I recommend going into the hotel and opening a window or at least turning on the fan of the air conditioner. I had to stay with my father who had the heater set to 75 degrees, which was too warm for me. Eventually, we turned the heater off and I let the cool winter air blow and ventilate the room, otherwise it was unbearable. But perhaps, given that they have excellent service for the rooms, they could maintain indoor plants by the windows close to the sunlight that can make the rooms more bearable during COVID-19.

Dinesh and Rema were both very kind and accomodating. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is an easy trip to the airport and within walking distance to Caltrain, but also to Bart if you are willing to walk a little further. Would stay here again.

Online rate says the room goes for 96$ per night. I imagine tax would bring it to 100$ and a bit. I call and the lady says for early check in and one night would be 200+ PLUS tax. Crazy.

When my family arrived at the inn, the manager, Dinesh, was very welcoming and friendly. Dinesh was also very attentive and respectful. I feel like his presence makes this inn high quality. The room was warm and the bed was comfortable. My family fell asleep early and slept in late feeling very refreshed. The parking area was bright enough to feel safe. The floor in the room was super clean. The location was superb- near Bart and near Caltrain. I would recommend it to others. I see other comments about noises. For me, it was quiet enough to sleep well.

Basic hotel good for staying at close to airport. I was meeting friends the next day and had to drop off rental car that morning. This place fit the bill. Area is noisy being right next to airport and trains, which is to be expected, but nothing that bothered me. Since planes come in over water, planes coming in over the hotel were surprisingly few. Room was clean and big. Other guests were likely in the same boat as me, needing to get up in the AM so no party problems or excessive noise issues. There's a Valero across the street to gas up before dropping off car and a convenience store a block away. Bed was comfortable and heater worked well. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Nothing fancy but I got a good night's sleep which is what I was there for. I would book again in a similar situation for sure. Cheaper and closer than other options.

Don’t believe the 2 star rating…this place is great!!! Huge room with very comfortable bed and fantastic service. A light breakfast is included in the package and it’s only a short walk to the BART metro system to take you into the city. 5 minutes from the airport - brilliant!!
