Mom wanted ice cream and so when I walked into this Key West Shaved Ice business that stated there's homemade ice cream I was surprised to find out that the former Jaxson's ice cream maker, Cleveland was now here. I ordered the Rocky Road Ice Cream in a cup for Mom and it was a large portion for the $5 I paid. I had to try the Vanilla for myself although I was sure that we could not eat all this ice cream but we were going to try. It was fabulous. I building is very colorful and you can't miss it as you travel down US 1 in search of delicious dessert.

Amazing ice cream!!!! The ice cream maker worked at Jaxsons for 40 years and his recipes are amazing. I had the $5 bowl of ice cream which includes two flavors. The cookies and cream tasted very fresh and had chunks of Oreos. The mint chip was made with large chocolate chunks and was delish. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were served immediately. They offer samples! They also serve shaved Ices. This is a must place to visit, if you like quality ice cream. The $5 serving is huge! The staff was friendly and didn’t rush our order.

I had a yummy Rootbeer float & hubby had a hot fudge Sunday. The vanilla ice cream is the best I’ve ever had! Creamy & full of flavor. Owner was very friendly & fun to talk to. Very busy place with smiling faces. Our first time but certainly not our last. Can’t wait to try other flavors!!! All the ice cream is homemade & so many to choose from! Wonderful experience here after a disappointing trip to Jackson’s right before. Incredible ice cream that’s homemade. They don’t charge extra for the waffle cone and hand out very large servings. This is the place to get great ice cream!

Really good homemade ice cream. Kids love the shaved ice. AND they can add booze to your treat! Parking can be difficult, but it is worth it. They have the best milkshakes.

This place was packed! A waffle cone with two humongous scoops of homemade ice cream. I know this combo sounds gross, but whatever. I do what I want and like what I like lol. I had coffee and rum raisin with colored sprinkles which they sprinkled on top and also put in a small container for me to dip into. The waffle cone was so fresh and crunchy - definitely not laying around getting stale. The portion was way too much for 1 person, but I mustered through it like a champ (or a glutton). I prefer champ! It was Memorial Day weekend. ‘Mercia !

Both the shaved ice and ice cream was delicious. The service was amazing. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

This was a really neat place. My fiancée and I were visiting from Orlando and decided to stop in. I love snow cones and they're hard to find in Florida. (Florida likes Italian ice) This place had true shaved ice. The man running the shop was very friendly and welcoming. The prices were a little steep but that's alright when you know your money is going directly to this small business owner. The paintings and mural were very cool. This is all around a great place!

The decor was thoughtfully done. I loved the details, such as the leather placemats, ceramic plates, and steak knives. It was a lovely experience walking into such a pretty restaurant.

Wow! I finally can go inside (while there was a pandemic, they shut off the place and didn’t let go anyone inside). Now we can finally go inside and enjoy not only the most delicious ice creams together with homemade shaved ice but the whole atmosphere inside. The inside interior is very beautiful, good looking and very refreshing after a hot weather in our South Florida. The staff is super friendly and welcoming! I love the chairs inside as well! Just sitting there and enjoying a beautiful weather! I believed they raised a price a little bit, now a small cup of ice cream (2 scoops) now are $6 instead of $5. Yet, its still better and much affordable that the places around. The only thing I wish they will give a receipt of itemized items so I can keep track of it. Nowadays ppl saves lots of receipts in order to get some points/rewards from such apps as Fetch rewards, Coin out, receipt hog and many more. So please, at least ask if a person need a receipt or not.

My husband and I love coming here, we live right down the block. Birthday cake and cookie dough is our go-to. The ice cream is super creamy (similar to coldstone style) but tastes homemade and delicious. We love treating ourselves here :)

Oh so yummy homemade ice cream with a key west vibe! Let us try samples of the ice cream, explained what things were on the menu and all with a smile! They even have frozen cocktails yumm!!!! 100% recommend

Shaved ice and ice cream is amazing, love the fact that it’s not too sweet, most icecream would be mostly sugar but this had a great BALANCE, what’s also great is how big the amount is. Sorry we started eating before we took the picture.

Stopped by here while on this side of town because I had it in my saved and wanted to try it out! Richard was really nice and the shop was really clean! His wife stopped in to visit with him shortly and she was also VERY sweet! He recommended what I should try (alcoholic, of course 😜) and it did not disappoint!!

We drive thirty minutes to get there, and is worth it. We love it! Creamy and delicious.

This is the best place to eat some local ice cream together with a homemade shaved ice. The prices are very affordable. Five dollars for a small shaved ice, and six dollars for a small cup of two ice cream scoops. My kids love going there and eat my shaved ice, even though they got their own ice cream 😅. It’s a little pricey when you have kids and you buy yourself too, but I hope we can get some tradition once or twice in a month to go there and eat their delicious food.

We were visiting the Hollywood area and wanted some good ice cream near the beach. We definitely found it here. We loved their homemade creamy ice cream so much we went twice during our four day vacation!! All the flavors are amazing and the owner is very friendly. Highly recommended by all 7 of us!
