    Hi. I love this post office. No I’m not being paid to say this, yes I work here. I do try my best to go above and beyond for my customers. I also do my best to make an effort to help my customers, make them happy. I can only speak for myself.

    On May10, 2021, I was just finishing to tape up a box that I was mailing out to my mom. It was 5:28, the main area for sending packages out closes at 5:30. The postal worker sees me taping up the box. He could have said we close in 2 minutes. I was already done taping. Instead he half closes the doors. I asked if I could send this out quick. He said no, they’re closed. I replied it’s only 5:29. I think it’s pretty bad customer service! The USPS has become such a bad business to deal with, employees seem very unhappy. I went to The UPS Store and paid a few dollars more and was treated like a human being. I will try not to do business through the USPS if I can avoid it in the future.

    I have a PO BOX at this location for almost 3 years. Well the PO BOX belongs to my husband. Never had a problem with returns until recently. Somebody here decided to return my package to the sender even after the status was changed to "delivered". When I asked, the male staff told me because the name on the box is different than the name on the PO BOX form. He said that somebody was SMART enough to follow the policies and returned the package because it doesn't match. Sorry USPS staffs, he is telling me that these past 3 years, finally they hired 1 SMART person who actually read the guidelines and follow through with it. I argued with the male staff and just walked away since I was so frustrated and angry about the situation. I told my husband what happened and he told me that he took care the name issue when he had his first return a few years back. It was a male staff that helped him cleared the issue. He brought his business letter and since then no more issues. We've been getting letters, returns, or packages under that business name. This male staff who told me that my package is on its way to the sender told me that "luckily" I can go online and intercept the package to have the package redelivered to my new address. Guess what, I was unable to intercept the package online. I tried so many times, but nothing. So I went to a different USPS location in Van Nuys and the lady staff was so nice and helpful. I gave her the tracking information and she checked the tracking history and immediately she told me that I cannot intercept the package. And I'm like, "why, how, what?" I told her that the Chatsworth staff told me I could intercept them. So once the status has been changed to "delivered", I won't be able to intercept the package. So I guess he is not smart. I'm so lucky that the PO BOX will expire soon. We are not planning on renewing it. UPS mailbox is so much better. When I get a package, I get an email notification. The staffs are so helpful and friendly. Oh, just remember something. One time when I called them, a lady answered the phone, I think it's that lady with the short and white/silvery/grey hair. She asked me to hold, and yes she kept me on hold- for more than 40 minutes until I hang up the phone. I called again, she answered it and asked me to hold even before I said anything. And yes, she forgot about me. If you don't want to help people, just don't answer. Why bother. Or even better, just disconnect your phone service.I never like this lady. When I'm at the post office, she is rude :-( Not just to me, but to other customers too. Envelopes & boxes are either empty or near empty. I had to stand in line to get the Priority box :-(

    Every morning I see the maintain guy (I’m guessing) come out to hang the flag up and every morning he lets it hit the ground and drag while he’s attaching it to the pole. Very disrespectful, staff should inform the employees of proper ways of handling the American Flag.

    Literally the worst post office in the valley. Constantly losing packages and very unprofessional on how they handle complaints. They keep delivering my mail and packages to another location and i never see my mail and package again. I keep speaking with their supervisor Sandra which is literally the worst and she doesn’t do anything to resolve any issues. She takes your info down or pretends to and you never see your stuff again! I will be filing a complaint and a police report against them for delivering my mail to another location constantly. Very frustrating

    I like this specific USPS as it's never too busy in the middle of the day and the people that work there are nice to you as long as you're nice to them. From what I've seen The parking's pretty good. I can't say anything wrong about going here for your deliveries

    It's so stupid to lock the PO box lobby at 6:00 pm in the summertime. All they have to do is replace the door lock with a smart lock, so it can be set up to get locked automatically at different hours.

    Luis (Chatsworth office) was super nice and helpful. His supervisor tried to solve my problem. She didn't have the answer right away. She called me to say that the problem didn't have a solution. I appreciate it!!
