I was exploring through Google maps when I found this hidden place called RomBomb burgers. I find it odd that this place is not actually a restaurant, and that I will have to order a few days ahead just to pick it up, but the overwhelming 5 star reviews propelled me to place my first order. Picked up the burger and tots that Wednesday and parked my car. Took one bite from the burger and I immediately found out that I am eating a masterpiece. The first bite hits you like a bomb! An explosion of flavors from the crispy patty to the juicy soft carnalized onions. The burger sauce is amazing in holding the flavors together. I was so impressed by this burger, I had to buy the burger sauce right after eating it. This place is a must! Stop what you are doing right now and place that order!!!

Sooo Bomb! RomBomb is a next level delicious burger cult. Order online and pickup at the kitchen on wednesdays or follow on Instagram to find the pop-up locations. Also caters. Pattys are excellent, toppings excellent, buns excellent. Original fried onion, KC bbq, and garlic - so amazing, big garlic and bite. Tots good, SD sodas good, buy special sauce for home. Deserves a drive thru restaurant, but wouldn't be cult then. Well done sir!

My biggest complaint is this place is in San Diego! Please move to Pittsburgh. The taste of the burgers are delicious and unique. The tater tots are well seasoned.

This is by far my favorite burger. You have to order it online and they are super friendly. I was late to order but they messaged right away on Instagram and got me a few of their amazing burgers!

BEST burger in SD by a mile! It’s not even close. Quite possibly the best smash burger I’ve ever had as well (not just in SD). Chef is a real pro and I love the way this company is set up - so easy to order and pickup! I also have to note that the pricing is very fair.

Absolutely delicious! We came from out of town and found RomBomb through google. We were a little confused on ordering but luckily the owner is a really cool dude and he happened to have extra paddies! We got the RomBomb single and tater tots, highly recommend this place to everyone who wants a great meal!!

Hired RomBomb Burger to cater a birthday party, and it was the best catering experience ever. I had so many people come up to me and tell me it was the best burger they've ever had. Definitely recommend hiring RomBomb Burger for catering. Also, you should hit up one of their popups around San Diego! Romin's a great guy, and he makes the best burgers.

We had RomBombBurger come out for my daughters birthday and he did not disappoint! Every single burger was cooked to perfection and Romin is friendly, professional and efficient! He came early to set up and the burgers were ready right on time/early! The melted cheese mixed with his sauce and grilled onions was perfection. I ate two at the party and another for breakfast and dinner the next day. They are sooo good. I have many friends and family asking for his contact. He was a great variation to a taco man! We can't wait to book another party with him! I am now curious how all his other burgers taste so I'll definitely be stopping in when he sets up around the county too! Thanks Romin!

We recently hired RomBomb for catering a graduation party. Romin was so great to work with. He was communicative, friendly and right on time. Our guests LOVED the burgers. They are still talking about it today. Several of them are headed to his Wednesday spot and/or breweries. I have already given out referrals to a few friends for upcoming events. If you are into smash burgers, or burgers of any kind, you should definitely give him a try. I'm hoping for a brick and mortar restaurant in the future.
