It's very beautiful and big. Although it's rushy many times. But the duck lake is beautiful and nice. Many events get conducted here. There's a lot of things to do and it's very peaceful. A must visit for everyone living in khobar or dammam.

A beautiful place to walk, cycle, picnic and meet Saudis. They love coming here with their families in the evenings and weekends. I have been invited to share barbecues on several occasions, in true Arab hospitality style. There is a place to rent bikes, and there are electric carriages for genteel rides. Obviously, this being Saudi, cafes are everywhere and if you come for a bbq, there are fixed bbqs there for public use. You'd need to get there early though at peak times. You meet some real characters here too. All kinds of sub-cultures turn up here - cyclists, bikers, anglers, footballers. It's a great place to take photos, but be respectful of Saudi's privacy, which they value highly. If you're on your own, and you fancy chatting to random strangers, this place is a great place to head.
