Mixing men and women is Inappropriate. What is this masjid doing?

The Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC) in Garden Grove is a wonderful place of worship and community. ISOC's facilities are remarkable, with large prayer halls, clean and well-maintained restrooms, and enough of parking. The Friday prayer service was both touching and memorable. The imam's talk was thought-provoking and intelligent, and the prayer itself was a wonderful and serene moment of reflection and unity. Aside from prayer sessions, ISOC provides a range of community programs and events, such as Quran classes, youth programs, and community service opportunities. The people here are nice, welcoming, and part of a welcoming community.

First thing mixing women and men which is not acceptable at all, I really don't know what is going on here, second thing juma prayer is never on time you know people have strict schedule they should preform juma prayer on time, and avoid mixing men and women

Great mosque with many things to do; includes a food bank, a bookstore/small shop, a private school ranging from preschool to high school, a weekend school, a mortuary, and even more. Friday prayers are always held, and one can expect high quality in regards to the actual masjid area. Bathrooms and other areas have significantly improved in regards to cleanliness.

Alhumdulilah, the Sunday tafseer and Fiqh Classes I attended are the best before Zuhr, amazing place for Islamic books 📚 , charity, Islamic school 🏫 and of course prayer and a place which is an oasis of tranquility and peace ✌️ Edit Ramadan 2022: daily iftar is available, there will be taraweeh prayer with 1 and 1/4th juz or para for the 1st 4 days and then 1 juz each day to conclude on the 29th of Ramzan 🌙 Mask 😷mandate still in place in the main musalah when praying and only water allowed in the prayer area

You can tell there's a great community here based off the masjid and its facilities. It looks well kept, clean and organized. They have a school, a cool coffee shop, book store, thrift store and plan community events like the winter fest which is coming up in Feb.

Very beautiful Mosque from the outside ☪️

One of the best mosque in California. I drive from Northridge just to have my tarawee here and makes me feel like I’m in the grand mosque in makka. May Allah bless the people who are taking care of this place and they are doing a great job at this.

A large and beautiful mosque in which there is a school and teaching students of all ages, open all day

One of the best mosque and islamic center in the area of garden grove, must visit once if you’re in the area, very sweet ,humble and helpful people here.

ISOC is a beautiful masjid that works hard everyday to keep us Muslim a community together and welcoming. I don't live close to the masjid, but I love coming here! May Allah bless you all for doing such a great job in keeping us together

I am thoroughly impressed with the Islamic Society of Orange County. This well-organized and disciplined establishment has truly set the bar high when it comes to community gatherings. I had the privilege of attending their recent Eid gathering, which was nothing short of spectacular. Despite the thousands of guests in attendance, the event ran like a well-oiled machine. The attention to detail in organizing such a large-scale event was truly commendable. The Eid gathering was a true celebration, filled with an abundance of delicious halal food that catered to a variety of tastes. The thoughtful inclusion of numerous activities for kids added an extra layer of enjoyment, making it a family-friendly affair. It's evident that the Islamic Society of Orange County understands the needs of the Muslim community and goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all. For Muslims in the area, this is undoubtedly a go-to place. The dedication to providing meaningful experiences and fostering a sense of community is unparalleled. I can't wait to attend more events and continue to be a part of the wonderful initiatives organized by the Islamic Society of Orange County. Five stars without a doubt!

Really nice Masjid, it's difficult to find your way around if you are a first time visitors. As there is a school and shop etc on the site. I really enjoyed the Jumma khutba It was hilarious to watch some of the perisherners scrambling like lovestruck teenagers to get pictures with the local mayor. He was treated better than the president of the US. I appreciate they have a good relationship and albeit completely part of the community, it was nice to see that and to me that is what Islam is about. They also have regular events.

Beautiful place filled with love and sakina.

Expansive mosque with food options and plentyful parking. Lots of things for kids, basketball court and a soccer field. The inside is clean and the wash areas are spotless.

One of the best place of worship in California. Used to go there when I lived in Anaheim in1980. Used to go to Islamic center of California in Los Angeles on Fridays and to Garden grove in the evening & Sundays.

The water lace for muslim to pray and learn islamic studies for children

The guy taking care of the masjid is super nice.

They have best arrangement for social distancing. SOPs are strictly followed. The volunteers and staffs are doing great job in keeping the place safe and clean. I have never seen that much clean restrooms in any of the masjids(photo attached) . JazzakAllah
