This is one of the most relaxing cafes around here. I like here, so I frequent to this cafe. It is not only good for relaxing use but also doing some work or research such as reading article, research papers. It is easy to concentrate over good coffee. Also I like vegetable fried rice here, so I order it often. To sum-up, what is good about here is, (1) options of healthy foods, (2) tasty coffee, (3) wider space, (4) inside and outside green, (5) open until late, say, 10:00 pm, (6) easy accessibility to power plugs, each individual table has plugs, (7) height of table, chair is good for concentration (8) big family with small kids are welcome. It's a nice place to hang out, it looks like a cozy environment when I arrived, and I was not disappointed. The staffs are attentive and friendly too. I only had coffee, and I was happy; my coffee fix was covered for the day.

Middle of the road diner, service is the best part but the food presentation and quality could be so much better, the toast was just like two day old hard bread, hummu avo toast didnt know what it was, a mixture of mango and avo chunks, l can, after nine months understand why l hadn't been before. Oh and from another in our group it has to have had the worst coffee in two years in DAR, he couldn't get past half a cup.

Portions are weird! The service is mediocre as we did have to wait about 40 minutes for a fruit salad. the ambiance is really amazing and you do get free WiFi but they’re portions are not just small but not consistent. Especially with the prawns. My table ordered the same thing and it was visibly different portion between my plate and my sisters. Food tastes good, just wish they weren’t so stingy.

I’ve been to Bean There a few times now and this place never disappoints. The coffee is also amazing and just as you would want a coffee to taste wether hot or cold and the food tastes amazing. I know the day I visit, I will be leaving feeling very satisfied with my meal. Above all the atmosphere is unmatched for a cafe. I will definitely be going back again and again!

We had cappuccino and late and both drinks were very good. The "eggspect the best" omelet was big and tasty! The steak and eggs (wake up and meat) was delicious! Passion fruit juice was very fresh too. Overall everything was great. Totally recommended.

Great ambience, polite wait staff, clean, reasonably quiet if you'd like to work from the Cafe on a weekday. Food could be said to be average, nothing fancy there. There's no free parking and municipal parking charges apply. There's WiFi but I didn't ask for the password and thus cannot comment on speed etc. It was not too crowded which was a plus. It would be a 5 star rating if the food matched pricing, I felt the food was average for the pricing but if you're not there for food, great cafe to chill. Would definitely be back.

If there's any room for improvement, it would be that the staff (waitresses in particular) can be a bit more friendly. I went with a large group (8 people). The ambience was lovely, I enjoyed the decor and the staff was great. I ordered the Prawn "Thai Me" and found the prawns were rock hard and overcooked, and the food was too salty :(. Hoping for a better experience next time, definitely deserves another shot.
