Lovely resort for a day out. Beautiful beach (the cleanest I've seen in Tanzania), a decent pool and nice food. No water slides but nice place to spend a few hours.

Good hotel, but it shows the detrimental effects of covid. On weekdays there are few people in the hotel. There is a lot of algae on the beach, which brings waves. The water in the ocean is clear, but there is a lot of plastic garbage in it.

A good place for swimming, chilling water depth isn't too deep and can be considered safe had warm water so you can swim until night. The roads are a bit bad and is kinda far from main road

DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP AT ANY STAGE DURING YOUR HOLIDAY. LOUD BLARING MUSIC ALL DAY AND NIGHT WITHOUT A CARE FOR ANYONE TRYING TO SLEEP IN THIS RESORT OR ANY OTHER ALONG THE BEACH. SHOCKING. AVOID.

Relaxing place near Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Wonderfull beach ⛱️ experience. Good food can take a day or stay with family and friends.

i kept 4 star because there is always room for improvement. I have nothing but good things to say about South Beach. Great Place with amazing staff and delicious food. Thank you South Beach for the great experience. Me and my family really enjoyed ourselves.

Didn't stay in the rooms. Just went for lunch and to sit by the beach. During the week they charge you 5k tsh for entry and the weekend 10k tsh. Which I think shows a level of greed on the owners part because there are way more people on the weekend and they have decent business during the week. But also the entry fee doesn't give you access to the pool or anything really. To get in the pool you have to pay another 5k. Greedy. Then if you sit and order food it takes so bloody long to receive it. Even if the place is dead or packed, it's the same length of time to get food. The road leading to the resort is badly lit so thieves hide on the road to steal from you and the resort does nothing about it. Like adding more security to walk that road at night or a security company to drive along the road making sure no one is lurking. Terrible place that could be so much better with a but more effort and appreciation for customers on the owners part.

Absolutely bad experience. Such a bad food i never had in my life . Ordered pizza (stuffed chopped onion ) , burger seems put mustard oil. Upon asking bill i was told meachine not working. Useless place such a waste of time and money.

Rooms are clean and tidy, toilets are a bit small, overall customer service is excellent, the place needs some minor improvements. Price for rooms is a bit higher compared to other places.

This place is amazing except the last time I visited they had problem with heating water in the shower TWICE AND PURPOSELY . Nevertheless, the food, sunrise and sunset views are the best. Located at the Beach with a swimming pool. It hosts several people and events especially during the weekends. It’s a very lively place with great views and nice locations for photoshoots. The beach is quite clean and there usually a lot of people swimming 🏊‍♀️ every time. It’s mostly quite in the morning till around 11am then it starts to get more lively. I recommend this place for a weekend getaway or if you are just looking for a place to hangout with your friends or by yourself.

It is around 45min from airport. So it was great localised for as as we could take some rest for busy town just few days back home. You have access to swimming pool and beautiful beach. Could be more clean and renovated. Good standard of room, staff very friendly!

Very cool place for you and your family to enjoy ater a long week, very good customer service and the food is very nice. The beach is nice and clean just for you to enjoy. Also they have a nice swimming pool though its a bit old and need some renovations. All in all its a very nice place. Rate it 4/5. I enjoyed my stay there.

“Very poor service and huge price. ” The resort may look stunning in the picture, but it's actually in very poor condition. Will not recommend this to anyone. The size of the swimming pool is not very large

Good for dayout, cheap option with nice swimming pool, beach access with plenty shades and seatings, only facility feels old due to not up to the mark maintenance, but overall a great place to hangout

The place is beautiful, right on the beach but be careful cause it is very far from the City ( we used taxi, ferry and another taxi to get there). The food is delicious but the rooms are not very clean. If you have a problem with geckos and insects beware cause it is full of them. Don't forget mosquito spray cause there are lots of them too.

To be honest, I didn't not stay at this hotel. But did see some rooms. Decent 3 star style. Small rooms. Higher floors are sea view. Weekends they swimming pool is very busy with locals from DAR enjoying pool party and rain dance. Also loud music on weekends can be too much for the resident guests. Located about 7 to 8 kilometers from the Kigamboni ferry terminal. Last patch of road is very rough and dusty.

Me and my friend decided to spent one Sunday at this place. Just a day visit. Entry charge was 10000 TSH, in which you can enjoy pool, resort and the beach. We both had an awesome time here. Clean pool, not very large one, but bug enough. This place has a seating capacity for almost 500 people. You can sit beside their pool, in the huts or near the beach. Beach was also clean and we enjoyed taking bath in the ocean. We had some food here. Taste and portion wise, those were nice. Service was also good. Thanks to Abdul. We will certainly visit this place soon. Just one note- It's better to bring your own vehicle.

If you want to use it as a beach club for one day the entrance fee it 10.000 per person. There are no sun beds close to the beach only chairs and tables. We wanted to have a sun bed so we needed to carry it ourself to the beach. We ordered drinks, they took forever. We even had to ask for them again. There is a lot of staff around but they all are just sitting there and do not work. There were two people talking in front of the toilet but the toilet was not clean and there was no toilet paper. The beach is nice tough and there is a big pool.

Overall it is a very good experience. There are many things like a big pool and a small pool ( for small children ), a playground and a restaurant which has both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The rooms are also very cozy and comfortable. The rooms have balcony with chairs and table.
