Wow, when did Miramar turn into this. When you Dade you don't know these things. This is impressive. Looks like the people have it right. Kudos to the people. This is a beautiful facility. Money well spent. I will be attending more of your events. It's worth the drive to see.

Went for my daughter's kindergarten graduation. They do a security check, so be sure to get there early. They have an elevator for wheelchair access. The stage is spacious, and the sound system was great! Their staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The city of Miramar has an absolutely phenomenal cultural center. They have a variety of events and happenings going on monthly. Their team and staff are outstanding and I highly recommend you check them out.

I had my wedding September of 2022, had it here because Iv been to this venue multiple time to watch performances here and loved it it so much i knew I wanted my wedding here and that it wasn’t far from home. I had a beauty and the beast themed ,so the venue was perfect at the time to give a kinda vintage vibe to, we had a blast ! Best night ever ! The servers and the staff that night were AMAZING !!! Definitely recommend ! However ! I did have some bumps which did make my wedding experience incredibly stressful as a BRIDE. FIRST, i fell in love with this place because there was free parking right across the building, the day i had signed to have my wedding there they told me they were doing construction and it would be done by the time my wedding started which was not true and was a huge sore eye for my guest with a huge construction being built with apartments right next to it and was never offered a lower price. I had to go through everything through a lady named Marcia, incredibly sweet lady however throughout my whole wedding process she stressed me out in numerous ways, I had already told her the way I wanted the venue set up she wrote it down we did it together she told me I would get an email copy of a 3D version of the layout which I never received. She then called me THREE times to ask if we went over the layout which she had the papers to, which made me feel like she lost them or was disorganized which was worry some. I had asked her since the day I signed ! If I could get a second dressing room for my groomsmen she told me she will check when the date got closer she never did and never asked even though I repeatedly asked her and the dressing room was given to another event right next to mine and I would of happily paid extra if it didn’t mean my poor groomsmen had somewhere to be, they had to set up or stand in the beginning of the event. They had to leave their stuff in a hallway on the floor. I also had asked Marcia MONTHS in advance if I could do a ceremony rehearsal for walking down the aisle since my wedding was INDOOR she told me SURE I could come the day (after already making me change my initial wedding rehearsal day) before my wedding at 10am for an hour since they had another event setting up that morning as well. The morning I came all doors were locked, security had no idea I was coming ! And then the day of my wedding she called me to tell that I was suppose to do the rehearsal outside, when I specified I wanted to practice INDOOR AND EVEN moved the rehearsal day because the day i originally wanted she said they were busy and had an event, and moved the date so i can practice INDOOR. She gaslit me and told me i was suppose to practice outside of venue if that was the case i would have just practiced at home. It was outrageous and incredibly stressful for me and my party. A couple of months before the wedding I got an email of the total amount of the overall total of the venue, it didn’t look right to me so I had messaged Marcia and asked if the number was correct she stated whatever was in the email was the correct amount. A month before my wedding I’m paying the whole thing off and she tells me I’m missing around 2,000 because the email she sent me was indeed not the whole price and that I needed to click on another link that was not informed of to get the whole amount. Thank God the manger was there and offered me a couple of more days to get the money, but outrageous after all she’s put me through to not waive the fee I still ended up paying it even though I had PROOF of the email of her error. Don’t get me wrong I definitely recommend the venue it’s stunning ! The staff on my wedding night was so accommodating and WONDERFUL I had zero complaints from that. But, when comes to a wedding planner organizer i would just ask for a more responsible person to be in charge of that department or someone who cares for the needs of the bride.Thank you so much again Miramar Cultural ! We certainly did have a BLAST ! Food was delicious! Salmon was the guests favorite !

I took my family for the Juneteenth celebration and we had a blast. All the vendors, the entertainers, and the food was amazing. We got there early so the tables were accessible and there was little to no wait for the activities.

My daughter and I visited for a play last week. Got seats on the third floor. View and sound were excellent. It was our first time there and definitely will come back for more.

Great venue, easy free parking. The theater is small enough where there are no bad seats. Good acoustics, only wish there were more bathrooms. They are only on stage right, however, the bathrooms weren't as packed as they get at Broward Center. I'll keep watch to see what other activities they have since I enjoy the venue.

This Center is a community minded property. It has multiple purposes of which I am not familiar. My interest is their performance arts forum. As such, it is adequate on a local (auditorium, not theater) level. A small venue for a local family crowd. This neighborhood has changed drastically by new construction, what looks like apt living. It detracts and crowds the Civic Center but that's progress. The theater has comfortable seating with the usual theater amenities. The only draw for me would be an attractive show which now is scarce. The last performance I saw "On Your Feet" did not belong there. This professional performance and troupe commanded a much larger audience in a much bigger and better Broadway stage.

I love the development center and how it has a court yard area that can hold space for outdoor activities. The fact that there's a plaza and police department, etc inside of a neighborhood complex is unique and makes it convenient for those living in the community.

The theater rental director Jessica Gloria is extremely unprofessional! I have called her various time's and left her countless voice messages, I even filled the online application and it took her a month to call me back, all I wanted to do was secure a date for a dance recital. What I don't understand is why is there only one person in charge of rentals? I got ahold of other staffs but they would say you have to speak with Jessica she's the only one that can do rentals, so I would tell them I have tried to reach her but I'm not having any luck and they would simply say there's nothing I can do Jessica is the only person in charge of rentals and unless you speak with her we can't do anything to help you. How hard is it to call someone back? In my opinion if Jessica is too busy there should be someone else that can help with rentals as her backup.

It is a beautiful facility. We attended the UMOJA festival which celebrated the african cultural. The facility is clean and inviting. The workers were helpful and people had a great time with all the different plays and dancers and I look forward to returning. Zabba Designs african clothing was present bringing african clothing and accessories to the festival

I've attended community events here before yet most recently the monthly meeting for the Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA), with a special presentation on mens health and prostate cancer, Dr. Angelo Gousse, MD.

A great place to celebrate Weddings and Events, the Miramar Cultural Center offers several unique spaces that allow everything to take place at one location. A lakeside ceremony, or an intimate one by the garden gazebo. Host your Cocktail reception inside the gallery, lakeside or in the grand plaza out front. When it's time to party, the ballroom space is plenty for small to large events.

I truly enjoyed the panel discussion in celebration of Black Business Month held tonight! It was great to see so many people of color show up and join in on the conversation involving businesses owned by people of color! Great work!!
