Hi I am Jack and wanted to let you know that Hollywood Dog Beach Park is great for people too.. I had a FUN time and made new friends although it was my first time here. To visit there's a few reasonable requirements for us (like have a rabies shot) and you (just help pick up after us) to enjoy the beach. There is a posted "Fee/Pass" requirement but no info on where to pay or to get the pass. Would be nice if you could just do it online.. maybe there is. It was my first time to swim in the ocean and I really enjoyed the warm clear water which was nice. If I were you I would definitely bring your owner's here. Woof, woof!

Nice beach to go with your fur family member; everyone that I encounter is very nice, people pick up after their dogs, and it is an overall peaceful place to go and enjoy watching your dog play and make new friends. It's exceptionally lovely to encounter people that are compassionate and loving towards dogs. Robert is the "dog whisper" of the beach, always smiling and greeting people. The hours can be confusing, but I just go to watch the sunrise.

I visited a few weeks ago for my pups first trip and we had so much fun! Parking was easy to find on a Sunday afternoon and the beach is beautiful. Everyone there was super nice and the dogs well trained and playful. Everyone seems to sit farther back and the majority of the sand is for the dogs to run around. I will definitely be back! Also online it was hard to find information on the hours but it seems like you can go any day at anytime with your dogs.

Went on a Friday afternoon, no issues with parking. It’s $4 an hour on the side street where we parked. The beach is beautiful. There’s shells all along the shoreline. Lots of dogs! What I really liked was how respectful everyone was to each other with their dogs. Maybe we got lucky or maybe it’s like this all the time but that really made the experience that much more enjoyable! Definitely recommend going. Can’t wait to go back!

Great beach in Hollywood, just north of Sheridan Street, where you can bring your dog. The dogs run freely. Lots of dogs in for the most part they play very nice together. The beach is open for dogs Friday through Sunday 4 PM-8 PM.

Our boys have lots of fun here! I just wish other people would learn to control their dogs. We stopped multiple dog fights (not our dogs) if your dog is aggressive KEEP IT ON A LEASH. also do not bring your dog on a 20 foot leash!!

We had an absolute blast taking our corgi to the beach for the first time. I was planning to let him go off leash, but as soon as we got there a big dog immediately tried to mount him and his owner was nowhere to be found. So I kept him on leash. He still had a blast and played with another little corgi and a few other dogs.

The dogs can run and swim free!! It gets crowded sometimes especially on weekends. I like to go early on weekdays to beat the crowd. Most people are attentive to their dogs so there’s no foolishness. A little small but the dogs can go any day or time (during beach hours). It’s clean. People pick up the poop and there are bags on the beach. Luke always has a great time!!

pAwesome little place for dogs to be dogs, and everyone's pretty cool too. To sum it up it's a "Karen" free zone

Great beach to take your dogs off leash. Most everyone cleans up after their dogs and are very friendly. I've never had any problems at this beach. The dogs love playing in the water and running with other dogs!

We’ve been twice,it’s nice. Went about 10am each day. Thursday most dogs off leash but we’re friendly and about 20 people set up towels, etc. Friday less people due to rain/storm forecast much better time due to white caps, crashing waves and the breeze.

A little crowded in the dog beach area. Parking is kind of limited. Lots of seaweed in the water and on beach. All nice people and well behaved dogs while we were there.

Beautiful beach, nice people & friendly dogs! We’ve become regular visitors since adopting a 5 month old Great Dane. One hour of running & splashing through the waves is great exercise for this puppy. After a bath he sleeps all day!

Parking can be great! …..if you find a spot. The beach is clean thanks to plenty of garbage can access. I have had great experiences with other dogs and their humans. Harvey loves his beach days !

Oh my gosh. This is the dirtiest dog beach I have ever seen. Soooo disgusting. Now I understand why most of beaches don't allow dogs.... Dog's pee and poop smells everywhere....

I love bringing my dog on Sunday mornings and setting up a tent. Lots of fun. Parking runs about $10 for my normal Sunday of about two & a half hours or so. So many friendly people & dogs. If you find 100 dogs on the beach, only two or three may be a bit aggressive.
