Dammam railway station is serving eastern terminus line Dammam - Riyadh in the eastern province . The building is cleanly maintened and good Covid protocol and safe distance is maintained while booking the tickets and boarding the train . The railway employees are pleasingly serving the customers The second class tickets are quickly sold-out and are not available easily this should be planned at least 2 or 3 days before the travel. The style and decorating of the building uses elements such as traingular openings .

The most civilized public transport in Saudi Arabia. I travelled Business Class. Arrived 45 minutes before the train's departure. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Business Class lounge and snacks and drinks are free. Motorized buggy transport to the train for all elderly or families with young children. Baggage no problem. Good suitcase storage on train and no security hassles. Unfortunately train seats are worn and can't compare to most modern trains in other countries. Train was on time and managed to sleep for a few hours. Snacks including sandwiches available to buy during journey.

Had a nice trip experience. Comfortable seats but twice in my trip that i don't have foldable table in my chosen single seat. Toilet is clean and all over inside the train. They are on time when it comes to departure and arrival.

Visited the place nice and quick service with awesome facilities and many more clean place with good toilets facilities and prayer hall must try SAR service outstanding experience and feeling better range of service with nominal charges.. Trains are clean and having hassel fre connection with good English translation and announcements.. Mashallah

Totally renovated railway station. It is delighted to travel via train now. First class hall is really relaxing with light snacks, dates and Arabic coffee. First time to take the fast train to Riyadh.

Valued Services are being offered here and train timing is considerably on time. The station is very clean and tidy, no noise nor unwanted disturbances like on other stations. Rest rooms are found very tidy and all toilet accessories were available. Very cheap and vast parking lot is also available which is SAR 1 per hour. Only thing which I felt missing is the information desk or counter nor the train Schedule was not available on any o fee screen.

As train stations go, it's good. There is available parking, with correctly sized customer drop off area , the business class waiting lounge is spacious and renovated in SAR logo colors but in a tasteful manner. The size of the station reveals its true external age but with that said it does not distract from the quality of its offerings. I certainly must recommend that if you're traveling via railway from here pay extra for Business Class, the extra comfort during your wait makes it worth it especially if you're an early morning traveler. All in all, traveling by rail using SAR can be a worth while experience

Excellent service. There's a porters who can assist for luggage at free of cost. Pros: 1. Nominal fare 2. Free wifi 3. Well maintained train seats 4. Very good service Cons: 1. Foods are high price 2. Not variety of foods. 3. Seats are not recliner 4. Timing is worst

Book tickets online then enjoy the quick and safe ride by these trains. Station is well maintained and security check up and luggage scanning are quick. Trains maintain the punctuality and follow the schedule. Had a wonderful journey to Hofuf last time, maintained the peak speed of 160 Kmph for more than an hour amidst the desert area.

It’s clean and the employees are helpful, Duplicate of Riyadh station,, the Facilities are also clean. If you booked a first class ticket there’s a Lounge for that , where you can sit and wait for your trip (free beverage and pies)

Same as Riyadh railway station.. clean washrooms and waiting area.. Only drawback is that diaper changing room for kids has no basin or tap... The table is wobbly and the cleaner didnt allow me to wash my son at one of bathroom basins.. Also there is no "baqala/small departmental store" near or inside station.. In case you need to buy cold drinks/chips/biscuit you have to buy from outside somewhere, or at small cafe inside station.. or inside train...

Date of Travel: November 30, 2023 Wednesday to Riyadh A small railway station with a waiting area and a lounge for Business class passengers. There is a small grocery store and donut kiosk for snacks. There are "rent a car" services inside the station. Just wait for the announcement and go into the queue where they just scan your ticket, no ID card verification and also no security scanning. There are uniformed staff who are assisting you so that you board the right train and take right seat. The train goes with a maximum speed of 158 kms/hr as I observe in the Google Maps app. There is provision for mobile and laptop charging in both Economy and First class coaches. In Economy class coaches, there are 4 seats in each row, two on each side of the aisle. In First class coaches, there are only 3 seats in each row with two on one side and one on the other side of the aisle with a fixed table for each seat. Just like in an airplane, meal trolley services are available to buy beverages and cookies.
