Holy place, it carries long history of the Tanzanian Catholics, core of the churches. Beautiful Architecture, simply historic. Orders of mass are well organized with a variety of languages to meet demands. Welcoming place to pray.

It was a fabulous experience to visit this church that is so soothing and serene. Especially compared to the chaos of the Ferry terminal area just outside. The church is beautiful both artistically and in its positive energy. The nuns who were constantly cleaning the place, were so helpful, kind and welcoming. Such a difference from the superciliously rude lady at the Lutheran church who shouted me out of the church. I was able to visit in silence, pray in peace inside the church and the 2 open air chapels outside too (Blessed Eucharist & St Joseph).

St. Joseph cathedral located in Poster street Daresalaam, and it's the Headquarters of The arcdiocese of Daresalaam.... It's a nice place to visit , especially for Spiritual needs like Personal prayers and Meditation, as well as reconciliation

St. Joseph cathedral church in Dar Es Salaam. In your busy schedule you can pray at any time. There is sufficient place to park the vehicle. Beside the church, there is a grotto dedicated to Mother Mary.

I did not do much here, I was taking a stroll and saw the church building and was captivated by how old and yet solid it still looks. I love the architectural designs too and how kempt it is. I enter to buy some souvenirs and decided to take shots 😁

It’s a quiet place. I love how calm it is when you go in. It’s situated in the city centre in such a way that most visitors are people who work around the city.

An excellent cathedral where God is worshiped in spirit and in truth. Here there are masses in Swahili and in English Sundays and during the day.
