This is a must try place in Dar! Everything is excellent; the ambiance, food, service and prices. We enjoyed being by the sea while having seafood. There was also live music which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had drinks which tasted delicious. The fish tacos had a unique taste, definitely worth it. We also got red snapper and surf and turf. The steak was a little chewy but the seafood was great! Will come back when in town. There is also adequate seating for big and small groups!

Foreign tourists come here and enjoy a lot. There is no mess of local public here. Many types of alcohol are available here you can choose according to your choice. There is a very good arrangement of outside seating and parking. If someone comes here once, he will want to come again and again.

As an American, I was really disappointed to only hear American music on each of my four visits. It's a lost opportunity to connect with tourists who value greater authenticity from travel.

First time trying CTFM. Chill live music all night. Great tastning food. The fish was not over cooked, the ribs were tender, the savory rice was AMAZING. The apple pie was very sweet. Our waiter was very kind and even though busy with many tables he continuously made sure we were all right (even though we had the table for four hours). Def coming back!

Lobster thermidor was excellent, shrimp popcorn was excellent, sushi was very good. Must try the Mango octopus salad, it’s incredible. The baked mussels were not bad.

For me, dare I say it the best Sea food and sushi restaurant in Dar Es Salaam. Its well made, and the service is amazing, they try to accommodate as much as you want and go beyond your expectations. Always enjoy coming, and I almost always get the same thing because of how good it is. We also had the signature sushi as appetizers. Couldn’t wait for a nice photo 😅

Addicted to salmon sashimi, this spot was mine for a couple years in Dar es Salaam before moving to the island and found the same quality product with a different (event better view!). Food is fresh and tasty and staff well trained, I hihly recommend both adresses in Stown Town as In Dar es Salaam! (The plus is that you can have good wifi, working on your stuffs without no one bothering you!) PS: Cockails are great! :)

Cape Town Fish Market is an ideally located popular place for a decent dinner at the terrace or a byte at the bar. the menu is surprisingly at an international very good level combining various tastes and provencies. life music at weekends is another plus that makes this place memorable.

Honestly it was really overrated and overpriced. Vibe & service was good. We went to the one @ Dar es Salaam as we ordered oysters as starter, then seafood palette as well as the steak as shown from the picture. Oysters were so small (from South Africa 🇿🇦) - overpriced Seafood palette were just some small prawns 🍤 a few very cream mussels & calamari. Fries were soggy so NOOOOO- overpriced! But the worst part was the freakin streak. They put bbq sauce on it & was chewy af (medium rare ?!?!) tho it was big but just an illusion. Guys, don’t fall for it!!! Good luck 🤞🏻

I am planning to Make a little surprise for my boyfriend birthday by just letting them sing and serve the cake .so prior to that , I send the cake too early so my boyfriend won’t noticed it at all. But when the time that I ask them to serve the cake . One of there waiter whispered to me . Saying “ Hey we couldn’t find your cake , we don’t know where is it ? Like seriously ? Really ?? . So when I freak out they started looking the care everywhere . so luckily they found it. And they serve it with us and the waiters started singing .. but the worst thing is they couldn’t even put one candle on the cake . At least the celebrant had something to blow. how come one of the very expensive restaurant in town , couldn’t even give us one candle . I don’t really recommend this restaurant if you guys want to pull off surprises. They couldn’t even handle a very small one .

The place had an awsome view of the sea with fresh breeze. Food: cheddar melt chicken was very delicious, compliments to the chef. Grilled red snapper however wasn't up to our expectations. Fish wasn't fresh and soft as I expected. It was bit bland. Tip: salt and pepper would make it more tastier. I would like to appreciate Mr John for his hospitality and taking the review of food positively. I am sure our next visit to this place shall be much more better

If you plan to go for the view, I recommend it 100 percent. Anything else, you are taking a risk. People go here because they don’t have much of an option. The food is terrible at best and the service is subpar. Please, do not order the Sushi or anything raw unless you have lived in Dar for a while and your stomach is prepared for it. They don’t know how to handle raw fish in such a humid environment. You will be sick. We ended up leaving everything on the table as it was cold and inedible.

Cape Town Fish Market provide the aesthetics with a great view of Msasani Bay. Very tourist spot with many seafood and other food selections. The food and drink were OK to me. I ordered a paella which was served in a small sauce pan and tasted more like a risotto (mushy) without the signature paella crust- but it's not Spain so... Despite the mediocre food, the service was attentive and food came out fast. It also appeared that a band was going to play later that evening.

Had a superb experience at Cape town fish market for my sister's birthday. I especially loved how the band made everyone celebrating their birthday feel special by giving them their attention for a few. It didn't Matter how many times they did it throughout the night. Every cake cutting ceremony had a ceremonious attention. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Definitely a restaurant with good quality food and above par from most restaurants I've been too. It beats the Waterfront on Slipway by a long shot and I would even say Kambezi Cafe at Seacliff. Taste and texture of our food was good and the view was beautiful overlooking the bay.

This was my second evening for dinner. I was here 2 days earlier on 23dec23’ for dinner. Reason I came again tonight on Christmas was because a bunch of my friends wanted to come despite me telling them the restaurant was overrated. Definitely don’t bother with the seafood if you have to visit. The beef ribs was good. So was the paella and oysters. “Giant” prawns was small and dry. Staff are nice and friendly. Band was good 2 nights ago. They seemed tired tonight.
