We have been a loyal customer to Ambassador Vet for over 16 years. Actually, my parents have taken my childhood pets here. This is why I continued to come and take my furry family members. They have excellent bed side manner with our pets. Especially when we recently lost our 16 year old family member Sugar. They made the process smooth and comfortable for our senior dog. I highly recommend Ambassador Vet for your furry family member.

I got a hematoma surgery done for my dog here. After the surgery, she went to all necessary rechecks. It comes time to get her sutures removed, and as far as I know they remove them all. A few weeks go by and I notice they left a stitch in her ear embedded in the skin. They then have to lightly sedate her, and remove it. So turn around a few months later..I notice something sharp in my dogs ear..YET ANOTHER SUTURE. They left a second suture in my dogs ear. I type this as I wait for my dog to be lightly sedated for the second time to get a suture removed. Be careful people and make sure you check your own animals because they do not pay attention or take the time to be accurate clearly.

My dog needed emergency surgery and they were able to take her in right away. Any time your pet is sick it is so stressful but the Dr. Black and the vet techs were so professional and really eased my nerves. It’s warm and inviting, not like other vet offices. The examination room I got had a nice table, not those cold, metal ones others have. This is my new vet for my Maltipoo and Golden Retriever. The prices are reasonable for the services they’re providing. Thanks Ambassador LB Vets and team!

My dog has been traumatized ever since seeing Dr. Black at this place. He was so unprofessional, sedating our girl in front of us, she dropped to the ground & we didn't know if she was breathing. I also call her my baby cause that's what she is, my fur-baby & he had the audacity to tell me not to call her baby. I ended up leaving in tears & now when I try taking her to any vet she shakes uncontrollably, hides, & starts growling at the vet. Thanks a lot, I can't even cut her nails anymore, thanks for traumatizing my dog!!!

I have been coming here for a couple months now & I have been helped by Dr. Nabil Wisa twice. I wouldn’t say he is the friendliest doctor I brought my dog in to see what was wrong with his paws and I explained to him that he might be a little defensive or vocal when u touch his paws because he is in PAIN obviously. He starts to touch and examine around his paws and I’m trying to calm my dog down the doctor in no way shape or form is trying to console my dog or reassure him that he is okay. Then Dr. Wisa has the audacity to tell me I need to work on my dogs behavior because he has me “tied around his fingers”. That definitely rubbed me the wrong way as if he sees my dogs behavior on a daily basis. You would think a veterinarian would understand dog behavior and how when they are uncomfortable sometimes they react defensively. Don’t know if I will continue coming here if he continues to be a Doctor there, I don’t feel comfortable bringing my pet around him.

My baby dog broke a leg and after calling many places I'm glad I came accross Ambassador they took us in same day as it was an emergency and prices were very low compared to others. They took care of my puppy right away and the service has been awesome. I will defenitely recommend this place as it truly shows their love for animals. After surgery when due for checkups they will ensure my baby was feeling calm before checking him ... that was a huge plus..... thank you all at Ambasador Hospital

We have considered the Ambassador Veterinarians and staff as family during our time in Long Beach. The love and care that was showed all our dogs and us over the past 6 years has been amazing and professional, especially during the challenging time of Covid. They always did their very best every time, and when 3 of our Dogs were at the end of life so much compassion was shown to us. And with our new addition Mia, even though she is a handful, they made her as happy and comfortable as could be. We will miss you as we move back to Texas and hope we find a vet as caring as you all have been. Especially Dr Black, we thank you so so much for your no nonsense approach and vast knowledge you we’re always so willing to take the time to share.

I highly recommend Ambassador. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. Marisol the manager is a special person. You can feel the love she has for her job, the pet she cares for the of course the pet parents. The staff at Ambassador do their best to keep our pets healthy and when the sad time time comes to say goodbye, Ambassador is very caring and sensitive. I truly appreciate everyone and all they have done for me and my pets.

The room was dirty not sanitize at all . I took my dog and 2 cats Doctor when in and checked all 3 in less than 3 min. Also , the cats where not weight, I had to ask for them to do it. I dislike that my dog was taken away to another room to receive a vaccine. I'm definitely not taking my pets there again 😒

I recently had the privilege of taking my Labrador-Pit Bull mix Sasha, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care we received. My dog required eye surgery, and the hospital went above and beyond to provide prompt and compassionate treatment. Dr. Michael, the attending veterinarian, was not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate. They took the time to thoroughly explain the surgical procedure, its risks, and the expected outcome. Their expertise and genuine care instilled confidence in me and reassured me that my dog was in capable hands. One aspect that truly impressed me was the hospital's commitment to providing immediate care. They understood the urgency of my dog's condition and managed to schedule the surgery for the same day. Not only did they provided good care, but they also proved to be affordable without compromising quality. As a pet owner, finding affordable veterinary services that don't compromise on excellence can be challenging. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking prompt and compassionate veterinary care. The warm and efficient staff, the expertise of Dr. Michael, and the hospital's commitment to affordable excellence make it an outstanding choice. Whether it's an urgent situation or routine check-ups, this is a place where you can trust your furry companion will receive exceptional care.

Ambassador was recommended by a friend. On May 29th, Memorial Day, we took our 8 year old lab, Shadow, in to Ambassador Vet as an emergency drop in. We can’t thank them enough. We found a very friendly office staff and we were seen quickly. Medical staff was knowledgeable, efficient, and communicative. Our pet was shown the upmost care. Follow up calls by the vet were most welcoming. We look forward to visiting Ambassador Hospital for our pet’s future needs. We highly recommend them.

Ambassador has been our long term vet. They've seen us through many furry family members. They've always been kind and patient with our pets. Recently they performed an at home euthanasia on our beloved Sierra. They were really comforting in our time of grief. I can't imagine anyone else doing it. Thank you for all the years of care you've provided for our babies.

The staff was awesome. Very friendly. I called requesting pain medication for my dog after my visit on 12/22. I saw Dr. Meina on 12/27 who examine Willie (dog) and he provided him with two injections and meds to take home along with his diagnosis. He was very thorough and showed compassion. Willie is doing better and we have a follow-up appt. in a week. I appreciated the time he took to make sure Willie would be comfortable after he returned home. My earlier comments of Dr. Wisa was edited due to sometimes an interaction between Dr. and pet owner falls short when the owner is cut out of the decision making. I personally appreciate the Dr's opinion but not when information is withheld from me no matter what the reason and my decision to make is removed. Thank you.

First time visiting this facility. Emergency visit for our small senior dog having seizures. The staff was so nice and friendly. We saw Dr. Black who was kind, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We couldn't be happier with the treatment our dog received.

We came to this vet hospital with great urgency. We were happy to find a vet that was open on a holiday. I called a lot of clinics and were closed. We took my two puppy chihuahuas without an appointment and didn't take long for them to be seen. While I was there, I saw that everyone cares about all fur babies and it's not about making money like other vet clinics that I've gone to for services.

Only been twice but the care and affordability were quite nice. I had a spay and hernia fixed in a cat. Friendly, with capacity and open 6 days a week for regular business and the 7th for boarding.
