Loved Sea Cliff. Perfectly located right by the sea so the views are unmatched. The staff were really good and friendly, made me feel well taken care of. Even made a plan to change my room upon request as I wanted one with an ocean view. Rooms are comfy and clean. Fact that they have 2 restaurants was a big plus as you have options. Will definitely be back

Certainly more of a water based property over the Hyatt or Serena good property, if a little dated. Has a popular Indian restaurant with good views. More of a vacation then business site but good location πŸ‘Œ

The rooms are very spacious but I feel like it is in need of a renovate to give it that wow factor. The hotel is situated close to the ocean and some rooms even offer that amazing sea views. The food is good especially desserts. However the one thing that makes the stay really special is the friendly staff that is just so amazing, and friendly. Asante Sana

One of the best hotels in Dar es Salaam. Excellent service from rooms to food. Friendly staff who will do anything to keep you happy. We were a large group, but they managed us quite well. Plus Sea Cliff Hotel has a private helipad. How cool!

Good atmosphere and great meals. $$$ though if you're in for a session or on a budget so be aware. Great of an afternoon to chill after a day of seeing the sites around around Dar with ocean views and a coil breeze.

Has a beautiful view of the sea, and nice outdoor setup, the food was good too, the washrooms also. But if you're not an animal lover they did have a cat or two there!

My stay at the Sea Cliff was exceptional, in the quality of the accommodations, the food and, most important, the excellent service. I arrived late on my first night and while they couldn't accommodate a room upgrade based on my I Prefer status for the first night, they did honour that for the next five nights with an exceptional room with a beautiful view. I also received a welcome gift, and much of this was thanks to Nana, the Guest Relations Manager, who did an exceptional job making sure my stay was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and provided multiple selections with a beautiful view. Service was always spot on with additional requests always being honoured. I had three dinners and a lunch at the hotel, and they were all delicious with fresh seafood cooked to perfection. Transport to and from the airport was efficient, safe and comfortable. As this was a business trip all the working essential were there with consistent and fast WiFi and a comfortable desk. All in all this was a great stay and is deserving of recognition.

The best part of the hotel is the Karambezi restaurant. You enjoy your meal in the comfort of a live band and at the same time watching the ocean tides.

Nice hotel with smart foyeur and spacious rooms with lovely views of the pool and sea beyond. Bedding was silky smooth and comfortable and pillows were good. Wifi was decent for phones but inconsistent for streaming and Zoom meetings. Mini bars were well stocked with alcohol and treats. Gym is well stocked, well maintained and uncrowded. From the hotel, taxis are cheapest in the city and readily available. Friendly staf and great restaurant downstairs with sizeable delicious oriental dishes. Surrounding area safe for early morning running and walking late into the night.

Sea Cliff's Excellent Service. Ismail Malik Pretend you visited Sea Cliff hotel this Thursday. You had amazing experience there. The staff was super cool. You also enjoyed the Indian cuisine at The Alcove restaurant. Now write a good review about Sea Cliff I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sea Cliff hotel and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the ocean and well-maintained grounds. My room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of my visit was dining at The Alcove restaurant. The Indian cuisine was truly exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from and each one bursting with flavor. The restaurant staff were attentive and helpful, making sure my dining experience was top-notch. Overall, I cannot recommend Sea Cliff hotel enough. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable and comfortable, and the food at The Alcove was some of the best I've had. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the area.

Moved in at 5 am. They charged me whole night instead of early check in. When I came to breakfast - hurried up me it's closing in 5 minutes. Half of power sockets are not working. Maybe ok facilities, but this service kills all the vibe.

It’s five star for the area. The property is beautiful and the shops are great. The rooms are very dated for the rates. The food and service is amazing

Rooms are ok, had some mold in bathroom, but was fine for business trip. Great property with nice food and reasonable prices. Only thing was the staff lost my laundry, and was later found, but that was stressful. Will be back. Also the staff are nice.

I went here for a board meeting. We hardly had to call the staff for our small conference room as everything was set up well and snacks were delivered on time. The place is spotless and the view at the lunch buffet area was exquisite!

Good place to visit & dine in. The view was awesome, but we were not allowed to visit the lawn in front of the restaurant though there was no one.

I forgot a new bottle of perfume of coco Chanel. Didn’t have any checked-in luggage, just my backpack and carry-on. Packed and unpacked my bags by myself. Called and emailed the hotel only to be told that the staff who cleaned the room didn’t report it neither did this person see the perfume. I let it go because the hotel insisted that they have CCTV and the staff is loyal.I wonder if CCTV will show the person leaving the room with a 100 ML bottle. How can a bottle of perfume disappear in thin air? Be careful not to leave anything behind, you will not get it.

Poor Seacliff - Loud events hold hotel guests hostage! Music wherever one turns. The once oasis of peace and quiet has become a hot-spot for loud music and even blasting right center of the lovely garden. If you plan a relaxing stay - look further. The room and hotel remain top notch - but at what price. Sad we loved the hotel, it's lovely staff.

I was there for two days. I left my jacket and other items when i checked out from the room. They did not let me know. I need to call them two times to ask about my cards and other items. When I call them over the phone they are not friendly at all. I will not visit this place again... I did not like my experince.

I didn't actually stay here, but I ate at the restaurant (Karambezi Cafe) and it was delicious. On top of that, however, I observed that the hotel seemed quite nice (at least from the lobby and the casino areas). Ask a friend who's been here about the rooms, but definitely eat at the restaurant!

The staff is extremely rude to guests who are not staying in the hotel. I was told to get away from the sea view lawns, as it’s only for in house guests. Felt very insulted in front of my mother and child.
