CBD Hotel, Dar es Salaam is a great place for wining, dining, stay cations, weddings, graduation parties as well as conferences. It is located in an up-market location favouring locals, expatriates and tourists who prefer safe and serene environments. The dishes are finger licking good and evokes great cheer leaving patrons with a nagging urge to return once more. There are other activities apart from the cuisines such as gymnasium facilities, spas, saunas, massage centres et al. Conference rooms are well equipped with the latest amenities which comes in handy for expats, businessmen and other professionals. Recommended go to spot.

Horrible Wifi, mostly Indian cuisine, reception could use some improvement. However Yohanna was an absolute pleasure and the wait staff at the restaurant. They also offer room service and food is tasty.

This hotel is disgusting! I visited 1-24-24 and was suppose to stay until the 1-27-24 but I could not. The towels were so disgusting they were cream, brownish and old. The shower drain did not drain and as we are taking showers the water was at our ankles.. Most of the television channels seemed to be India based as was the one and only restaurant. If you like India based dishes the restaurant is a win. If not you are stuck like we were having to catch a Uber across town. As an American this hotel did not meet my standards and we cancelled the remaining days and booked at the Marriott across town. The neighborhood in which this hotel sits didn’t feel the safest the men were literally undressing me with their eyes as an African American woman I did not fell safe for me or my husband. The upside is the staff is nice!

Great service at this hotel! In particular, the porter, Benson, and his colleague were very very helpful today. They helped me find the train station, and in fact, Benson walked me there as it was difficult to explain the route! Thank you, friend! Also, I had the opportunity to eat and have chai in the lobby restaurant. Yum yum yum! Highly recommended!

Great hotel with the best staff. They were polite, professional, and eager to serve. Wonderful food at breakfast and dinner. The hotel was very clean all over. The only negative was the location because there were not good views and the neighborhood did not look walkable.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Decent location not too far from attractions in Dar es Salaam. The staff was so kind and accommodating especially the door man. Breakfast was delightful and yummy. The rooms were comfortable. Great shower, comfortable beds and great air conditioner as hot as it was outside our room stayed cool. Also enjoyed the pool and pool bar area. Clean and safe hotel. Will recommend for anyone planning a stay in Dar es Salaam.

Lovely stay at the CPD hotel. Easy to find, Clean rooms, great atmosphere. Greater at the door every morning by Yohan, a very funny and friendly gentleman. All staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. The pool was small, and on a Rooftop that overlooks the street, but the bar staff are very attentive and keep your glasses topped up at all times. All in all a great stay!

I stayed here for 2 days and the staff were all nice and accommodating. I liked their food although it is quite spicy to my liking. There's a variety of continental food as well. The receptionist is always available whenever I have questions. Highly recommended for those who'll stay here at Dar Es Salaam as it is also near the Airport. 5 Stars for this Hotel ❤️

It's in a noisy place (one side was road with serious traffic and the other side was a railroad), air-conditioning was working but also very loudly (trembled and rattled). The hotel management was more interested in profit than the well-being of the customer. We booked 2 rooms (2 adults and 3 children) through Agoda, but on the spot it turned out that there were 4 beds for 5 people in the reservation. Since the hotel could not see any other solution, we had to pay extra, so that everyone would have a place to sleep.

Nice Hotel, easily accessible and strategically located within the Central Business District of Dar es Salaam City Metropolitan. They have an Indian restaurant serving a variety of Indian dishes.

Our stay was in early September 2023. We had booked airport transfer through the hotel which was very convenient. The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was excellent! Would definitely recommend this hotel. The best was the wonderful staff, so kind and friendly!

All I can say is that I would stay here again and again because of the staffs who work there are amazing and the restaurant they have is a gem. Everyday I had a dinner at the restaurant and all the food I had was just so nice. The room itself has everything no complaint at all. It’s better than any other 5 star hotels in DAR.

The best stay of my trip to Tanzania. Very friendly staff from the door man (Yohane,always helpfull and friendly) to the security. The hotel it self is very clean and beautiful very inviting. It is an exotic place to be. Aesthetically auspicious. The restaurant is spacious, serene. State of the art bar. The washrooms are exceptional. Super clean, highly hygienic. It i my one stop place for my casual to formal meetings, luncheon, lunch and dinner.

This is surely 5 star. Whoever is rating hotels please give this hotel 5 stars. Super clean staff are so charming, food is fresh and took five minutes to prepare. Try chicken lollipop and chips masala. Swimming pool available in the m floor and wife is super fast.

A beautiful place to relax with the best hospitality. Located at the center of the city. I get the best services everytime I visit the fitness center. The rooms are very classy with all the facilities to fulfil our needs. The food served there is very delicious and also not forgetting to mention about the management, who are very pleasing. As a whole I higly recommend this Hotel.

The rooms were clean, the food was good and the service was absolutely amazing!

We enjoy our stay very much! When we arrived we had to change room because it was too small. We got help right away, the bell boys were so nice and friendly, everytime I saw them i felt welcomed. The rooms where okay for the price, the food was delicious and the waiters were nice. Some of the receptionists were not that friendly, they talked on the phone while assisting you. We asked for toiletpaper and towels. We got the toilet papers the next day and had to ask again for towels the following day before we got them.

From the minute I walked in to check in to me leaving the staff were totally fantastic and the onsite restaurant had a great choice of foods to suit everyone. And I did not have a bad meal the whole time I was in the hotel, some were just a little too spicy for my taste buds though.
