It’s the 2 nd Jagajjanani temple in the world . And it’s more popular temple in Nandyal & it’s surroundings . I think It’s oldest temple . Architecture resembles that . U have to visit atleast once in your life . The jagajjanani ideal looks so powerful & unknown devotional feel . Temple looks simple but it’s has more rules. Like there is no entry for below 15 years girls , Every women should wear saree or salwar dress, you have to put only kunkuma bottu, You have to plot your hair without leaving it down and you have to wear Bangles . Rules are same for ordinary people to celebrity people . Every one has leave their slippers in one place only . The roads are too narrow and there is less place for parking.

Temple and Amma is good. But we had very bitter experience today. Am not sure why they are keeping many irrelevent rules and that is also only for girls and ladies. Most of the painful moment is people who are staying there just ruling, commanding and too harsh with devotees. I had worst experience really painful moment. All of them who are working there attacked on us infront of the temple like we did some crime. They are insulting the devotees. I agree we should follow few rules when we visit the temple. But I feel this is toooo much. My kid is just 10 years old she is wearing frock and legging they didnt allowed her and saying that let her stand outside we wont allow her inside the temple. When we ask she is just 10yrs old why you guys are doing like this. They are saying we will give you cloths which are donated. How can we wear a dress which is wore bý others and which is in very bad shape . The clothes which they are providing are wet with bad odour. When we refuse to wear they are fighting with us and shouting on us. They are saying its a shakthi temple we wont allow. But what is the link between legging and shakti. She is not even wearing jeans T-shirt. Even I follow certain rules when we visit the temple. I felt like why we came here. We travelled from bangalore only to visit this temple. My humble request some one should take action on this. EDUCATE OUR CULTURE OR ATLEAST FOLLOW SOME SYSTEMS. PLEASE DONT INSULT DEVOTEES WHO CAME TO VISIT THE TEMPLE. I felt like after reading many reviews many like me, I felt bad.

Looking good to see. One of the most peaceful places I have ever seen. This temple is the second top temple in the world where jagat janani ammavaru is located. Ladies have some restrictions to enter the temple. Mobile phone bags are not allowed. Crowds are normal on normal days. Full of crowds at the time of festivals. Located beside atmakur bus stand, nandyal. Management is good. The parking place is not good.

Staff behavior is very worst , instead of explaining the rules n regulations ordering n commanding in temple premises is very bad. It made me turn back without worshiping Amma. I find the staff it self not following rules. Very poor experience. Unfortunately I missed Amma's blessing. I request Concern people look into this educate the staff how to behave with pilgrims.

Newly constructed temple with no clear directions nor staff response. Very sad to see a temple diety which is been made ignorant by temple staff.

People believe Amma is powerful and blesses the devotees. They maintain few rules for the devotees like, married women need to wear saree(seems optional), should not wear stickers on face(Only kumkum should have), not loose hair, no jeans, etc.. Seems there is not much rules for men. We need to deposit our phones while entering into the temple at 1st floor, it's free. Seems all the devotees should do the kumkuma Pooja, also need to visit gopuram at 2nd floor. Then they will tell the history of the temple. Pooja and some programs are free of cost. Seems they provide free accommodation also. The way is very narrow, bit difficult for cars.

Temple timings are from 6am to 9pm. They didn't allow me to visit the temple due to the reason that I wore a chudidar. They have strict rules of wearing saree above 18 yrs girls and few more as i posted in pic. They will provide saree for wearing to visit the powerful goddess jagajjanani. This is the most famous temple in nandyala and 2nd temple all over India. 1st temple is located in the Himalayas. Must visit the temple.

Amma is very nice, but the staff is very rude and disrespectful to piligrims. Because of the staffs behaviour the whole temple’s ambience gets spoiled. They are very commercial as well

It is mandatory to wear a traditional dress., otherwise the staff of the temple will not allow into the temple. For Girls or Women: Wearing bangles is a must. Avoid jeans, leggings and skin tights. For Boys or Gents: Avoid shorts and fashionable jeans.

Sri Jagajjanani Temple is 2nd temple of its kind dedicated to the Mother of the world including all Gods and Goddesses. The first temple dedicated to Sri Jagajjanani is situated in Himalayas near Lake ManasaSarovaram. The gopuram of this temple consist of all the forms of Gods and Goddesses and thus making it rare and sacred in itself. Legend associated with the temple states that, when Sri Jagajjanani Matha decided to start the life on earth, she came to earth and incarnated herself in Himalyas near ManasaSarovaram in Himalayas above 19,500 ft from the sea level. Every day all Gods and Goddesses came here and make bath in ManasaSarovaram and pray to Sri Jagajjanani which she resides near to the lake. This was briefly described in our Vedas, Old Manuscripts like “Kapalika Vidhi”, “Vamakeswara Tantram”, “Koula Achara Tantram”.

Strict entry into the temple No cell Phones allowed and counter for cell phone keeping is there at free of cost. Less parking space Congested roads for plying of cars and other big vehicles Premises are clean Kunkuma Archanaas are performed for every one at free of cost. It's the 2nd Jagajjanani temple in the world. Most peaceful temple at normal times. Believing the godess makes our wishes true is the only word to say about temple.

Worst rules for entry they have. Absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary specifications - beyond the minimum requirement of bathing and clean dress. We went up to the entrance, and were driven away.

Sri Jagajjanani Temple Importance of this temple can be understood from the fact that this is the only second temple of its kind in the world. 1st one in Himalayas near Lake ManasaSarovaram, which is already collapsed and that’s why this is the only temple which is consisting of Sri Jagajjanani Idol in entire world. However, they have formulated some strict rules to enter the premises of the temple for ladies/ women (which is weird) No modern dress No leggings Must wear bindhi Must wear saree/top with dupatta Must tie hair properly Etcetra.....

  • 5/5 Reshmi N. 1 year ago on Google
For Ladies only traditional dress like saree and punjabi with chunni is allowed. Leggings is not allowed. Palazzo is allowed. Must and shouldly glass bangles, hair should be tied with braids. I personally visited the temple... As usual temple staff are always rude... No proper maintenance and no proper administration.. And regarding the rules.. they set rules as per their own views which are not even appropriate and without proper prior information .... Worshipping the godess but they don't show proper respect to women....

  • 5/5 Khadar E. 1 year ago on Google
Completely traditional. No entry fee for darshana. All the people will be treated the same. Pujari asked us to do Pooja to the goddess. There are rules that we need to follow if we want to visit the temple. No one ask money for any kind of Pooja.

Worst behavior of staff working here, In Hindu temple Muslims are working for seva and they are not allowing us for Darshan, many irrelevant rules they are keeping, coming from far away place it is very painful without Darshan we are stepping back. I have visited many temples in India but not seen such rules. In pictures they have given Punjabi dress with dupatta is allowed but they are not allowing, they themselves maintaining very irrelevant rules, I felt very bad Muslims who are working here are not allowing us to visit our temple. I don't know how worst the temple management is allowing Muslims for doing seva here. She is the Muslim girl without bindi and proper dress doing seva here are not allowing hindus for Darshan.
