This was the original Zero Km Monument before the another one to the north was built. There are two identical monument, one in Sabang, another one in Merauke, Papua, marking the western most and eastern most point of the Indonesian archipelago. This monument is in the Sabang city itself. Another Zero Km Monument is to the north, which is actually NOT the true western most point; it is just a symbol only because there is still an island to the west of Weh, which is the true western most island of Indonesian archipelago.
