Teresa is at the front desk is amazing. Professional, polite, kind and caring just like the old days at the doctor's office. Then Kevin got my info since it was my first visit. He too was professional, helpful and caring. Then I met Dr Kalina for the first time and he too made a great impression caring listening not rushing me. I could tell he cares about his patients. I am very happy to have Dr. Das as my new primary care physician. He is thorough and attentive to detail. He looks at historic records and trends and not just single test results. He listens to my concerns and preferences and accommodates them as far as possible. He is always pleasant and tactful.

Dr. Mark Kalina and also his Assistant Elizabeth Symanski are both very good and thorough. They act as my Primary Care and do an efficient job of getting Specialist referrals quickly approved with my Medicare Advantage Plan insurance.

Dr Kalina was very competent and down to earth. I felt that, unlike most doctors, he really listened and understood my needs. Kevin too was a great support as I filled out the paperwork and especially with the blood test (which was done in office and results came quickly). Looking forward to a long relationship with Dr. Kalina and his team.

I had a visit with Dr. Das and I have to say that it was the most pleasant experience I have had in a doctor’s office in decades! The staff is beyond friendly, attentive and professional, and seem genuinely happy to be there and help the patients. The doctor was caring, focused, and not rushed - best of all I did not feel like just a number. This is the way medicine should be practiced. Kudos to everyone in the Encinitas office!

The front office staff were kind and patient as my 91 year old mom was a first time patient. Elizabeth Symanski is is patient centered and it is obvious she is an excellent NP. The front office staff are exceptional as are the nurses and nursing assistants. My mom and I were concerned as she had to leave Scripps after 50 years of care since they dropped scan. We are grateful as the Pearlman staff at the Encinitas office has made every effort to make her transfer smooth and easy. Once again thank you for all you continue to do to help Jean . I have never been happy to go see a doctor until I met Dr. Das and his amazing team especially Teresa! The personalized care that these two people give me and my family is remarkable!!!!! I never have to wait for results or prescriptions to be sent out or if I have the slightest question about anything they are so knowledgeable and quick to respond to me! I would honestly absolutely never go to any other doctor. Teresa is my point of contact and she is a lightning bolt at getting back to me about any concerns I have and truly truly cares about my well-being! They are the definition of caring medical professionals!!!!!! I would give them 1 million stars if I could!!!!!

I’ve been a patient for over 25 years. I’ve received excellent care and treatment from Dr. Das and Dr. Brunst, prior to his retirement. As a matter of fact, at least 10 of my family members are also patients of this office. One of the key people that keeps their office running is Teresa. Throughout the years she’s been the standout star of that office. Always ready to help patients in every way possible. It’s these people who make the difference between a good doctors office and a great doctors office.

Madison Pachoe was very nice and put me at ease as I have been very concerned about having my bladder infection return again for the 5th time and I’m away from my regular Dr in Michigan so I appreciated her help and understanding with this problem. And the staff was so kind and very nice, even though I was a little late having had difficulty locating the office-they made me feel like this was like going to my regular Dr’s office-I was thankful for their friendly and understanding smiles.

this was my first doctors appointment as an adult because I just turned 18. They were extremely helpful with all the questions I had and we’re very polite. I was also very nervous to get my ears cleaned because my ears are very sensitive and they were extremely understanding and assuring. I was in an out in about 20 minutes and it was a super stress-free interaction. 15/10 thank you very much.

My wife and I are very lucky by choosing Dr. Mark Kalina as our family doctor. Dr. Kalina is very professional and friendly. We really appreciate his in-depth knowledge in cardiovascular aspects. We are very impressed by his offer to provide his personal phone for text messages and address any questions we may have in the future.

At the Encinitas office the personnel are all very kind and polite. I have had PA Gourab Das and I am very impressed at how well he listens and his knowledge of medical conditions.
