Edit:
The
hotel
refunded
my
full
stay
and
assured
me
they
will
take
the
proper
actions
to
avoid
any
future
guests
having
the
same
experience.
Overall,
there
are
better
options
available
in
the
area
for
the
same
or
cheaper
price
point.
Please
seek
those
out.
I
have
been
trying
to
contact
the
manager,
Malcolm
Riggs,
to
discuss
my
concerns
listed
below
but
he's
a
busy
man
who
doesn't
seem
to
be
available
anytime
I
call
asking
to
speak
with
him
or
respond
to
my
emails.
My
last
attempt
to
call
him,
I
was
hung
up
on
by
the
front
desk
staff.
List
of
concerns
for
all
the
rooms
I
had
rented:
1.
I
was
charged
an
additional
$25
for
each
room
for
my
stay
on
July
20th
without
any
notification.
I
now
understand
it
was
a
security
deposit
charge
that
should
be
refunded
3-4
days,
however
I
should
have
been
notified
of
the
charge
at
check-in.
2.
I
should
have
also
been
notified
at
the
time
of
check-in
that
the
property
was
under
construction,
and
there
would
be
disruptive
noises
starting
early
in
the
morning.
Instead,
my
concerns
the
next
day
were
dismissed
by
staff
and
was
told
that
the
construction
on
the
3rd
floor
shouldn't
affect
us
on
the
2nd
floor.
While
also
being
told
there
was
work
going
on
in
room
248
(right
between
rooms
246
and
250).
3.
Room
226:
Smelled
of
old
socks
in
the
room,
the
shower
was
dirty,
and
the
iron
barely
worked.
4.
Room
246:
Smelled
of
old
socks
in
the
room,
the
AC
unit
didn’t
work,
the
shower
did
not
drain,
the
iron
did
not
work,
and
there
were
construction
noises
and
loud
singing.
5.
Room
250:
Smelled
of
old
socks
in
the
room,
the
iron
did
not
work,
there
were
construction
noises
from
the
3rd
floor
and
the
connecting
room
along
with
someone
trying
to
open
the
connecting
door
to
room
248,
and
housekeeping
tried
to
come
in
at
8:30am.
6.
Room
252:
Smelled
of
old
fish
in
the
room
(especially
when
the
AC
turned
on),
there
was
what
looked
like
peanut
butter
and
fried
rice
on
the
wall
and
door,
the
toilet
didn’t
flush
properly,
there
were
construction
noises,
and
housekeeping
came
into
our
room
without
consent
while
we
were
sleeping.
7.
The
overall
smell
in
the
rooms
and
hallway
triggered
many
of
our
allergies.
8.
There
was
garbage
piling
up
by
the
ice
making
machine.
I
had
to
request
“Do
Not
Disturb”
signs
for
our
doors
since
they
did
not
come
with
the
room.
We
were
moved
from
room
252
to
226,
however
the
front
desk
was
unable
to
move
us
from
rooms
246
and
250
when
requested.
I
usually
have
pleasant
experiences
staying
at
La
Quinta
and
read
wonderful
reviews
online
about
this
location
at
the
time
of
booking.
However,
our
experience
was
extremely
frustrating
and
disappointing.
I
was
told
email
is
the
best
way
to
get
in
touch
with
the
manager
when
I
requested
to
speak
with
him
in-person
at
the
time
of
check
out.
I
have
not
heard
back
from
anyone
at
the
hotel.
I
highly
recommend
going
to
another
hotel
for
your
stay.
