It's located at the best way for a person whois in need for shelter since it's on the closest to the road about 5m from the main road via NIT UNIVERSITY ROAD.the fee for accommodation is about 25$

The staff there are friendly and helpful.The service is good.We were very grateful for them in helping us out . We enjoyed our stay there.

The walls are threadbare thin, on a very busy and noisy road. It's also too far from the airport. Be prepared to spend up to two hours during traffic peak hours. Breakfast is another story for another day. Not a good idea.

Affordable but very poor service

The hotel is located in good area however most facilities particular plumbing, toilets, walls, lack renovations and look old. On the other hand I give it 3 star as rooms are small, no good chairs and table, no television. Manager need to invest on improvement and renovation

My family and I arrived from India on a night time flight and since we were staying for 3 nights we qualified to be picked free by the hotel shuttle and true to their promise they were at the airport in time.Whats more they allowed us express free check in at 5 AM before the official check in time of noon and we were so grateful together with my wife as we had 2 small kids in tow.Mr.Ben the Guest Relations Officer went out of his way to give us discounted City Tour escort services.The evening Terrace bar is lovely as you are able to see ordinary Tanzanian people walk past the hotel entrance as you enjoy your drinks.My wife liked the fact that the rooms are affordable without compromising clean liness or services provided.I definitely recommend Sawe Hotel Dar es salaam as one of the Best Budget hotels in Dar es salaam City Tanzania.

The rooms are well ventilated, with good washrooms. Also the breakfast is delicious.

The rates are very reasonable but that explains why there is not enough parking space, the WiFi is okay and it is near a noisy place.

No electricity So sad

Was not that good as the room Ac were noisy and sometime failed to operate. The TV set was there just physically not working properly as the channels are not seen, the door to the bathroom had no handle, so had a bad night over there and I told the attendant who was so charming but helpless!

Not easy to communicate with most of staff here, bad English. The city isn't clean and not safe The hotel is in the middle of crowded road, too noisy here, they got like 300% over prices for items you buy.
