Western canteen within Prashanthi Nilayam, serves clean hygiene western food at a very reasonable rate. Queues can be long depending upon time/day.

The Pure Veg Western Canteen (foreign canteen) in Satya Sai Baba's Ashram at Puttaparti is very clean hygienic. They offer various dishes according to the days. They serve brekfast, lunch & Dinner. There are two different halls for men and women. 80% of the work is done by ladies & gents Sevadal (volunteers). They have good permanent cooks. The list of the menu is very big according to days. Few of them which I have tried are bread pizza, pasta varieties, various fruit juices, carrot juice, assorted fresh breads, puddings, milk shakes, variety of ice creams, burger, dals of various cereals, French fries, fruit custards, brown rice, mint rice, jeera rice, lemon ginger tea, coffee, cakes, pastries, brownies, pulav, milk, curd, curd salad, mayonnaise salad, butter milk, mineral water etc. They maintain utmost hygiene. The rates of the dishes are unbelievably cheap. One can have full lunch/dinner with variety of dishes in & around ₹100. It's prasadam from Swami.

Nice place to have food, some of them at very reasonable price. I enjoyed toasts, cheese cake, salads, variety of rice, pulses, burrito, noodles and cookies. Timings for breakfast is 8:00-9:00, 9:30-10:30 am. Lunch from 12:30 to 2:30. Dinner 6:30 to 8:30. The menu and price is displayed on a white board. It's a self-service and separate area for male and female. You have to leave footwear outside. Outside food is not allowed. You can pay by cash or swipe. This place not wheelchair accessible.

The taste is fine and the cost is also affordable. I have chosen red rice, rajma beans curry and pasta for my lunch which cost me around 90. Red rice - 15 (approx) Rajma curry - 15 (approx) Pasta - 60 (approx)

Western country is one of the best place inside sai baba mandir to have continental food. There are many varieties and food is good. Here you will get dishes that are generally not available anywhere. Items are specially made so that the foreigners can have food of different country origin in this place. Indians can enjoy the food very well. Food is less spicy and healthy.

Very good quality verities of food considering choices of overseas devotees. Reasonable price. Good service. Location of Western Canteen is good. Well maintained. Hygienic.
