Runas is a Peruvian cuisine located in downtown Hollywood, it has free parking (a few spots) at the back of the restaurant. You can find a lot of parking spaces in front of the restaurant with a parking meter. The the new location is next to the oldest one. We went there with our friends (for the first time) and we had such a great time. We all ordered ceviche( 1 classic mixt, and 2 Runas) and I got to say, I’m quite impressed with the size portions ( big), each bowl was so fresh, tasty, and delicious!! Pro: Affordable prices! The service is excellent also, definitely coming back!

Once you get in you may be hesitant to sit, the place is kind of scary, but if you are brave enough the food make it all worth it! Everything we ordered was delicious and cook perfectly! Must try: Mariscos a la Parilla + lobster tail, Causa with octopus and crab, and Ceviche special mixed. Overall good experience. Place, service and ambiance 3 stars. Food 6 stars. Price decent.

One of my favorites! Always fresh. Ceviche is packed with fish. I like it spicy and they never disappoint. Service is excellent and always helpful. Have a drink at the bar… rumor has it, it was a gift from Al Capone!

1st time here. Atmosphere very nice. Food was on point. Surprisingly not so busy for lunch. It has more of an evening club feel.

This was my first experience with Peruvian cuisine, thanks to my Peruvian friend and her wonderful uncle, who is one of the chefs here - my mind was blown. The service was great and the food was nearly perfect - it was a life changing experience... *chef's kiss*

We had the best lunch ever here. The lunch specials for 15.99$ with one app and one main its amazing! We had the appetizer with potatoes and then the main with beef rice and fries. Amazing! Sushi was great, better than some japanese places closeby so I would definitely recommend this place!!!

i have mixed feelings about this place. As far as their food and drinks go it doesn’t disappoint. Food is very good and flavorful and their drinks are very good as well. I think their staff needs better hospitality skills and need to pay more attention to detail. Also if you dont speak Spanish you will be completely lost as theyre waiting staff assumes that everyone who walks inside is suppose to speak spanish. Everything ese is fine, I will return.

I recommend this restaurant (Boca Raton-FL) for “ceviche”. 1st time here. Atmosphere nice. We try different ceviches (CEVICHE SAMPLER) and was really good!! The service by the female waiter (from DR) was excellent. You can eat at the patio area (see picture)or inside. If you have Kids you will find a Kid’s section on the Menu (3 options, see photo). We were 5 and we spent less then $300. My sister order CHAUFA TRADICIONAL and the rice was uncooked. We change it for RISOTTO DI MARE and was delicious. -Surprisingly not so busy for dinner-

Only two stars because looks like they have a good cheff (food taste was good) but he wasn’t around and the cook prepping my food doesn’t know what medium well meat is (see pic). Also I ordered the food to go and the guy taking the order over the phone ask me 2 times to leave a tip even though is to go food… but he couldn’t make sure my meat was cook properly, me and my wife had to guess which food belong to who and forgot to leave my spicy sauce on the side for me to add myself to the ceviche… I don’t think I will return to this place

Love love love this place! From decor, service, live entertainment, and most importantly the Peruvian food flare. Came here for my husbands birthday with our family and everyone’s plate was excellent. Great hidden Hollywood gem not on the downtown strip.

Quality of food is excellent. I ordered Rissotto Gratinado . Very good and yummy . Also We ordered Chaufa Runas. 5 stars. Jessica was our waitress. Very sweet and nice. Nice ambiance with background music . Sour pisco is recommended.

This is a must visit restaurant! We went in for a late lunch. The food was amazing and since it was somewhat slow we got to hear a lot of the history of their unique location in Hollywood's first City Hall, built in 1924. Count yourself lucky if you get Jessica for a server.

I Love this restaurant! The building has an amazing history but the food there is very delicious 😋 one of the best Peruvian food! In all Florida USA 🇺🇸 the ceviche muy rico! Los picarones y anticucho wonderful! Súper jugosos… pero el seco de res one of the best food 🥘 that I preferred! you have all this and most important the very nice people working there! The manager Angel! The waitress Jessica! Bryan! His buddy! Hector! Panita! Bartender Jose! And all the amazing staff at the kitchen thank you! They always treated me like a family! Visited on Friday evening where they had live music. Music was a little loud but bearable. A bit dark inside but present an ambiance for romantic dinners. We did not care for the service as our waitress was slow and did not come back to offer to refill water or another drink. May go back again but highly unlikely. It was not for us but it may be for you. Best of luck on your trip there.

Last Saturday, we celebrated our friends' wedding anniversary. The nostalgic ambiance took us through various decades. The drinks were perfectly balanced with alcohol, and the CHAUFA RUNAS, was amazing. The egg was perfectly cooked, and the seafood was well-seasoned. The juicy tenderloin was also excellent. Diego, our attentive server, ensured a great experience. Overall, the food was very delicious, and, naturally, I sampled from our table.😁

I tried the Ceviche Runas and Chaufa Runas. The ceviche was tasty and it didn't taste like a classic ceviche, so it took me a couple tastes to get used to. The Chaufa Runas was pretty average, the sauce was a little salty, the meat was tough, and the rice itself was a little bland. The portion was good, but I don't think I would order that again. They had live music the Friday evening I went, and it really set the mood. The restaurant wasn't too busy so we didn't have to wait to be seated.

Had an fantastic dinner here with my family, every dish was so flavorful and delicious…such an unforgettable meal! Would totally recommend the ceviche which was packed with so much fish and the risotto (one of the best risotto I’ve had!)

We arrived for late dinner on a Saturday night but were quickly seated. We were given the option for dining room vs taverna area seating where they have the bar and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. We opted for the dining room, which was quieter while we were able to still hear them live music from this area. They have tonnes of seafood options on the menu. We ordered the pulpo antechucos which did not disappoint. Sous vide octopus was grilled and brushed with a delicious sauce. It came with fried potatoes and corn. The ceviche was very fresh and had lots of fish, shrimp, calamari in it. I was sadly less enthusiastic with the grilled mahi mahi which was sadly overcooked. For dessert we enjoyed a large alfajor, which was tender and crumbly like shortbread and filled with a subtly sweet dulce de leche filling. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for delicious seafood in a lively atmosphere.

We have visited this restaurant in the past. This visit honestly surpassed any previous visit. Upon arrival we realized that the decoration of the restaurant had been upgraded to a nice cozy yet modern field with music that complemented the location and the ambience. We got greeted by the hostess and seated rapidly for our dinner reservation. Shortly after sitting down our server came to our table, introduce himself, and took our drink orders. I realize that there was a brand new menu of custom cocktails created by this restaurant so I decided to try one. I wasn’t familiar with all the ingredients but I took a leap of faith and I ordered a cocktail that included chicha morada purée and it was refreshing and just bitter enough. We proceeded to order two dishes. Being a Peruvian restaurant we opted for a trio of Ceviches. We also order a dish that we were not familiar with but it looked very innovative. It was a risotto with huancaina and lomo saltado. The ceviche was mixto (mixed seafood) and it included 3 types of ceviche. Being from Peru I’m very critical when it comes to the foot of my country, the ceviche was perfectly chilled, it was perfectly spicy, and the seasoning was spot on. The cuts in the fish were precise and proper, the seafood mix was not over cooked. The presentation was just beautiful, this was a true pleasure to eat. Now onto the risotto. I didn’t know what to expect from this dish but the combination sounded very enticing. At first I took a fork and I tasted the sauce on top, the Los Altos sauce. That sauce along can be put on a car bumper and I would eat it, it was that delicious. The risotto was cooked to perfection, creamy, cheesy and well seasoned. The huancaina flavor holds its place against the lomo saltado sauce. The meat was cooked medium as requested, and the sautéed onion and tomatoes has an incredible “saltado” aroma that rounded off the dish making it a total hit for it. Overall the visit was top notch, wrapping it up by the owner/head chef coming out to check on his food, sharing with us he personally made the dishes, so we were able to show our compliments. I strongly recommend Runas for a fantastic Peruvian meal and drinks. We will be back.

Oh my gosh I had the most delicious dinner this evening! Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the plate I had, but it was amazing! Very well served and the taste was just soooo good! It was rice and seafood topped with pickled onions. I also tried a Causa sushi roll with crab meat...yum!😋

Tried Runas Peruvian Cuisine for lunch after enjoying The Boca Raton Hotel for the weekend . The food was amazing, i tried the Risotto on Huancaina sauce with filet minion wow pleas tried if you can. The pisco sour was on point and the service was great even though we were a table of 8. Will definitely come back again.

Wanted to try everything on their menu. Great ambiance, service and presentation. Its interior design is very special and different. Enjoyed live entertainment too. Definitely will be back.

The waiters and other staff service are awesome. I was treated like an special guest. My wife was delighted of this restaurant. Definitely we are coming back. I highly recommend this bar and restaurant.
