This place is beautiful, the atmosphere is cosy and authentic with a lot of books and board games. The coffee was really nice, they have every type you would like. The owner was very welcoming and explained a lot about the idea behind Ridge Cafe, with the book exchange and the games. They also have travel guides for anyone wanting to research or plan their further travels with a nice coffee or juice

It's a good place for those looking to spend their time working with some peace and quiet. There is a book shelf, WiFi, board games and card games. The Attendant is very welcoming and there's a variety of coffee and other drinks. Enjoy the Banana cake!

Beautiful little shop with delicious coffee and cakes/breads. Very friendly staff and welcoming to tourists. My only suggestion is adding soft relaxing music in the background. Thank you for your service and i will be returning.

This place is cozy! I spent all day yesterday working from there. The internet is fast plus their coffee and snacks just make everything better. The sandwich and samosa are freshly made when you order them. It is also an amazing place to unwind with a book after a long day. If you are a coffee and book lover, you will enjoy this place. AND everyone there makes you feel at home

I was not only treated by a good cup of the Tanzanian Pea Bery but also an enticing story about the origin of the Pea Bery which is the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Great spot to have a taste of the varieties of Tanzanian Coffee from the prominent producing regions of Northern Zone and Southern Highlands. You can also get Dark and Medium Roasted Coffee Beans from Mbeya and Kilimanjaro packed in 400 grams bags.

A very lovely place, delicious coffee and pastry. The staff is very friendly and kind. There are enough power plugs and it’s a great place to sit with your laptop for working. The wifi is good.

Fastest Internet in town, very reliable so I love that but moreso, this café attracts some of the coolest folks in Dar so I enjoy all the new people I meet here and that's a major reason I keep coming back to this place.

I always aim to try a different beverage every time I visit The Ridge Cafe and I'm never disappointed. The staff is super friendly and helpful in recommending beverages that match my taste (and mood). I tried the Cortado this past weekend and it was absolutely lovely. Strong with just the right amount of sweetness. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a casual coffee spot in the Msasani Peninsula. Oh and if you're feeling a little under the weather, I highly recommend the African Ginger Tea. You'll get at least two servings and feel right as rain :)

I’m coming from Seattle in the USA so I am picky about my coffee. This place did not disappoint, great and smooth coffee. The owner is an awesome guy too.

Locally sourced coffee, nice decor and ambience, The Ridge is what a café should look like. Funny enough I recommend the mango juice :-)

The Ridge Cafe has good coffee, juices and the perfect chicken sandwich. The service is amazing. There are books in the cafe one can read and board games to play as well. It is a homely place to get some work done or relax with a good cup of coffee.

Wow!!! This place was amazing. The atmosphere was very welcoming, they have boardgames for a great day just to spend time with your friends and family. We bought many bags of coffee, as well as the coffee itself was amazing and we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. Also the owner, was the so fantastic and a gentleman who helped explain everything!

The girls(and boys) here are AMAZING! Friendly , FULL OF ENERGY, happy( which are hard to come by in Dar)! They always have a smile on their faces :) PS May I suggest a little more vegetarian options for salads?

A small caffe in Masaki with friendly staff and owner, exceptional services from the matre de caffe and rest of the team. They have one great mango squash 😱 in the entire whole world SCREEMING also there latte is a top notch and atmosphere is chilled and lovely wish they had a background music tho but there 8/10 great one in Dar.

Small coffee shop with excellent espresso and simple but tasty cakes. Air conditioned indoor area with chargers for devices, good wifi, books and board games. Also a patio outside. Staff were lovely. Recommended.

I have visited both the Ridge Cafe in Mbeya as the Ridge Cafe in Dar es Salaam. This coffee place gives of a nice and relaxed vibe. There are a lot of different types of coffee that you can order. On walking distance from Slow Leopard and Slipway hotel. Kind staff.

What a gem, perfect chill out zone with possibly the best tasting coffee in DAR. The samosas are excellent , beef, chicken and vegan options, l bought their fruit salad and it was perfect, mango, pineapple, avocado, banana covered with passion fruit , no waste all my favourite items.

I went there just because the lights were on and I needed a place to work from - there was a power cut - and it was the best surprise. Great atmosphere for working, steady WiFi and many sockets.
