We asked the waitress for guidance on what to select from the curries in addition to choosing vegetable biryani, paratha and garlic nan. Food had good flavour although was a little too salty, but very filling.

Excellent vegetarian Indian food. The prices are excellent value, especially for the daily thali specials. Both are excellent (South Indian Thali and Chowpatty Thailand) and offer varied dishes, excellent chapati, yogurt, and a sweet. Their dahi puri is also delicious!

Staffs are very cooperative apart from purely vegetarian food they also help to provide fasting food without salt like Sabudana Vada without Salt, French Fries without Salt, Dahi, Coconut Chutney without Salt, etc. They also provide Eggless Cake order for Birthdays and other events. The most popular item is the Chowaptty Thali, which consists of rice, some rotis, 2 vegetable curries, lentil, pickel, papad, sweet (sewai most of the time) and chas. This meal is a good value for money and the portion is enough to make you full. Apart from the Thali I usually order the following dishes: Masala Dosa: The dosa is crisp and buttery, ask your masala separate if you want the dosa to stay crisp. Sambar and chutneys are really good.

The normal dishes are a bit more expensive than elsewhere (like palak paneer etc for 21,000 and rice costs extra i think) BUT their Thali at 12,500 is heavenly!! Spices just perfect, and each dish tastes different. Friendly waitress. Will return!

Chowpatty's always been my bakery go-to, and their pizzas and pastries are killer. Finally tried their Punjabi thali delivery, and wow, it's seriously good! Easy online order, quick delivery, and everything arrived fresh and packed super well. The food itself? Amazing! Each dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Even the extras like chaas and achaar were spot-on. Never had Punjabi before, but this thali made me a fan! Definitely checking out more of their menu next time.

The Manager is absolutely rude, We went there for some few cocktails in the afternoon it was very hot during the day. The waitress was very kind and moved the fan towards our direction, shockingly the manager came and told us that the fan was reserved for some other guests and any time the fan will be taken. How do u reserve a fan at a restaurant? Tena kuna fan moja tu!!!! Absolutely absurd! He even went ahead and said that most of their customers who go to rhapsody are aware of the weather during the day so they ask to reserve the fan. What about other customers who have never been to rhapsody hw do they knw they have to reserve a fan!?? Why would anyone want to go a place tht demands you to reserve a fan before!? Worse enough the manager was just explaining as if it was somethng normal and he did not even notice that the way he was speaking to the customers was not right. We will not be going back to rhapsody again!! I think the management should check on the fan issue or else they will loose alot of customers.

Stayed less than 24h in Dar and came to eat here twice - for lunch and dinner. As a European I may not be the best judge on the quality of food but it was very good for my taste, large portions, no belly issues after. As the name speaks for itself - only vegetarian, but you will certainly not miss the meat. Polite owners, enquired if everything was all right with my meal.

I love the street this restaurant is located on, it's very charming and quaint. This was my first time eating Indian food and my expectations were high. The food was delicious, fresh and flavorful. It has taken me a long time to try Indian food because I don't like hot spicy food. I've always heard people say it was spicy. I was grateful that Chowpatty had a less spicy option of their dishes for me to try. I loved the food but the service was a bit underwhelming. I came in with a party of 3 people, including myself. Upon entering 2 of us sat down and one walked away to the washroom. However, the waitress only brought 1 menu and placed it in front of the person who was not sitting there. Service wise that doesn't make sense. Instead, the waitress should have placed in front of the people who are waiting. I've over 20 years customer service experience and worked with JD Powers and Associates award winning companies. My standards of service are high. Please consider some training.

I ordered a few dishes for delivery via PIKI. I am so impressed with the food quality, the taste and the reasonable pricing! My family and I ate like royalty tonight and we couldn’t have been happier. We ordered Paneer Makhanwala, extra naans, thali and other stuff. This place was average to be honest. Didn’t find the food ‘out of this world’. Firstly, all our food came cold to the table and I sent back the sambar three times to get it heated. The samosa also didn’t come with the thali, as written on the menu, and we had to ask twice for that. All curries were cold in the thali as well. The salted lassi was completely bland. They need to add jeera and mint. The only thing that tasted good was the watermelon juice. Ambience is also not the best and the bathrooms can really use a renovation. It was super hot inside as well- the ACs were on but the door was always open. My experience was alright- I wouldn’t eat here again mainly because of the cold and average tasting food. However, the waitress was really nice and apologetic, so I gave an extra star for that.

I had my late lunch at 3pm but the restaurant was still busy. The leftover in photo was what I did not really enjoy its tastes. I finished the rice and 2 chapati (Indian flat rounded-bread)with delicious beans-mixture/sauce/paste. The white one is yogurt and on its left was hot chili sauce (can compare with Thai's spicy).
