Truly amazing vegan food (with a separate meat menu as well.) The portions are huge. The quality of the produce and dishes is the best I’ve had in all of Tanzania. Everything is fresh, well-cleaned and well-prepared. The vegetable balls were my favorite, as were te vegan crab cakes. But I was happy that big side salads were served free of charge with everything

Quite versatile, with lots of tasty vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc options. We had a delicious non-dairy desert too! There is another menu if you prefer meat, so it's a great place to go with friends with different dietary needs. Very relaxing environment, we were serenaded by a young man with an acoustic guitar. Service is also brilliant, wait staff were helpful and knowledgeable of menu items. Strongly recommended.

Lots of vegan options. Nice Place. Cheerful and calm atmosphere. The Mock Steak(home-made seitan) with broccoli is very good. Also the juice and Passion cheeze cake is very good.

One of the BEST restaurants in Dar! Great wine selection, happy hours, and options options and more options for vegan and non vegan Jamaican dishes. Expectations exceeded both in taste and service.

Kind Earth Eatery is a singular culinary pleasure for vegans. Dishes are inventive, artfully presented, sumptuous, and delicious. Everything on their menu is good. A wonderful experience for vegan foodies.

This was one of the first restaurants we found & fell in love with upon arriving to Dar! The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff is attentive & friendly, and the food is delicious! We’ve eaten off both their vegan and traditional menu and have always left beyond satisfied. Highly recommend this place for people who are plant based and those who enjoy fresh seafood and Jamaican inspired dishes!

Such a lovely restaurant! Staff were great, and so was the vegan food. Lots of effort and thought had gone into the dishes, we were really impressed. Unfortunately my dad left the rest of my meal on the roof of the taxi when we drove off which I am still getting over 😫

Had lunch at "Tossed"- the lunch salad restaurant within Kind Earth today, and it was delicious! Definitely the best salad I've had in Dar. Lunchtime is hot, so not possible to eat in their pretty garden, but my friend and I were happy in the smaller inside area.

Wow! What an amazing discovery! I wish I found this place earlier. It has the best vegan menu I’ve seen in Tanzania so far. A great selection of wines too. Please try the veggie balls, they are delicious! The place itself is beautiful too, so classy. Very worth the price! The portions are huge and the staff is the kindest. Great service. I was so happy to see they use metal straws!

A fantastic new dinning experience for Dar es Salaam. A great menu range especially for vegetarian and gluten free dinners. Carivores are well catered for by the authentic Jamaican menu. We enjoyed delicious fusion vegetarian dishes which I have never come across before, accompanied by a mean mojito. We are in a garden under a new Moon while a gentle tropical breeze rustled palm fronds of a coconut tree, a local guitarist played Swahili songs in the background. Will return.

This was my first visit to Monsoon in 13 years, and was I as impressed and hugely satisfied as I was all those years before! Stepping in to this beautiful venue, one is lulled back into what could be described as "the heart and essence of Zanzibar and its People". The live music was just perfect! Service is excellent! The menu offered a great selection of items, catering for all preferences. Our selection of mains, a variety of sea foods, was perfectly prepared and I am at a loss of words to describe just how intensely delicious and fresh the meals were! Thank you for creating a perfect memory of an evening well spent! We have already recommended Monsoon to many!

He is Muslim and that's why they have a tea room inside for meals where you have to take off your shoes. Prices quite expensive for the quality of the food. It is not a wonder considering what is around. (Original) Terraza grande y florida. Camareros algo vagos y un interior raro. I'm not sure what's happening. 🤔 Not as consistent in quality/customer service. I never really know what to expect with each visit. Perhaps, you can train staff on better practices during peak hours. Otherwise, it's usually a lovely vegan spot to enjoy when in the area! All the best to you , moving forward.

The food was okey nothing creatively special. The inside dining area is too small and when you have uncivilized loud people it can be hard to hear each other even if you sitting at nose distance. The juices are okey but if you want to drink wine I strongly suggest not to. It is terrible.

This is by far the best food I’ve eaten in Dar, which is saying a lot because I eat out a lot and I like to try new places often. Quality and taste of the food was delicious and perfect. The setting was beautiful. The servers were so professional and kind. This was definitely the best food I’ve tried in Dar but it was also hands down the most expensive menu I’ve seen too (average of 30,000tsh per main course) but you definitely get what you pay for, it was worth every shilling! Highly recommend.

I walked in for my first meal in Zanzibar, following a recommendation from a friend. I did not get to experience taraab music because I came too early but the food was very entertaining, offering a great variety of flavours on one plate. It was, however, pricier and did not provide a wow factor as in other locations.

‘Organic produce from the sweet soils of Tanzania’ couldn't be more fitting for this Masaki gem. Kind Earth offers an array of thoughtful, well-presented dishes and is located on the same grounds as Kingston 8, offering Jamaican-inspired cuisine along with non-veggie options. They share an inviting outdoor seating area as well as offer an indoor dining experience. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner of Kind Earth, Velisa, who’s vision and culinary creations were impressive. Next stop on our list is their sister restaurant, Velisa’s, located near Kawe Beach!

👍 It’s a nice Pub within Mbezi Beach area. I went here for a night out and really enjoyed the vibe and the music. The prices were also not bad. Cool place.
