After months of waiting, I finally got to try out the famed Madghout at MT in Dammam with my friends. Located very close to Dammam Railway station, this restaurant is quite popular with the locals. We decided to order, 1. Camel Madgouth - SR. 55 2. Chicken Madghout - SR. 18 The ‘Camel Madgouth’ has to be the best item on their menu and it lives up to the hype. The meat is tender to the touch and tastes quite like beef but the best part of this dish is the flavourful rice. It has so much flavour that you don’t really need that much meat to enjoy it. The ‘Chicken Madghout’ uses the same rice and this too is mouth watering. The chicken just falls off the bone without much effort. I am quite disappointed with myself for not trying this place earlier. There is no family seating available and they have private cubicles with floor cushions.

In rice they have the best Madghout in the town. A juicy rice with perfectly cooked chicken. I can't describe it here. Just go and try once. You will love it.

Whenever I’m in dammam I make sure to pass by at least once. I prefer the dine in experience however take away will do. Try the madhgot Hashi(camel) otherwise chicken will do it. A side of their spicy red salad is great addition

This restaurant is in an elegant residential neighborhood. For lunch, I went to this restaurant with some friends. 👎During the lunch hour, the place becomes extremely crowded. We had to wait 20 minutes before we could enter this restaurant. 👎The majority of customers here prefer to take their orders to go rather than sit inside the restaurant. 👎Inside, there are only seven sitting areas/cubicles, which I found to be extremely congested. 👍We ordered chicken machboos in addition to haashi machboos. The Machboos taste delicious, the portion size is adequate, and the price is reasonable. 👎The only language spoken by the staff here is Arabic, and there is only one reception counter on the premises. 👎The parking space in front of this restaurant is extremely limited, making it difficult for customers to find parking.

When you are in KSA, you need to explore Authentic Arabic dishes mostly rice meals. There are different varieties in Arabic Rice. Rest of the world only knows and considered Mandi as Arabic Rice. You should try Bukhari, Kabsa, Zorbian & Madghout etc. Almost all the rice originated are from Yemen. MT means MADGHOT TOHAMA, is a very famous among locals and expats.This outlet located very near to Dammam Railway station besides Old Kuwait housing complex . This restaurant having limited dinning space and not a family friendly I would say but having partition spaces. They only have two items Camel and Chicken, Camel is best seller, unfortunately I am not a camel fan tried chicken madghout only. I would say best rice dish i tried from KSA trip after visiting multiple legendary food places in Dammam and Khobar area.

I didn't expect that it will be tasty and served really hot but the only problem the food is bit oily

Four stars for the Madghouth. 2 star’s for the service and 3 star’s for the cleanliness. If you are in search for original Arabian recipe, this one should be your next try. Madghouth means “Pressure” in Arabic which refers to the method of cooking this dish. Madghouth seems similar to other Arabian kabsa’s but it’s different method of cooking gives it a total different taste. The chicken just falls off the bone and it’s so blended with rice and trust me it’s mouth watering. If you peek into the kitchen, you can see medium pressure cooker’s lined up ready to serve.

It is always a pleasure visiting this place. One of the best tastes in the area.

One of madghout I eat in ksa and their hashi (camel) madghout is out class they have chicken variation also this restaurant is for one dish only madghout. In sweet kunafa, custard etc are available Hashi madghout 60 sar (ok for two persons) Chicken madghout 21 sar(ok for two persons) Sitting arrangement is not good small and always full during lunch time.

They have the best hashi in khobar dammam. Although their presentation of food is awkward but taste is awesome. Their rice are so juicy that you don't need any sauce except yogurt or laban. They don't have family section. Chicken madghout tastes different than hashi but both are equally tasty and loved by all nationals including pakistani and indians. Price for hashi is SR 60 but quantity is low for 2 persons and high for single person. If 3 persons are going to eat then order 2 hashis.

Wow!! It only serves Madhgout, either hashi/camel meat or chicken!! The taste is wow!! Must try once!! It’s just great!! The taste is excellent!! I can’t say how much I enjoyed it!!

Unbeatable taste and value for money.. suggested many persons and everyone is well satisfied with the taste. Should improve in seating arrangements..

I am visiting this place every now and then for madghout only which is being served here. Its very tasty here with good ambience. Today also i visited the restaurant again to have madghout. The taste is same like before.

Madghot hashi Aka camel meat is great taste is awesome better than Hashi basha. service is poor no tissue paper in eating area.

The taste is good. The the plastic they hive us leaves ink and you eat that chemical with rice/food. (See pics) I made complaint for replacement of dish. But they refused and told me to use my mind and misbehaved.

The food was on point, really delicious. The service could do with some improvement.

Good is good but service is OK... they charge for every small thing you ask like Disposable glass, tomato chutney etc

All time favourite!! Rice lovers, one of 'theee best' taste of dammam. Chicken or haashi (camel); along with beverages; sauces - makes it just splendid to enjoy the meal of the day. One full chicken tray is more than enough for 2 adults, And above all, its cheaper.. Enjoy the yemeni style of cooking.. All the best !!

Tasty food! Had camel and chicken, both were unique... Go for it if you are looking for authentic yemani food. Only issue we faced was the shop closed a bit more time during the prayers than other restaurants.

In this place the rice is steamed in a cooker, the spices get blended in the rice and meat, it is served piping hot, the rice tastes so yummy.

Saudi style food. We friends call it cooker biryani. If you are foody you should visit.
