I
would
typically
give
Edinger
4
stars
but
effort
and
empathy
in
th
medical
profession
is
a
necessity.
I
realize
that
overall
this
is
the
fault
of
Island
Dermatology
more
than
Edinger
but
the
lack
of
care
that
I
received
from
Linda
when
I
called
was
just
really
upsetting.
I
booked
an
appointment
with
Island
Dermatology
30
days
ago
for
a
skin
cancer
screening.
They
booked
the
appointment
with
no
problem
and
did
not
say
anything
about
needing
anything
else.
But
today
22
hours
before
my
scheduled
appointment
I
received
a
phone
call
from
an
office
clerk
stating
they
needed
an
updated
referral
from
my
Primary
Care
Physician.
Island
Dermatology
should
have
requested
the
referral
at
the
time
I
scheduled
the
appointment
or
at
the
very
least
told
me
I
would
have
to
get
a
new
referral
before
they
could
schedule
my
appointment
-
THEY
DID
NEITHER.
When
I
called
Edinger
Medical
Group
to
explain
the
problem
I
was
told
I
had
to
come
in
and
see
a
doctor
before
they
will
issue
a
referral
even
though
they
haven't
seen
me
in
person
since
March
2020
because
they
were
not
doing
in
person
visits
whenever
I
scheduled
one.
Maria
at
Island
Dermatology
and
Linda
at
Edinger
Medical
Group
neither
one
wanted
to
exert
any
effort
to
do
their
job
and
provide
the
service
for
their
patient.
Now,
my
appointment
that
took
a
month
to
get
is
essentially
cancelled
and
I
am
going
out
of
town
for
2
weeks
the
day
after
so
I
have
to
start
all
over
when
I
get
back
and
wait
another
4-6
weeks
to
get
an
appointment
with
my
PCP
and
then
get
another
appointment
with
Island
Dermatology.
UNBELIEVABLY
BAD
SERVICE!
