Like going to McDonald's ordering a basic value meal and having them get your order wrong... except in a way that could negatively effect your mobility for the rest of you life. Definitely reporting them to my insurance. Was only sent here for an MRI. Not only did they only do a pointless x-ray they didn't even let me see it. Look at thier responses to reviews they don't even have any reading comprehension, all the staff seem to hate their jobs. When I entered myself and several other patients with mobility issues were forced to stand in line for check in.

My father previously dislocated his shoulder and we took him here. I called this morning because he dislocated it again and they had no appts but the woman told me we could walk in til 7pm. Arranged the wheelchair transport for my dad and met them there only to be told WE DON’T DO SHOULDERS! Not only did the transport cost my dad money BUT we had it done there before! AND I told the woman on the phone why we were coming before I arranged the transport! YOU KNOW THERE WAS A DOCTOR AT THIS LOCATION WHO COULD’VE PUT MY DADS SHOULDER BACK IN SOCKET! Instead now we’re sitting in the ER he’s in a lot of pain and we’re waiting! I am livid, no one should use this facility because they do not care about people. Zero compassion!

Unfortunately, I came in to Advanced Bone and Joint with terrible shoulder pain following a subluxation or possible dislocation. I have hEDS. I was evaluated and the practitioner advised there was no rotator cuff injury… I followed up with my physical therapist days later who advised the upper portion of my rotator cuff is injured. She performed the Lateral Jobe Test which was not performed at advanced bone and joint. She discovered the injury this way and wants me to get further imaging at my physiatrist’s office. I was in tears after the practitioner left the room due to pain and exasperation. The nurse or EMT who came in to set up my follow up appointment awkwardly avoided eye contact and offered no empathy or concern. I will be cancelling my follow-up appointment and quite frankly I am so upset my previous time was wasted here while I sat in intense pain. Not to mention I had to pay for this experience. Needing a walk-in ortho appointment, I had hoped the reviews online would be wrong.

Very disappointed with this office. The staff is not organized for Dr Meleander or the Doctor is too busy!! I was there last Friday and still don't have the correct meds called into the pharmacy for my pain and inflammation in my shoulder. The girls are short and snotty and try to make me feel that it is supposed to be ok that they can't call the prescription over which was talked about at the doctors office. Apparently they said that the doctor is too busy and they haven't received the note from him to send what prescription. There is a problem either with the Doctor or the staff. If you need something done don't expect it from here in a timely manner, just stay in pain in discomfort.

DON'T EVEN BOTHER! My high school son injured his hand at school during a sports activity. Someone at his school recommended him here for an x-ray. Thee biggest regret ever!! The registration process is way too long. They don't tell no doctors are there, only "doctor assistants" It smells like a huge SCAM just to bill insurance companies. I feel his x-ray results weren't reviewed in it's entirety, reviewed by Abigail J Williams, PA-C. She was very short and indirect with us, wasn't welcoming at all, pretending to know what she was talking about. She literally told us that she didn't see any fractures on the x-ray but said to come back in 3 weeks and a fracture may appear....really?? By that time, his hand would have fully healed, so how is it possible for a fracture to just suddenly appear?? She put a hand brace on my son's hand (he was in lots of pain and swollen) then after she said it would be a fee for the brace. This should've been advised prior to putting the hand brace on. I stated his Dad is responsible for all of his medical expenses (as he is the insurance policy holder) she told him to take it off. I thought that was very rude, unprofessional and indecent to say the least. These ppl are less than smart. They're getting paid big money off scamming patients in need of medical attention. We would've been better off going to the ER. ****NEVER AGAIN***** I called the following day to speak with the office manager Shannon Hayes, of course she screens her calls, so I left a voicemail. My next step is to try to reach the CEO Jim Kidd. My experience was unacceptable.

After taking my eldest to Dr. Lombardo for ingrown toenails he was my top choice when my youngest kept getting them. I took her in Sept 2021, he said hers weren’t ones that needed removal, grabbed a toenail clipper and trimmed her toenail so they would grow in correctly. EIGHTEEN months (03/2023) later I get a $200+ bill. They refuse to work with me on the bill stating that they have no idea what insurance does / doesn’t cover. It’s absolutely crazy to me that it costs $200, guess I should have taken her for a pedicure for $40 since the same service was provided. Through months of emails and following up they never once took any ownership for the MASSIVE billing delay. Wonder what would happen if it took me 18 months to pay? 6/16- Response to owner feedback - Still no acknowledgement of how long billing took. Not surprising. Also, I did ask for help and was told no.

Have used them in the past with great results . However, the past couple of experiences were horrible . Last appt , I was left in a room for 45 minutes with nobody coming in to see me. I finally left . Have not heard from their office . I will not be returning - there are too many other options to be treated in that manner.

On their website it states they see infants with clavicle fractures. However, when I called to make a referral appointment for my 5 day old infant with a displaced clavicle fracture, I was told they wouldn't even see her. The information on part of their site is incorrect and misleading.

Let me be clear. I saw Dr. Meek this morning (8/11/22) in the O'Fallon office. He is amazing. He is kind, caring and an excellent physician. He has been a miracle worker for my back pain. His staff (in the back) are wonderful as well. I appreciate all of their kindness. This review is specific to the young woman working the front desk this morning. It's been a long time since I have encountered someone as blatantly rude as she was. No greeting, no smile and when I tried to say good morning she spoke over me. After she told me I was all checked in (no eye contact at all during my entire encounter with her) I thanked her. She did not acknowledge I'd spoken to her. Again, completely ignored me and so I took a seat. We all have bad days but if that's the case with her today then she should speak to her supervisor and asked to be reassigned for the day. This is the first time I have checked in with her. The other girls are always so pleasant and nice. I debated on whether to write this. I have worked in the medical field for 35+ years. I felt it important enough the office manager know about her behavior. It was unacceptable. We have lots of choices these days when seeking medical care. In the end, it doesn't matter how good the doctor is if you can't get past his front desk staff. She needs to be reminded she is a representative of the Advanced physicians and should behave as such. Again, let me reiterate, this has nothing to do with Dr. Meek, his staff or the care I received. That part of my visit gets 5 stars as always.

It is with great regret that I feel compelled to share my negative experience, which has left me questioning the quality of care and attention provided by your medical practice. First and foremost, I would like to address the significant delay in response time when trying to reach your clinic. After leaving a message with your receptionist, it took an entire day before I received a call back. However, this was only the beginning of my ordeal. When attempting to return the call, I was placed on hold for an astonishing 30 minutes, which is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of respect for patients' time. Feeling frustrated and seeking resolution, I left a voicemail explicitly requesting a callback. To my dismay, it has been an additional day since I left that message, and I have yet to receive any response from your clinic. This level of disregard for an existing patient seeking assistance is disheartening, to say the least. It appears that Advanced Bone & Joint is either overwhelmed with patient volume or has simply neglected the importance of providing adequate customer service to loyal patients like myself. As an existing patient, I expected better treatment and a higher level of responsiveness. Unfortunately, my recent interactions have only solidified my concerns about the lack of care and attention I have received. In light of this disappointing experience, I am left questioning whether I can continue to place my trust in Advanced Bone & Joint for my healthcare needs. It is disheartening to realize that a medical practice, which should prioritize patient care, fails to value and prioritize the needs of its existing patients. I strongly urge your management team to address these glaring customer service shortcomings and take immediate steps to improve the patient experience. Patients rely on your clinic for their health and well-being, and it is essential to honor that trust by providing prompt, respectful, and attentive customer service. I sincerely hope that this feedback serves as a wake-up call for Advanced Bone & Joint to reassess its approach to customer service and take the necessary measures to rectify these issues. I genuinely believe that by addressing these concerns, you can rebuild trust with your existing patients and enhance the overall patient experience at your clinic

Came here this morning as a walk-in for a procedure to treat elbow bursitis. The check-in was simple and easily done through a questionnaire sent to my phone. I expected to have to wait, being a walk-in, but I was called within a few minutes of checking in. Everyone on their staff was very courteous, efficient, and professional. I very much appreciate the quality of care and comfortable environment they provided and I would recommend highly.

I have been a patient of ABJ for several years to relieve my sciatic nerve pain. Dr. Meek is the greatest his procedure has been provided me complete relief of my pain. I realize that the sciatic nerve pain can come and go and when it reoccurs I know that Dr. Meek and the staff at ABJ will take care of me and I'll be once again pain free. The entire staff is excellent and I can't speak anymore highly of them all!

If I could leave a negative 0 review I would. This has been the worst treatment experience of my life. They don't answer their phone, they don't send in script refills, even after the 3rd request, and they shut their phones off 3 hours before they close. This place is purely profit driven, not customer care driven. You are purely seen as a dollar sign and not a human in pain and needing help

Dr.Lombardo is the absolute best! He takes his time, answers all my questions and makes me feel so comfortable. He was the only doctor who was able to get to the bottom of my pain and do everything possible to fix it.

I waited over 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. I was there to get MRI results and the doctor did not show me any images or explain things well.

I've been using Advanced Bone & Joint orthopedic and pain management specialists for decades. The professional and personal care I have received over the years has been outstanding. I would and have recommended them to family and friends.

Wow!! Just wow. I am so unbelievably disappointed with this office. I have been going to advance bone and joint for over 10 years for myself and both of my sons. We have always had a great experience until today. Loyalty is obviously not what this doctors office believes in. I showed up at the office on hwy K. I got there right when they opened to get a walk in appointment. I stood in line for 20 minutes in pain behind a very slow person. When my turn came around I could not believe the woman at the front desk. First she had no idea if they were in network. So I phoned the insurance co. They verified they were in network and said the doctors office should be able to verify this. While on the phone with ins. the receptionist said that I did not have insurance coverage and would have to be private pay. The woman at the ins co. had me put her on speaker. She told receptionist I did have coverage and she could call number on back of card or she would personally send her the verification right then. She refused and said I had to be private pay. I left and called another orthopedic from my car. They took all my info and they had no issues verifying my insurance. Funny that. When I explained what happened at advance bone and joint she told me it clearly shows I have insurance and I have not been the first person with a similar story about advance bone and joint. How unbelievably disappointing I guess they dont care how long you may have been a patient. That means nothing. Sad thing is I have one of the best insurance co out there and they pay well. Guess that doesn't matter either if they get you to private pay.

The first visit went great as in Dr Meek took time with me. However when it was time to get my injections(second visit) Dr Meek did not want to answer any questions before the procedure, told me I was coming up with ideas(although they were questions I had), took them personally as if I was questioning him on how to do his job--said to me 'let me do my job', and looked at me and told me I could leave. The last one being the most appalling & did not provide me any comfort going into a procedure. He could not handle any type of nervousness about the procedure at all and very quickly within seconds grew frustrated at my questions and at me. As a person that struggles with anything medical I felt like I was a complete burden and didn't feel cared for as a person, just a number. Going into the operating room he ignored what I asked and shook his head. After the procedure the doc came to check on me and continued to tell me I was coming up with ideas as I was asking questions for what I could or couldn't do after the procedure. To feel like I couldn't ask questions before and after a procedure was odd and quite frankly unacceptable. However the office staff and nurse staff are amazing. The communication about appointments is top notch.

I had a great experience here! Check in was quick and smooth, then I was called right back for my x-ray. Abby was in shortly thereafter and thoroughly explained everything. I saw some negative reviews, but I have nothing but great things to say about my visit! I would absolutely come back and/or refer friends here!

With the exception of the Wentzville receptionist, this organization is lacking in every area. Their communication and protocols are a disservice to people who are in pain and needing help. I could go on and on about the experience I've had so far, but it would take a while and I don't want to waste my time on this place anymore. I wish I had read previous reviews before I entered their doors. If you want GOOD care and GOOD communication please find another place to go!
