The lectures are great and the people are warm and welcoming. Peaceful and calm atmosphere. Relaxing garden and seating area to reflect and meditate. Beautiful view of the San Diego Bay and the tip of Pt. Loma from the garden. Nice bookstore and gift shop. Loved the chai tea and cookies after the 11am service today.

I am new to SRF and so far has been such a great experience. The energy and people are very welcoming. As a beginner in meditation I was nervous to show up with no experience, but felt at home immediately. The San Diego SRF temple has beautiful gardens to meditate outside. I have finally found my spiritual path:)

Incredible experience for me as I am a member and cannot begin to describe how my guru has improved my life n so many ways. The grounds are impeccably maintained, with different levels and wonderful for meditation. There is a view of the ocean as well. The service on Sunday is out of doors right now due to Covid, so it is very safe. Grounds are open from nine to five for visitors. Information is available on Sundays for those interested, or go to the website. Buildings are well maintained. Great experience!

This is no longer a friendly peaceful place, where you can mediate/self realization! The grounds keeper is the worst and has a terrible attitude witch he has displayed to me on 3 different occasion. Ive gone here for many year's and loved it. ( i live 1 block up on spruce) Unfortunate they have a rude "grounds keeper" who ruined it for me why i was meditating for 10 minutes. Excuse my language but he is a complete a hole who spreads negative energy and makes it clear that i am no longer ALLOWED to meditate. Even with thousands of dollars myself and family have donated weekly over the years this grounds keeper has truly ruined my perspective of the temple now. It's a shame i really really liked the Chaplin here such a nice sincere person. Very sad. God bless the "grounds keeper" we will pray for him. God bless. But will not be returning anymore.

A beautiful, peaceful place of refuge amongst well tended landscaping and a view of the bay. There is a tone of calmness and reverence here, that's been cultivated by the great meditation master Paramahansa Yogananda.

Really quite nice. I've been to the Thursday evening services a few times now, and each visit has been a very relaxed and no-pressure experience, which is right up my alley. I'm fairly new to meditation, and this place is where I've had the most 'success'. The atmosphere is very conducive, and the lectures/sermons have been very accessible and pleasantly lacking in that old secretive woo-woo. As a person with a lifetime of not-great experiences regarding faith and God/religion, this place and the teachings of Yoganada are a very welcome and positive experience.

I've recently visited this place twice in a month . I love it ! It's location is very nice & allows a lovely & pleasant feeling during their service . They have their services outside at the time , due to covid .You can enjoy the spiritual service & natural all at the same time & it makes it all the better . Everyone is very friendly & welcoming.

I love going to the Sunday service. The messages are always great and I like the fact that they incorporate meditation in the service. They welcome all religions. The place is very peaceful and everyone is friendly.
